We are going to be using the race funds to install a permanent micro chip scanner for lost pets at Bold Republic Brewing. This is a project from the Human-Animal Support Coalition here in Temple TX and they are the beneficiary of all race proceeds.

Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director. We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans. A lot of hours, days and even months goes into planning a sporting event and we do so with the best intentions. Unfortunately, no one can control the weather and race directors are not the exceptions. Our goal is to always produce a full event as scheduled and only modify these plans due to safety concerns some of which can be caused by weather conditions. We're Back! The 3rd Annual Holiday Hustle 5k dashes into town on Saturday, December 12, 2026, 8am! Run, jog, stroll—or shuffle like you’re late to a holiday party—in this festive, chip-timed fun run. For the younger crowd (ages 0-9), we’ve got the Kids 1k Reindeer Dash—antlers optional, but highly recommended. YES! There are age group awards, but let’s be honest: the real prize is the festive t-shirt and finisher medal you’ll casually wear to every family gathering as proof you’re both athletic and jolly. Holiday attire is “optional” in the same way fruitcake is “optional” at Christmas—it’s happening whether you like it or not.
