The Speedway in Lights 5K returns for its 16th year on Sunday, Nov. 15, when more than 1,000 festive participants will be the first to tour the region's largest and most dazzling holiday lights display when the endurance race begins at 6 p.m. The run/walk event will wind through the new Speedway In Lights course that has been updated for 2026 with 40 new displays. This year, Recovery Unplugged along with Insight Wellness will host the Fifth Annual Nashville Recovery Run 5k. We come together with the Nashville community to bring awareness to Substance Use Disorder, congratulate those who have successfully come through recovery, and cheer on those still in the fight. This year, 2026, we will be running the 5k at Cornelia Fort Airpark in Nashville. We will have music, and food for runners, and will have Personal Best Racing on site to provide official timing for the race. Join Keep Blount Beautiful (KBB) and Little River Watershed Association (LRWA) for the 8th Annual Little River Run 5K, set for 11 AM on Saturday, November 21st at The Abbey (7765 River Rd. Townsend, TN 37882). The Little River Run 5K is a joint fundraising effort that brings together hundreds of people to celebrate the beauty of Blount County, and all proceeds from the event benefit KBB and LRWA's free programs and events that focus on environmental stewardship. Registration: Both in-person and virtual race options are available. Participants of all ages and skill levels are welcome. The in-person race is a chip-timed event and will start promptly at 11 AM. Early-bird registration is $25 and ends at 11:59 PM Monday, September 7th. Registration will increase to $30 on Tuesday, September 8th at 12 AM. Dress sensibly and don't pile on layers; the rule of thumb is to add 10 to 20 degrees to the outside temperature to calculate your running temperature. This is a Run/Walk 5k that will run down Tullahoma's well known Jackson and Atlantic Streets. That's right! We are closing part of the roads and rolling out the red carpet for you to run with your friends on the streets of Tullahoma. A 1964 L&N Caboose purchased from the Tennessee Central Railway Museum by the Tullahoma Historic Preservation Society in 2000 now marks the location. The Greeneville City Schools (GCS) Education Foundation invites you to participate in the 12th Annual GCSEF Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning and participate in a local, healthy, holiday tradition. Join us at 8am at Burley Stadium! Race day registration begins at 6:45am. Participants registering before November 13 will be guaranteed a race shirt. This family friendly event supports education in Greeneville City Schools while encouraging health and wellness. Funds raised through the Turkey Trot benefit the Greeneville City Schools Education Foundation (GCSEF), a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization that provides funding for innovative projects in GCS that reach beyond the scope of the school system’s regular operating budget. The Greeneville City School with the highest percentage of participation will receive a cash prize. Last year, Eastview Elementary School won the school participation challenge and received $500 to benefit Physical Education programming. The Give 'N Gobble 5K Thanksgiving Day Race is a fun-filled annual holiday tradition for Dickson County and many families in Middle Tennessee! As one of Middle Tennessee’s largest Thanksgiving Day races, the Give 'N Gobble's 5K Race and One Mile Walk/Run starts at with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson and finishes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum. For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States. The Give 'N Gobble’s challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field, and both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed. Since the first race in 2014, the Give ‘N Gobble has raised over $534,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center. The Dickson County Help Center provides aid in the form of food, clothing, prescribed medication, temporary shelter and limited financial assistance to the citizens of Dickson County on an emergency basis with love and dignity. 2026 will be the year to Run LoCo Half Marathon and Elf on the Run 5K!  The Run LoCo Half Marathon will be a certified out and back race course starting and finishing at the Tellico Lake Canal Day Use Area. 5K fundraiser to benefit the Community Pregnancy Center of Hartsville, TN. The race will include both a run and a walk with both men and women's divisions for awards across several age categories. After the race, there will be a free Fun Run around Trey Park for kids age 12 and under. Registration closes the day of the race. Join Wallace Memorial Church at Victor Ashe Park on Sunday, December 6, 2026 to help raise support for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering which will be used to support global missions. The 5k race and 1mile fun run/walk will be held at Victor Ashe Park by the light of the Moon. Head lamps, flashlights, glow sticks and night time running gear is encouraged. Let's light up the greenways! Packet Pickup will begin Sunday, December 6th at 4:30pm at the Victor Ashe pavilion and the race will start at 5:30pm. The courses start and finish at the Victor Ashe Pavilion. The 5k race course is an out and back on the greenway, running along the frisbee golf course, connecting to the cross walk to the Northwest Middle School Greenway, looping around the lower loop and coming back. Finish Line is in front of the pavilion. The 1 mile course goes almost completely around the Victor Ashe Soccer Fields and then turns around and comes back to the start finish line area in front of the pavilion. Anyone registering after November 8, 2026 will receive shirts while supplies last. Welcome to the Fourth Annual Chattanooga Bar Foundation and Chattanooga Bar Association Lawyers Have Heart 5K and 1 Mile walk/fun run event set for Saturday, December 12, 2026. Grab the kids or dogs or both and join us for a fun morning run or walk. Christmas Costumes are welcomed and encouraged (but not required). Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash and cleaned up after. Online Registration will end December 10, 2026 @ 10:00PM. Race day registration (in person only) will be available on December 12 from 7:30AM – 8:00AM. If you are a non-attorney staff member, please select the "Staff Only" sign up options. The 5K race will start at approximately 8:50 a.m. and the 1-mile walk will begin at 8:55 a.m. The start and finish will be at Camp Jordan Campground Pavilion located in Camp Jordan Park. Refreshments will be provided before and after the race. Proceeds of this event will benefit the Chambliss Center for Children's ISAIAH 117 HOUSE mission which provides physical and emotional support for children awaiting foster care placement. ISAIAH 117 is an initiative organized by the Chambliss Center for Children which is local non-profit organization. Awards will be given to adults and children who place 1st for each gender in the 5K, as well as 1st place awards for children of each gender (up to 12 years old) in the 1 mile fun run.
