This race consists of the following: Individual, Team Competition, 3 Person Relay and a 5K. Individual Competition: Sign up to participate as an individual. We will have age groups in 5 year increments. The Sprint Triathlon Team option is included for the 12th year. The team competition  will consist of three divisions – male, female, and coed. This is NOT a relay, each team member will do all three components of the Sprint Tri. The overall race times of the three team members will be added together to determine a final team time. The team with the lowest total time in their division will win team trophies. The Brackenridge Cross Country team and the Booster Club are working together to make this a successful event for our athletes, alumni, and community. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. "DO THE HAVEN HUSTLE 5K" The Haven Hustle 5K" is a fundraiser to benefit Haven Homes of Texarkana. Haven Homes is a faith-based, non-profit organization that serves both men and women in the Texarkana/Four States area who are struggling with life issues such as drug abuse, alcoholism, and addiction. Through safe housing, work and service programs, counseling, and spiritual guidance, we help individuals in need grow and thrive. Haven Homes offers a Transitional Home for women coming out of Bowie County Women's Center. Come out for our Fun Run through the Blanco State Park to support Homes For Our Troops. Choose from a 5K or 1K option. All ages and abilities welcome. This race is hosted by St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church of Blanco, Texas in celebration of St. Michael's Day. St. Michael's Day honors our first responders and veterans, and is a fun, family-friendly evening. After we honor our first responders, there will be a small parade, followed by the Fun Run. Food and activities are available for those not racing, or for when you get back from the run! The 5K begins and ends at the Church, and you'll run through Blanco State Park and back. The 1K will be a short route around the neighborhood by the Church. We hope to see you there! Race packet pick up will start at 5:30 pm on 9/28/26. Your packet will include a shirt, map, race bib or identifiers, and other event information.

Matthew, a brave young boy who lost his life at just 9 years old after a valiant fight against leukemia. Throughout his battles, Matthew exemplified incredible resilience and positivity. He continued to attend school, play, and bring joy to those around him with his humor and determination. His unwavering spirit and courage are the driving forces behind Miles 4 Matthew. Matthew's parents and friends established Miles 4 Matthew to offer financial assistance to families facing pediatric cancer while raising awareness and fostering a positive mindset. Matthew, initially diagnosed with ALL at age 4, beat cancer but faced a rare relapse in 2022. Despite his struggles, he remained upbeat and determined.
