The Honea/Gann Revival Center Missions 5K is a certified, chip-timed race. The course isn't ideal for a PR, but there are no steep hills or obstacles and the country-side view is uniquely different. Each year Altered Youth, the youth of Vincent Revival Center, puts on this 10K/5K race to help raise money for Speed The Light. STL is a non-profit organization the helps equip missionaries all around the world with transportation and communication equipment for evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, the printed word, and equipment for mass evangelism, our missionaries can better fulfill the Great Commission. Join us on November 14, 2026, at Helena High School for the 2026 Veteran's Day 10K Charity Ruck March. This 10K ruck march will raise awareness to veteran suicide prevention and benefit the veteran nonprofit Ultimate Experience Outdoors. UXO provides outdoor adventure opportunities to Veterans, First Responders, Gold Star Families, and Disabled Children. The 10K ruck march will start at the Helena High school at 0845, then traversing through the historic Hillsboro Trail, culminating at the Helena High School flag pole. There will be a family friendly community event located at the High School starting at 1000 for families to attend while participants finish the march. There will be bounce houses, vendors, food trucks, a Fun Run for kids, and much more! At 1100 once all participants are finished rucking, there will be a short Veteran's Day Ceremony, followed by raffle drawings for sponsorship prizes. Participating in the march with a 35lb ruck is preferred, but not mandatory. Don't let them carry the weight alone.

Enjoy a moderately challenging run through some of the highlights of Gadsden. The run starts and ends at Back Forty Beer Company. The half marathon and 10k will begin at 7:30am, the 5k begin at 8:00am.  All information and updates will be emailed to participants, please provide a valid email address during registration.  T-shirt deadline is October 27th.  This event benefits The United Way of Etowah County and other local charities.   PACKET PICKUP will be Friday, November 21st from 5pm-7pm at Back Forty Beer Company - Gadsden.        Packet pickup is offered the morning of the race from 6:30am-7:00am.   Half Marathon participants will receive a custom medal when they cross the finish line.  Age group awards will be given. 10k & 5k age group winners will receive custom medals.

Run across the Tennessee River on historic Wilson Dam and return on the Singing River Bridge. Course USATF Certified 10K Course: AL16012JE The 10K course begins at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center in Florence, AL, and proceeds across Wilson Dam and then onto a portion of the paved TVA nature trail. It continues back across the Tennessee River via the pedestrian walkway on the Singing River Bridge, and then a short distance through a residential area to the finish back at the conference center. There will be a 90-minute time limit to complete the course. Please do not enter if you cannot maintain at least a 14:30 pace per mile. Due to courseconstraints there will be no wheelchair division. Baby joggers, strollers, and animalswill not be allowed on the course. What started as a Thanksgiving morning run has turned into a tradition. Come build that Thanksgiving appetite by running the 6.2 mile certified course through the beautiful Golden Springs community. This ARC event benefits the YMCA. Walkers are welcome! Come and participate as a family. Overall male and female winners receive a Turkey Breast from The Honey Baked Ham Company. Overall 2nd & 3rd male and female receive Yummy Pies. Welcome to the Huntsville Track Club's Ditto Landing 10Kbenefiting the HTC's Harold & Louise Tinsley Scholarship Fund The original HTC Scholarship Fun Run was first held over 25 years ago and created specifically for the purpose of raising funds for the HTC Scholarship Fund. While the name, date, location and distance of this race have changed, its mission will remain the same. The Scholarship Fund has been the designated charity for this race and the Ditto Landing 10K will continue the mission of its predecessor. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. Want to start the new year out on the right foot?  Then the Forging Families 5K/10K and 1 Mile is for you!  This race offers a flat(ish), fast USATF-certified course for the 5K and 10K and chip timing.  It's a great way to begin the new year focusing on a healthy you and helping an Alabama family bring a child home forever. This event supports Sacred Selections, a not-for-profit organization that assists families in their quest to adopt a child.  It's a pretty amazing organization.  They operate with a volunteer board and minimal administrative costs. All proceeds from this race will be donated to Sacred Selections to reduce the financial burden on a family willing to give a child a home. Gathering the diverse groups in our beloved community to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood with fellowship and fitness.
