Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Iowa City, IA (10)

Iowa City, IA
US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. View Race Course, Results, and Race Information on the US Road Running race page.

THE JOEY RUN 5K | 10K | 1 Mile Fun Run Hosted By Jenny Fann & The Gurus

Franklin, TN
The Joey Run was created in memory of Joey Gootee, a beloved son, brother, family member, and friend whose life was lost to an overdose more than 10 years ago. Joey’s death forever changed our family. Addiction takes so much. It takes lives, steals time, breaks hearts, and leaves families carrying a loss that never completely goes away. After experiencing that pain firsthand, we knew we wanted to do something that could help keep another individual and another family from experiencing the same thing. That is why the Joey Run exists. Each year, we come together not only to remember Joey, but to shine a light into the darkness that so often surrounds addiction. Addiction can carry shame, silence, and stigma, but we believe there is hope. Recovery is possible, lives can be changed, and no one should have to walk that road alone. Proceeds from the Joey Run support addiction recovery efforts, helping provide hope, resources, and opportunities for individuals working toward a life of recovery. But the Joey Run is about more than raising money. It’s about bringing our community together. It’s about remembering those we’ve lost, celebrating those who are fighting and those who are living in recovery, supporting the families who love them, and reminding people that there is always hope. Whether you run, walk, volunteer, sponsor, or simply come out to support the event, you are helping us turn Joey’s story into something that can make a difference for someone else. Addiction has taken enough. Together, we can shine a light, offer hope, and help change the next family’s story. Join us for the Joey Run and help us run for recovery, run for hope, and run in memory of Joey.

Medal Madness 5K, & 10K at Panama City, FL (10)

Panama City, FL

Half Donkey (Half/10k/5k)

Alexandria, VA
Saturday, March 6, 2027 · Jones Point Park, Alexandria, VA Race in the morning, parade in the afternoon. All three distances start and finish at Jones Point Park, under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, and run out and back on the paved Mount Vernon Trail along the Potomac. The course is flat and fast, with the river beside you most of the way, and there are no road closures and no traffic to cross. Finish, collect your medal, and walk about a mile north into Old Town for the Alexandria St. Patrick's Day Parade, which steps off at noon. Bring your family and make a day of it. Every runner is tracked live on Geo.Racing, so your people can wait in Old Town and know exactly when to head down to the finish. Start times: Half marathon at 8:00 AM, 10K at 8:30 AM, 5K at 9:00 AM. Packet pickup opens at 7:00 AM at the park. The starts are staggered so every distance finishes well before the parade. Every entry includes: a race shirt, a finisher medal, chip timing and results, aid stations on the trail, and live tracking. Awards go to the top three men and women at each distance. Good to know: walkers are welcome at every distance; half marathon walkers should plan to finish by 3:00 PM. Parking at Jones Point Park is limited and Old Town fills up early on parade day, so carpool or come by bike. The trail stays open to others, so keep right and pass on the left. Jones Point Park, 1 Jones Point Dr, Alexandria, VA 22314. Presented by Old Dominion Racing.
