49 Miles of HOPE 5k/10k/49 Miler/Relay/Fun Run

Winston Salem, NC
For the sixth consecutive year, Justin will spend his birthday running his age in miles, all to raise money and awareness for HOPE of Winston Salem! Like the last three years, there will be a 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Fun Run to take place as Justin runs laps around the loop at Kimberley Park. We will also have a 49 mile Relay - so grab some friends and share the fun! As always, you can sign up for the 49 mile "Fun Run" to go the full distance! This year's after party will be the best yet, so stick around after the race for food, drink, fellowship and giveaways! The Course is a .55 mile crushed gravel trail loop at Kimberley Park, just outside of downtown Winston Salem. 5Kers will run a little under 6 laps and 10Kers will run just over 11 laps. Each race will start at different times to allow people to spread out. This is a family event complete with prizes, giveaways, and fellowship. Prizes will be awarded for Top Overall Female and Male finishers. Food and snacks will be available on site to help you fuel up post-race. All proceeds directly support our weekly distributions of nutritious meals and fresh fruits and vegetables for food-insecure children and families right here in Winston-Salem. Find out more about HOPE here. To donate directly to HOPE, click here and enter in "49 Miles of HOPE" in the additional info box. Come support HOPE and celebrate Justin's birthday at this unique event! Stay tuned for more information about the race!

US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. View Race Course, Results, and Race Information on the US Road Running race page.

South Mountain 5k, 10k and Fun Run

Morganton, NC
We are excited to return to Catawba Meadows Greenway in Morganton, NC for the SMBC 5K, 10K, and Fun Run in 2026! Since the inception of South Mountain Baptist Camp in 1957 in the South Mountains of North Carolina, the goal was to provide an environment that fosters spiritual growth through disconnecting from the world so as to connect with God. Time in nature, being exposed to new skills, and making friends, enables children, teenagers, and adults to learn about Jesus Christ and the message of salvation. South Mountain seeks to keep camp affordable for everyone and offsets the cost of camp by around $100 per camper since it's estimated that the cost of South Mountain’s summer camp is $205 per week and the true cost of camp is over $300 per week. Proceeds from each race goes directly to the camp’s operating budget. This race celebrates God’s work through South Mountain and the ability to experience a great, low-cost camp. Join us by running, walking, volunteering, or cheering the pa
