The 3rd Annual Mountain Lakes Volunteer Fire Department "Fired Up for the 4th 5K Run” will be held June 20th! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this 5K is the perfect way to kick off summer. Runners, runners with strollers, walker, and kids are all welcome. We've got a day packed with excitement. Discounted entry fees for fire, police, and EMS entrants. Awards will be given to the fastest male and female firefighters, police, EMS, and runners overall as well as to age group winners. Proceeds from the event will help the Mountain Lakes Fire Department better protect the Mountain Lakes community and our firefighters. Richie's Race (Officially Timed Mile) & Mary's Miles (Walk)  We are very excited to announce our Mary Therese Rose Fund Run/Walk in Memory of Rich DuHaime. In prior years, this was 5K Run/Walk formerly held in Darlington County Park in Mahwah. NJ. This year’s event will feature milers competing on the Lakeland Regional High School track. The walkers will be cheering them on the runners from the inner oval and outer edges of the track. Mile runs are all the rage, but walknig is just as important. Everyone within a stone's throw of Wanaque can see how fast (or slow) they can tackle a mile (5,280 feet/4 laps around the track), while having fun engaging or just kicking back and enjoying the "time" of day.   In Memory of Rich DuHaime Rich and his family have been recipients of assistance through the fund for their special needs child and dedicated the last 10+ years to raise funds for the children of the Mary Therese Rose Fund. On Saturday, June 20, 2026, Class 69 of the New Jersey Army National Guard Officer Candidate School (NJOCS) in Sea Girt, NJ will host the 22nd Annual Sergeant Nutter 5K Run. This event is organized by the SGT Sam Nutter Organization Inc (SSNO) in memory of the late SGT Samuel Nutter, to benefit the family of a NJ National Guard service member. We are asking for your help in aiding our Soldiers and their families in their time of need. This year's Beneficiary will be Specialist Gregory Mitchell, who was involved in a severe car accident in August of 2025 that resulted in multiple brain bleeds and a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Come join us as we bring back a classic race to Sunset Lake.  This race was a staple of the South Jersey triathlon scene for many years.  Maybe you participated in this event in the past or maybe you always wanted to but didn't get a chance. The Sussex County Association of Realtors (SCAR) is proud to have their 2nd Annual Superhero Run for Scholarships. Each year, the New Jersey Realtors® Educational Foundation offers annual scholarships to help local High School and College students meet the costs of higher education. Students are eligible for these scholarships if they are high school seniors who will be attending an undergraduate program, Technical School, currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, or enrolled at an NJ community college. It Takes A Borough (ITAB) is honored to host the annual FUCE 5K Family Fun Run/Walk in Mike Fuccile’s memory. On September 4, 2008, Mike Fuccile was murdered on his way to work in Jersey City where he served as a chief compliance officer for Merrill Lynch. Mike left behind his wife of ten years, Nancy, and their three children; Michael, Jack and Brooke. In 2009, The Fucille Foundation was established to help local families impacted by tragedy and it continued to do so until the end of 2023 when it passed its torch to ITAB. ITAB, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to encouraging community solidarity, relies on financial contributions and tangible donations to create meaningful, positive impacts on members of its community affected by tragedy or unforeseen circumstances. Our third annual charity 5K will be held on June 27, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. The event will take place at Horseshoe Lake in Succasunna NJ and all proceeds will go to TBD. Race day registration will start at 7:30 a.m. by the Imagination Station in Horseshoe Lake. The Around the Cape Paddle Event benefits the DESATNICK Foundation, a non-profit organization aimed to help those living with Spinal Cord Injury in Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland, Ocean and Monmouth Counties, New Jersey.

Race Start Time and Location: We are extremely excited to host our one and only triathlon in the all beautiful Palisades Park in New Jersey! This is our second year running the race as well as our interest in expanding more races outside of NYC. With a gorgeous view of the Hudson River, also known as the River Road, and the undulating Henry Hudson Dr, it makes for a very challenging and rewarding course in swimming, running, and biking. As this is an open water event in the Hudson River, the swim can sometimes be challenging and the water temperature may not be as warm in June. Wet suits are allowed but not required. Volunteers from the Hudson Kayak Club will be on duty to ensure a safe and successful swim for all triathletes. Here is what you can expect on race day: Race start is 8:00 AM sharp at the transition area by the Alpine Marina’s Pavilion comfort station, at the end of the boat dock. We are back for our third annual Behr Brewing 5K!  As always, the run will start and finish at Behr Brewing and the route will be on the lovely Cold Spring Bike Path.  The route can be found here.  Stay for the after-party at Behr featuring a beer included for all runners, a unique swag package, instant results and post-race photos, and other entertainment.  There will also be water on the course and food for purchase at a food truck.   Registration is now open at $35 for adults and $15 for kids 13 and under.  We are also offering Referral Rewards which means if you sign up and refer 3 friends to sign up, your registration fee will be completely refunded! A 5k run and Kids Fun Run through the beautiful streets of Glen Rock.  Athletes will enjoy running this community event on July 4th prior to the start of the parade and then get to stick around to enjoy the parade itself.   Proceeds go to benefit G.R.A.C.E.  An organization set up after 911 to provide assistance to family members of those who died in the terrorist attacks.  Today, G.R.A.C.E. continues its hard work by maintaining the 911 Memorial in town, and providing scholarship funds to High School Seniors in memory of Glen Rock's eleven victims.

The series, established in 1964 by Shore A.C, is a weekly 5k race and 1 mile kids run held on the perimeter of Lake Takanassee. The Kids 1 mile run (1 lap around the lake) starts at 6:30pm. The 5K (4 laps around the lake) starts at 6:45pm. Medals are awarded to the top 3 overall finishers and age group winners in the 5K, and the top 3 girls and top 3 boys in the 1 mile run. The Vineland Grand Prix is South Jerseys only free race series. This series is family friendly, beginner friendly, and welcomes all paces. This series is a long-standing summer tradition in the city of Vineland. Weekly 5K races every Wednesday Night from July 10th to August 7th at Vineland's hidden Cross Country gem - Campanella Park. 8th Annual Pier to Pier Challenge Swim Join us for some some fun in the sun down at the shore!  The 1 mile course will be in the form appex. Swimmers will enter the water, out in an  appex triangle and then exit the water through a finish chute. This is RACE #1in the TKC Open Water Summer Swim Series: TRIPLE CROWN! Cedar Island is race #2 and the September Point to Point is race #3. in the series. Triple Crown Swimmers who register for all three swims will get a TC Award. All three swim times are combined for everyone and the top 5 male and female overall with the low net score will get an additional overall prize. This is a perfect training swim for participants who are registered for Cedar Island 5K Swim on August 25th!  It is a point to point 1.2 mile bay training swim with the current on the back half of the Cedar Island 5K Swim course.
