This two day triathlon event is a chance for athletes of all skill levels to compete on a scenic riverside course, perfect for the novice through the seasoned triathlete. In 2025, Happy Soles participants helped Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry purchase 3.5 million pounds of food to feed over 50,000 households. For all of those that laced up their sneakers or rode their bikes in 2025, we cannot thank you enough for your support of our mission. But, we need your help again this year!! The Challenges1. The Hot Dog Mile is an annual event celebrating hot dogs and regular dogs, dreamed up by the runners of Eastern Market Brewing Run Club. Participants eat four dogs and run four 1/4 mile laps- it's as simple as that! All proceeds after race costs are donated to a local Detroit Dog Rescue! It's like a beer mile, but with hot dogs! 4 hot dogs, 4 quarter mile laps, hopefully no puking and some beers at the end. a great hang-out to support dogs, eat hot dogs, have some beers and enjoy a lovely Sunday at Eastern Market! The race event runs from 10am - 2pm with a DJ, adoptable dogs, and great swag. Select your wave start time when registering. New this year- Relay Style! Join us by participating in this unique 5K race that lets you bring along your best friend – your dog! ​Hosted by the Bay Area Women's Center, the Judy V Spencer 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk event will be held Sunday, June 7 at the Bay City Community Center, 800 John F. Kennedy Dr, Bay City, MI 48706. Racers can elect to purchase a race t-shirt and will also receive other goodies during race day. The Singletrack Flyers is a "ready to ride" youth mountain biking initiative focused on teaching young riders how to ride safely, advance their skills on a mountain bike, the importance of trail stewardship, and most importantly how to have FUN on our local trails. Encouraging children to take up mountain biking benefits their bodies and minds now and into the future, establishing healthy habits that will last a lifetime. Our all-volunteer organization brings together parents and community members to offer exciting programs for kids of all ages so that they, too, can experience the excitement of riding through the Keweenaw's forests. We believe that in order to build and maintain sustainable singletrack trails in the Keweenaw Peninsula, we have to develop the next generation of mountain bikers right here at home.  These passionate young riders will grow up to be advocates for trail development throughout their lives, creating a positive feedback loop that will benefit every

We hope you can join us on the amazing trails of Marquette, Michigan for skill building and on the trail learning with professional mountain bike instructors from across the region. Any woman 18 and over, including those new to the bike who want to improve their riding in a supportive, fun environment are welcome to attend. This is not a fitness camp, it is a skills camp focused on helping you become a better rider and comfortable on varied terrain. Class 1 e-bikes welcome. Marquette's NTN Trails will provide diverse ride options and the Because Trails MTB Camp coaches will cater riding and skills progression to attendees. To cater to attendees, we organize the weekend across tracks and not only skill levels. Step one is to grab a seat for the weekend as registration spots are limited. Middle School and High School Youth are invited to join their own Cereal City Triathlon training group.  The training will last six weeks, culminating with the Cereal City Triathlon on July 18th, 2026.  Registration for the Cereal City Athletics Youth Tri Club includes a training schedule and coaches for six weeks.  Focus will be spent on confidence in open water swimming, understanding and practicing transitions, and safety while cycling on the road.  Each triathlete is required to bring his/her own bike helmet and swim buoy (available as a registration add on) to each training session.  Participants must register separately for the Cereal City Triathlon.  They will have the option of training for the "Sprint" distance or the "Super Sprint" distance based upon their skill level and the recommendation from their coaches.   Kids MUST know how to swim in order to participate in this group. Catch the Spear-It! The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5k will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. The Keweenaw Chain Drive Festival is back as a Poker Run in 2026! For riders, there will be the option of a short, long, and adventure route. Once again, the short and long courses are open for runners to sign up as well! Each route will have multiple poker chip stations at random locations. Riders and runners will collect a chip from each location and submit them to find out their poker hand.  The best poker hand will win various prize packages!  The ride/run is free to enter.  If you would like to make a donation to the trails, you can do so during the registration process or at any time by clicking the Donation button at the top of this page.  All proceeds from the donations will go to supporting the Maasto Hiihto/Churning Rapids and Swedetown trails.    Be on the lookout for some new additions to the courses and bonuses from sponsors this year!   Please note that this year's event is self-supported.  There may be pop-up aid stations. The 5K course will take runners and walkers along the beautiful St. Joseph River and two Lake Michigan beaches. Participants will race along Silver Beach, Lions Park Beach and Howard Recreational Trail and then through the Whirlpool Compass Fountain. The race begins and ends at the Margaret Upton Arboretum. The 5K begins at 9 a.m. The non-competitive 1K fun run (0.62 miles) begins prior to the 5K. With volunteers cheering along the way, the children will follow a paved sidewalk and safe route. Celebrate the start of summer with a 5K for all ages! The Berry Fast 5K is run on scenic gravel trails around the family-owned 50-acre Blake’s Lyon Township property. The 5k race will take you through the orchard and includes a donut, glass of hard or sweet cider, t-shirt and commemorative glass. Strollers are permitted at your own discretion as the terrain is gravel. Max's Race for The Davies Project 2026, our 21st annual in-person 5k run/walk, will be held on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University. Saddle up for the Wild West 5K presented by BYOC at the Midwest Rodeo! This exciting 3.1-mile run takes place at the Genesee County Fairgrounds in Mt. Morris and brings together fitness, community, and rodeo spirit. Tall Turf Ministries is holding its third annual 5K race!  We have continued improving our 5k course which integrates several of our trails, allowing runners to see and experience God's creation on our beautiful property located on Campbell Lake, in Oceana County.  We are also including a virtual event for those not able to attend!

Kayak 1 mile, Bike 11 miles, Run 3 miles. Kayak, bike, and run the beautiful and historic Huron National Forest, beginning in Mio Pond of the Au Sable River in Mio and ending at Boney Park in Fairview, Michigan. The Au Sable Valley Triathlon is an individual or team event, consisting of kayaking on the River backwaters, biking on paved roads, and running on grass/ dirt trails. It has been described as an intermediate-level event in terms of difficulty. Past participants have found it a fun, low-key, friendly competition and have enjoyed participating with friends and family members. Announcing the inaugural Stomping out Elder Abuse One Step At A Time 5k run/walk. The race will take place on Sunday, June 14th at 8:30 am at Manly Bennet Park in Hamburg. We are excited to return for our annual Cogs & Kegs bike ride! This year's event will begin and end at Lincoln Yard in Birmingham.  The 30-mile route departs at 6:30 PM and is for experienced riders, keeping a fast pace around 18 miles/hour. This ride is not for the faint of heart, so please only choose this distance if you are a seasoned rider and can stay with the group. Casual riders are encouraged to choose the 10-mile route which will begin at 7 PM. Registration for both events will open at 5:30 PM.All riders will enjoy a post-ride celebration with dinner and a beer at Lincoln Yard upon their return. Bike racks will be available and monitored while participants enjoy their meal. Helmets are required, and both the 10-mile and the 30-mile routes will have police escorts for safety. Learn to Kayak: This is an introductory recreational kayak course for boys and girls ages 7-15. Students will learn or improve basic strokes, water safety, and fundamentals all while having fun. Class will be held on June 18,19,25,26, & July 2, 2025 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. Class fee includes instruction, a Paddle Club t-shirt, use of boats, paddles, and PFD. (You may bring your own properly fitting PFD if preferred) Please bring a water bottle, sunblock, water shoes, and swimsuit. Cost: $55 Youth C2-Race Canoe: This program is for ages 10-18 who are interested in more advanced canoe paddling techniques.
