The Panther Prowl is a fundraiser for the St Lawrence cross country team.  An out and back run along the Dearborn County Trail.  Starts and finish outside Ivy Tech near the convention center.

The run/walk starts at 9 a.m. at our Sister Cities Park on Pennsy Trail, next to the Greenfield Police Department. The race is a down-and-back course along the trail, heading west before turning around and returning to the Sister Cities Park.

Welcome to Running Wild 5K Run/3K Wacky Scavenger Hunt Walk!  About this Event: The Running Wild 5K Run is professionally chip-timed with disposable chips on park wooded and open field trails, park roads, grass, and gravel. The 5K event includes awards for the top 3 finishers in each age category. The 3K Wacky Scavenger Hunt Walk is on similar, relatively flat surfaces. Dogs allowed, on 6-foot leash, for the WALK ONLY. Individuals or families with leashed dogs will begin at the back of the walk start. Egg bake breakfast with fresh fruit and homemade cookies for registered participants. Terrific door prizes donated by local vendors and the St. Joseph County Parks Foundation and Friends of Bendix Woods and Spicer Lake! (Must be present to win.) We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series. Participants aged 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.  The Buckner Park Dash is a one mile race on the recreation trail in Buckner Park. Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib. Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events. Runners will receive a race decal to put on their bib at the finish line.  Be sure to return your race bib to packet pickup after you finish the race. You will use the same bib for the entire season!  We are collecting non-perishable food items to help fill the local food lockers to help local families in need.The Getting Miles Athletic Club is a local organization whose goal is to provide a community for recreational athletes of all levels.   Race

The Teter Twilight 5k Run for the Honey begins at 7:00 pm. This 5k run/jog/walk will be cross-country style along mostly wooded paths that highlight Teter's new and old trails along the scenic White River. Bring the dogs and kids and enjoy a run or leisurely stroll, all while contributing to a good cause. The race will be timed. Every participant will receive a commemorative jar of honey while supplies last. First place in Women, Men, and Youth will receive a medal. The overall winner will receive a week's share of vegetables. All participants will have the option to purchase a commemorative t-shirt. Check-in will begin at 5:30-6:45 pm with the race-jog-walk starting at 7:00 pm with runners first, joggers second, and walkers third. All proceeds will fund Teter's mission of increasing access to healthy food for the vulnerable and providing ecological education while building community.

One of our longest-running Trail Run Series venues, Southwestway Park offers a challenging and scenic course overlooking the White River. This is the final race in the 5k/15k DINO Trail Run Series. The 15k distance is a 5k lap followed by a 10k lap. Join us on Saturday, August 15 in downtown Indianapolis for the 2026 Race Away From Domestic Violence 5k, benefiting the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV). This impactful 5k aims to raise awareness of the devastating affects that domestic violence has on our families and communities.  ICADV works for the prevention and elimination of domestic violence – until the violence ends.  Over the past 22 years, ICADV has raised over $400,000 to support survivors with resources and programs that increase their safety and stability including legal, housing and economic supports.  Participants can run, walk or roll through a route beginning at the IUI Michael A. Carroll Stadium, which offers beautiful views of the White River and Indianapolis Zoo. The 5K course is accessible and allows individuals of all ages and abilities to participate. Within it lies the tallest hill in the city: Mann Hill.  It's a very spectator-friendly course with an ideal variety of fast riding, technical riding, and climbing. The first mile is generally uphill and wide enough for passing at almost every point. ​This race brings out a large crowd to the very popular trail system. The RUN(317) Series celebrates the unique people, neighborhoods, businesses and charities of the (317)!  RUN(317) Speedway is the last in the 5 race Series. The Tree Trail Trot Race is a beautiful trail run experience on the gently rolling, wooded trails of Salamonie Lake, one of Indiana's Department of Natural Resources State Parks. This 5k race begins and ends at the Wildlife Management Pond located near the modern Campgroup at the Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area. New for this year, it will be a chip timed event! This race is made possible through the Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive Services, Inc. A Pancake Breakfast will be served free for participants and a suggested free will donation to the public. Freshly picked sweet corn will be available for purchase during the event. All proceeds of this event go into the Friends of the Upper Wabash Interpretive services to support events, education, and the Interpretive Center.

Join us for our first ever Woodburn Fall Event 5k run/walk. The 5k course runs through Woodburn's pastoral rural surroundings and proceeds through its quaint downtown. Join us for the third annual Lake Life 8K race being held during Summerfest at Hamilton Lake! The race will begin at the Fish Creek Trail head and will take runners and walkers through the beautiful trail that runs next to Fish Creek. This is a flat crushed gravel type surface. The course will then lead runners into the Acres Land Trust grounds where they will get some true trail and grassy field running before heading back to run on the other side of the creek. The Hancock Flat 50 is a community bicycle RIDE taking place on August 29, 2026 starting in Greenfield, IN and taking your through scenic Hancock County. There will be 50- and 25-mile routes, all of which are open to cyclists of every skill level. We also believe that we can make a difference by providing supplemental food to our neighboring communities. We support these neighboring communities by need rather than by parish borders. In addition, the race provides an opportunity for runners (and walkers) to come together on a Saturday morning to exercise and then break bread over breakfast.  NOTE: Children under 8 can participate in the race and breakfast for free with a signed up adult.

2nd Annual F3 5K 4 Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center!  Event race starts at 9am! Please arrive early for check in! F3, a local men’s workout group is organizing a community 5K run/walk/ruck to raise funds and awareness for survivors of rape and human trafficking. The event aims to support the Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center, a nonprofit organization in Northwest Indiana dedicated to providing crisis advocacy services, support groups, prevention and education services for women who have experienced sexual violence and exploitation. We are motivated by a shared commitment to being positive agents of change in our communities.

The Firefly Six Hour Trail Race is a six-hour timed night trail event. Run as many trail laps as you can in six hours.  Participants complete as many laps as they can on the  Franke Park Trail network for up to six hours. The route consists of paved path, gravel and single track dirt trail. Each loop will start/finish at the HUB. Only full loops will count toward your mileage total! The HUB is a multi-use facility built and maintained by the Summit City Singletrack mountain bike riding club. The HUB is equipped with picnic tables and shade triangles. The HUB will also be lit after sunset.  You can find the HUB between the gravel parking lot and Derby Hill.  There will not be an aid station on the course. Bring your own snacks and drinks to keep at the HUB. We encourage you to bring your favorite snacks and drinks to share at the HUB during the race. About the Event:   Stair Climb:  There were 1,980 steps in the Towers that fell on 9/11. That's 17 times up & down 120 stairs  in the Lake Co. Fairgrounds Grandstand.  You will be given 17 pennies, dropping off 1 after each lap completed.  When your pennies are gone, you are finished!  Are you up for the challenge? 1 Mile Non-timed Walk is for those who don't wish to do stairs but still want to participate to honor our 9/11 Heroes.   Participants receive: *  Finisher Medal for FIRST 200 to sign up*  Wristband with the name of a 9/11 Hero, a firefighter or police officer who died on 9/11 & for whom you will be climbing or walking.  We encourage you to look up  your hero & even bring their picture with you. The Valpo Tradition Continues!  Join us for the 48th running of the Popcorn Panic. A community tradition for over four decades, this event has over 1,200 participants annually, running and walking through our tree-lined city streets. In teams or as individuals, you can choose to run the 5 miles or the 5K run or walk. Team Competition Participants are encouraged to form teams! Teams must have at least 4 finishers to be eligible for team award. Winner is determined by computer analysis of the overall place of the top 4 team members. Since 2017, we have partnered with the Jeffersonville Police Department to hold an annual community event to raise money for our local law enforcement, the Back Your Blue 5K.  Every year , the event is held down at the Big Four Station in Downtown Jeffersonville with food, activities, and demonstrations for everyone to experience. Local businesses and members of the community sponsor the event, which helps raise funds for the officers of the Jeffersonville Police Department.  The event is open to anyone who wants to participate, run or walk.

Join us for the third year of this race on our beautiful course. The 3rd annual MYPath 5k will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 8:30 am.  The race will start and finish at the Owen County Fairgrounds and will travel over portions of the MYPath trail before returning to town. This is a flat, fast course that uses both paved and unpaved sections of MYPath. It's a beautiful route along the White River, over a wonderful bridge, and through the Tree Tube Trail.
