This event will be held to raise funds for the HALO Group in Perry, Georgia.  The HALO Group is a vocational and life skills day program that serves adults(teammates) with developmental disabilities and autism.   The goal of the HALO Group is to help enrich each teammates overall quality of life and help each one become as independent as possible.  We also strive to assist those who are able in finding equitable and viable employment within the community, while offering continued job coaching in order to sustain employment. This year’s event will take place at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. There will be a $100 prize for the top Male and Female winners and the top Male and Female Masters.  Come join us for a great morning of running.

D-Day is the perfect time to honor the soldiers who trained at Camp Toccoa and all veterans who served and jumped into Normandy on June 6, 1944.  The 10K Run and Memorial Walk will take you in the footsteps of the 18,000 who trained on Currahee Mountain during WWII.     All proceeds from the events will be used for the Camp Toccoa at Currahee Project to preserve the Legacy of Leadership exemplified by the men who trained there.  Thank you for supporting the event and celebrating the Greatest Generation!

The Home Run 5k and 1M Fun Run will be held in beautiful Americus, Georgia. The route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through historic homes in the neighborhood. Every dollar raised by this event directly benefits the Americus Campus of The Methodist Home. This race is being held in memory of a friend of the home, Jay Williams. May 10, 2024 our family tragically lost our sweet toddler, Gavin Reid Hansrote. Our family loves to run, be outside, and Gavin loved to ride his horse scooter. Reid-y To Swim 5K and Fun Day will be in honor of our sweet baby. This community event will be held at Greatest Generation Memorial Park Thomaston, GA. The route will start at the playground and go through the (paved) trail and back. The Kids TRYathlon is a community-centered youth athletic event that promotes physical fitness, confidence building and family engagement. Using the Lakeshore Natatorium, track and field facilities and bike paths, the TRYathlon is a multi-age, multi-skill experience for young people, ages 6-12. It consists of three components: swimming, biking and running. Participants are divided into three age groups to ensure appropriate challenge levels and safety.
