The 3rd Annual Michael Bazan Jimenez & Noah Lichwa Memorial Fun Run will be a fundraiser taking place on Winters Youth Day, April 25th, 2026 to help raise money for the Noah Lichwa & Michael Bazan Jimenez Memorial Scholarships. On June 9th 2022, we tragically lost two young men which effected our community deeply. We are bringing back this Youth Day Fun Run not only to raise money to benefit students at the local high school, but also to remember and honor the boys we lost that day. Shadow Strike Unsanctioned Run

No clocks. No mile markers. Just speed. This is a 4+ mile race through Chino Hills and the surrounding area.  Check-in time 6:00 p.m. Runners will be given race instructions 15 minutes before the start. From there, you must navigate your way to four checkpoints before racing to the finish location. It's a race fueled by strategy and speed. Ride 4 A Reason has 3 different routes for cyclists of every level and experience, and there's always a virtual option for those that prefer to ride with us in spirit!  110 Miles - Ride all the way from Oakland to Sacramento!  The century ride begins at Oakland Technical High School and passes through beautiful bay area communities on the way to Sacramento.  68 Miles - Start in Suisun City and enjoy some of the most delightful miles of R4R.  This route begins at the Suisun City train depot, and riders can choose a shuttle bus from Oakland Tech (leaves at 8 AM) or take the train/drive a car to the Suisun City train station.  45 Miles - Our most family friendly route starts in Vacaville and has less than 600 ft of elevation gain, making it a perfect ride for anyone who is newer to long-distance cycling. Nail the Rail Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Join us for a stroll along the Sacramento Rail Trail.  A converted Southern Pacific Railroad track that starts at the base of Shasta Dam and runs for over 11 miles. Enjoy a the view along the Sacramento River/Keswick Lake in the cool of the morning.  Trail is very flat and fast. Field is limited to 400. Races include a half marathon, 10K and 5K. Finisher awards to Half marathoners.  Awards 3 deep in age groups, plus overall awards. Start/Finish will be from the Chappie OHV area at the base of Shasta Dam.  Once you cross Shasta Dam you will follow the road down to the OHV area. Walk for Jenna's Joy: Mental Health Awareness

This event is a walkathon on April 26th, 2025 in El Dorado County (EDC). This walkathon will raise money for the non-profit Jenna Sue Souza Furst Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships and a free therapy session to local high school students within EDC. The walkathon aims to spread mental health awareness with an emphasis on our youth. The trail will start at the Placerville Town Hall, go through main street, and loop back to Placerville Town Hall, utilizing the EDC trail at the end. The registration at the event will begin at 8am and will close at 10am. The walk will begin at 9am. T-shirts and raffle tickets will be available for purchase on this website and at the event. Lace Up For Learning is a nonprofit that was started in 2024 by five 8th grade friends who believe in the value of community, the importance of education, and the power of running.  The mission behind this annual event is to raise money for under resourced classrooms across the greater Sacramento area. In the first two years, participants, donors, and sponsors raised more than $30,000 -- reaching thousands of students, K-12.  The 5k and 10k courses run on the beautiful, flat paved Parkway Trails in Folsom. The Kids Fun Run includes obstacle elements and takes place on a large grass field. Napa MPS Race for a Cure

2026 Napa Race for a Cure 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk The National MPS Society will host a timed 5K run and 1 mile walk, beginning at 10:30 AM on Sunday, April 26.  The 1 mile walk will begin at 10:40 AM.  Packet pickup and day of registration will open at 8:30 AM.  A picnic for attendees and volunteers will be held after the race! This event is open to individuals of all ages and abilities. Once you register, either as an individual or as part of a team, you are set. We would love to see the posts of pictures participants on their 5K route. This is completely optional – but since our goal is to bring awareness to MPS and ML, we want to do just that. And by using #MPSAwareness on your social media posts, we will be able to keep up with the fun. Not able to join in person? Participate virtually!
