Outdoor yoga on a weekend morning by the river is just what the yogi ordered! Become one with nature while you work on your flexibility and core strength. Yoga is for everybody and every body, not just the super flexible. The class led by Align Yoga, Rocks, and Reiki is a mixed-level flow and great for beginner to advanced practitioners, but we do ask that you have taken at least a class or two before showing up! This party is BYOM (bring your own mat) because no one wants grass stains on their palms from doing downward dog!

When & Where: The 5k run starts at 9:00 am at the Warren County Health & Human Services Complex (the former 15th Street School; same location as in previous years!) inFront Royal, Virginia. 21st Annual Dolphin Dash 5K   This is our 21st Annual Dolphin Dash, in which we are raising money for Abby's Legacy Foundation. Abby’s Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports childhood cancer patients through research, care, and love. All money raised from our Winter Carnival, Casholas, and this race will go to this charity.   You may both register and pay for the race on this page. All registrations include a T-shirt designed by an Ocean Lakes student along with a race bag. Join us for the Dahlgren Trail's annual bike event - the Trailblazer! This friendly, community bike ride begins at the trailhead located at 10431 Bloomsbury Road. Google maps doesn't always show the correct location of the trailhead. 10431 Bloomsbury Road can be located using GPS coordinates: 38.26753N 77.29842W The ride turns around 4 miles later at 9274 Comorn Road and returns to the starting area, for a total of 8 miles. Anyone not wishing to ride this distance can turn around and return to the starting area at any time. To better serve our community's bike riders, the Friends of the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is conducting this event as a fundraiser for the purchase and installation of public bike maintenance stands along the trail. The Salute To The Military Triathlon is an event for everyone from novice to experienced and honors our military personnel and veterans. A Sprint Triathlon and Aquabike race followed by a youth race makes for a great family event and a chance for the youth to take part in the sport of triathlon. Don't forget about our DUATHLON option as well! Join us for the 21st Annual Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic for a 5k race along the beautiful Virginia Beach Boardwalk over Memorial Day Weekend!  Flat out and back course. T-Shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers. Plus enjoy the Coastal Edge Student Art Pavilion, and check out some of the best in pro and amateur surf with the Coastal Edge Steel Pier Classic by Katin WSL 1000 surfing contest.  Runners will start the race on the boardwalk at 2nd street. The race will run north to 24th street and return back to 2nd Street. There will be water stations at the start/finish line and at the turnaround. Parking is available in the 2nd street lot close to the start. For the past 11 years, Lynchburg Road Runners Club and Type 1 Diabetes Experience (T1DE) have hosted this race to provide support for local families living with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes. It has become a great community and family event. This year the Memorial Day 10k will be hosted by Community Access Network (CAN).  While T1DE is dissolving, Community Access Network, already an area leader in diabetes education and management, will provide for continued support for T1 families in our community. In addition, Community Access Network provides exceptional, comprehensive, quality, and compassionate healthcare to every member of our community.  The Memorial Day 10K is the 7th race in the 2026 Lynchburg Road Runners  Race Series.

Run to Remember VB is a charitable race, conceived by four widows of Navy SEALs who were killed in action along with 26 other service members on August 6, 2011. In the midst of our grief, we felt extreme gratitude for the communities who rallied to support us- Naval Special Warfare, Virginia Beach, and many others around the nation. Our gratitude led us to create this event to bring people together to celebrate the true meaning of Memorial Day while giving back to organizations whose mission is to support families of fallen service members. Run to Remember VB is held on Memorial Day at the Military Aviation Museum in Pungo, VA. The morning begins with the National Anthem and the presentation of colors. Four Wednesday Races make for One Great Series Plan to get off of work a bit early and join over 200 riders for four spectacular weekdays of racing starting May 27th! Pitched as a race “in your own backyard”, W@W features a very down-home and earthy venue. We are keeping the series as grassroots as you can get. But don’t let that fool you, this race series is a highly organized event, that allows for enough riding categories to give everyone a fighting chance. Bike Lane Race Team works hard to host a community-oriented race series. This family-friendly event celebrates maternal health and wellness while raising funds to support postpartum mothers in our community. Join us on Saturday, May 30 at 6:00 pm for the Clifton Caboose 5K and 1-Mile Fun RunThe start/finish line is just a few feet from the Triangle (the intersection of Clifton, Newman and Main Streets); near the Barn located at 7139 Main Street, Clifton, VA 20124Both the 1-Mile Fun Run and the 5k begin in the turn-of-the-century town of Clifton, VA. The scenic course winds down a gently rolling country road, across a creek, and past a horse or two, then back to the start line.
