Santa Made Me Do It! is a 5K road race, 2 mile walk and 1/4-mile kids fun run on December 5, 2026 in Bethlehem, CT. This race is organized by The First Mile and will be held in conjunction with the Bethlehem Christmastown Festival. Location and parking The race starts in front of the Memorial Hall on the Bethlehem Town Green. Parking will be at the Bethlehem Fair Grounds, 384 Main St North, Bethlehem, CT. Shuttle buses will bring runners and spectators to the Town Green beginning at 8:30 AM. The shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day, so runners and their families can stay after the race and check out the festival. There will NOT be parking available at the Green and the road will be closed to traffic. Runners may also be dropped off at the Green. Race Day Information The 5K race and 2 mile walk start together at 10 AM. There is a free kids' fun run at 9:30 AM. Frosty Goes 5k Off Road Santa says you could win this!!! Join us for the FROSTY 5K on December 19, Saturday, with a start time of 10 AM. This exciting frosty 5k run takes place at the Town of Stratford's own Roosevelt Forest, giving you a wonderful opportunity to 'get off the road' and onto the trails with nature. Who knows, maybe we can even spot Frosty running alongside us! Feel free to dress up in any holiday costume, but a little trail experience is required. You can choose to run, jog, hike, or walk the 5K and enjoy a new panorama while embracing the 'Holiday Spirit' as you move along. There will be awards for the top 3 females and top 3 men with the fastest finish! All participants who complete the course will receive a custom-designed finisher's medallion.   A portion of the proceeds will benefit charities such as the Roosevelt Forest Commission, Veteran's Museum, Stratford Library, and others. One of the very few road races around in January.  Start your new year off right, and come join us for a fun race on the streets of Mystic!  The race starts and finishes in Olde Mistick Village.  There will be plenty of parking on race day.   Please note the race is capped at 350 participants, so don't delay in signing up!   Race weekend schedule: Early packet pickup:  Friday, January 8, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, at Kelley's PaceRace day packet pickup:  Saturday, January 9, from 7:30am - 8:45am, at Kelley's PaceRace start:  Saturday, January 9, 9:00am sharp Stick around post-race for awards and breakfast sponsored by and held at the Jealous Monk! We are excited to announce the 46th annual Winter Wonderland 5 Miler Sunday, January 31, 2027 at 9:30 am!!!! Details to come in Fall 2026! The proceeds and donations of this event fund scholarships given to Milford High School Seniors, donations to local charities, and allow us to host the Kid's Track Summer Series! This is a free weekly track meet for kids hosted by the Milford Road Runners. The Milford Road Runners is a 501(c)(3) organization.

The flat 5K course runs travels starts and finishes in front of the historic New Haven Rock and Roll venue Toad’s Place. Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day after the race at Toad’s Place with an exciting awards ceremony, costume contest, live music, food, beverages and beer for 21+! Limited to 1500 runners.  The race benefits The Diaper Bank of Connecticut, please consider making a donation during the registration process! We will also be collecting diapers at packet pickup and on race day!
