Celebrating its 44th Anniversary, the Bayshore Marathon has become a “must run” for runners throughout the Midwest and beyond. Many runners return year after year to enjoy the scenic courses which run along the shores of beautiful Grand Traverse Bay. Hosted by Traverse City Track Club, Bayshore features a 10K, half marathon a full marathon, and a kids 1.2 mile fun run. The number of runners in all three races is limited to ensure a more enjoyable experience. Traverse City Track Club uses proceeds from Bayshore to sponsor many running and health related activities in and around Northwest Michigan.

A run to honor our veterans, active duty military, and public servants!  A 5K Run beginning at the Edwardsburg Sports Complex, running through a portion of the village of Edwardsburg and ending at the complex. The 2K Run/Walk is great for families or anyone wanting to support ESC and our Hero's while getting some exercise.   Before the race and walk begin we will be recognizing our heros with a special t-shirt and certificate. The local police and fire department bring a police car and a fire engine by for the children to see.   There are 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for all men and women in all age categories including children.  Prizes will be awarded! The 2026 Gladwin County River Race of Two Cities celebrates outdoor recreation and the natural resources that define Gladwin County. Highlighting years of conservation efforts by the Gladwin Conservation District and local partners, this event will showcase the revitalization of the Cedar River and the ways that outdoor recreation can bring people together! Top of Michigan Festival of Races includes a series of races that benefit the Top of Michigan Trails Council and the Petoskey High School Track and Cross Country teams.    The course is run along the Little Traverse Wheelway, a non-motorized trail that runs from Charlevoix, through Petoskey/Bay Harbor and onto Harbor Springs. This year, our course will be out and backs from Petoskey's waterfront. The trail is an excellent venue for runners. The trail is relatively flat and has spectacular views of the Little Traverse Bay. Please note that there are a few off road sections of this route, on grass and dirt. The Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k start and end in Petoskey. The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 10th year! About This Event: Join us for the 31st annual Run To Climax!  This is a scenic Memorial Day race with profits going to our local elementary school. Your participation helps fund materials and activities provided by the Climax-Scotts PTO. Thank you for your support! Come for the run, stay for more fun! Hang around after the race for the Climax Memorial Day Parade at 10:00, followed by activities at the high school like the classic car show and craft booths. Important Change: Due to the increased amount of activities and traffic, we will be closing streets to ensure the safety of our runners. The Cadillac Rotary Club will host its 28th Annual STRIDE FOR S.T.R.I.V.E. 5k Event on Memorial Day, May 25, hosting hundreds of athletes.  S.T.R.I.V.E. 5k timed participants and student participants will run or walk the course from the east end of Sunset Lane behind the Cadillac Senior Center (across the street from the High School football field) toward Kenwood Park and back along the shoreline of beautiful Lake Cadillac to the finish line at the east end of Sunset Lane behind the Cadillac Senior Center.  Through collaborative efforts by Cadillac Rotarians and other key community members, this event is successfully run each year.

Burton Memorial Day 5k is held at Atherton High School. This event started in the mid 1990s and is still going strong today! 5k Run begins promptly after the National Anthem at 8:30am with the walk beginning at 8:33am. Why a Hot Dog Run? Because it's fun! This Memorial Day, we invite you to join us as we race into summer with the Hot Diggity Dog 5k & 1 Mile Mustard Run! The races kick off at 9:00am with scenic routes that follow our camp trails and paved roads and end with free hot dogs at the finish line! Lace-up for your own personal record or a fun run; this day is for everyone, from speed demons to casual strollers and all levels in between. If you relish the thought of hot dogs in the morning, try our "Run Relish Repeat" challenge! Eat a hot dog after miles 1, 2, and 3, then sprint to the finish line! The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old. All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. The camp will be held from Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025 in Three Oaks, MI. We will swim, bike, and run from various locations within 30 minutes of the resort. Join us for our 9th annual 5k run/walk at Cascades Falls Park! The park is located at 1401 S Brown St, Jackson, MI 49203. Paws in the Park is one of Cascades Humane Society’s largest fundraisers of the year. This is an early-season triathlon and duathlon that is well suited as a training event for the seasoned athlete as well as an entry-level distance for those who are just deciding to plunge into their first event.  There will be an adult sprint triathlon & duathlon with a first wave start at 8 a.m. and two youth divisions (1) U-15 (ages 11-15) and (2) U-10 (7-10) with a first wave start at 11:15 a.m.  The event is centered on Greenville's beautiful Baldwin Lake and features a unique spectator experience from an elevated viewpoint above the lake and transition area on and along the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail.  The entire swim, transition, bike-in, 1/2 mile of the run, and the finish line can all be viewed from a single vantage point.

The Ingham County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section's 11th Annual Paper Chase 5K    We are super excited because it is the 11th Anniversary of the Paper Chase this year! The race will start at Lansing Shuffle and go south along the Lansing River Trail, turn around at the halfway point, and come back. The Ishpeming Township Fire Department is hosting our 2nd Annual ITFD Firefighter Memorial run fundraising event at 1 p.m. on June 7th, 2026 at Westwood High School. The 5K route is on both roads and singletrack. (Rocks and roots on trail) 1 mile walk will be held on the track. Kids fun run will also be held on the track before the start of the 5K and 1 mile walk.  Be sure to bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun while supporting your local volunteer fire department!  First Responder's will receive a special shirt and discount on the race fee. WHO CAN JOIN? This group is open to any child going into 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade for 2026-27 School year.    WHAT IS IT?  This is a fundamentally based running club which will focus on fun exercise and light-hearted competition through team games and activities.  Children are broken into small groups for the “long run”, which ranges from ¼ mile to 2-mile distance (depending on age and ability).   WHEN DO WE MEET? Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30pm to 5pm.   Season dates:  June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, 18.  RAGNAR RACE June 20   WHERE DO WE MEET?  We will meet at HANSON HILLS RECREATION AREA. DIAL-A-RIDE will be arranged for ELY Participants traveling- from the Elementary to Hanson Hills.   Parents must arrange transportation after the program ends at 5pm.   HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? The Mighty Mile is for kids only ages 5 to 14 years old. All runners will receive a T-shirt, Backpack, and a chipped timed accurate mile. Once the runner crosses the finish line they will receive a Mighty Mile Finisher Medal. The race is part of the Michigan Running Foundation Mighty Mile series put on at several locations in Michigan in an effort to encourage our children to run and stay active.
