This 5K run-walk is a family event. The triad to good health includes nutrition, exercise, and stress management. Families that exercise together build a lifestyle that is inherited from generation to generation. On April 12,2025  This race takes place at Lilburn City Park 76 Main street in Lilburn, GA,30047. All participates  please meet up at the Pavilion in the park.   RACEDAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE FROM 7:15 AM TO 8:10 AM FOR $40.00.

RACE DATE: MAY 2ND, 2026 RACE TIME: 8:00AM Join Risley Middle School in their second annual Risley Run and Wildcat Walk! Take your pick on whether you want to RUN or WALK. All proceeds from this event will support Risley Middle School student organizations and athletic teams. The Risley Run is hosted by Risley Middle School FBLA, a student organization that supports the development of well-rounded students.  The 5k run will start at 8:00am and wind through neighborhoods along South Port Parkway. The Start and Finish line will be in front of Risley Middle School. All runners will receive a tshirt. Event will be chipped timed and results posted. Runners and walkers are encouraged to hang around for the Awards Ceremony following the race. Come and join us for the 51st Annual Marigold 10K.  This flat and fast USATF-certified course and Peachtree qualifier (#GA19035DJ) is one of the oldest 10K races in Georgia, second only to the Peachtree 10K.  The race is held as part of the annual Winterville Marigold Festival in Pittard Park. The O4W5K is a run/walk through the streets of the historic Old Fourth Ward benefitting Hope-Hill Elementary, the traditional K-5 public school serving the O4W neighborhood.  The race starts across the street from Ponce City Market, at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward park, and runs throughout the O4W, including Auburn Avenue where the MLK Jr. Historic District is located.  T-SHIRTS: We have the best tees of any other 5K in Atlanta. The Savannah Mile returns for 2026! This highly anticipated race is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday, May 16, as part of National Law Enforcement Week. For over 15 years, this event has served such an important role in fulfilling the organization's mission – to raise vital funds for the families of fallen heroes in our community. The course, beginning at the south end of Forsyth Park, will take participants down Drayton Street and finish up on Broughton Street.  Runners and walkers of all fitness levels are invited to participate in this unique event, which will feature six heats for all ages and abilities, including a “Memory Walk” for the families and friends of fallen heroes to walk the mile in memory of and to honor their loved ones. The last run of the morning will be the “Heroes Heat,” which is open to all first responders and military in full gear or not.
