This is a run/walk event in honor of PFC Zachary M. Martin, USMC who took his life due to PTSD. This 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation raises money to help veterans and discharged military, post service, struggling with PTSD to get the help they need.  There is a $5 registration discount for students, military, and first responders. Racers are chip-timed and photos are available through the Selfie Results TV kiosk as well as a free downloadable photograph as racers cross the finish line. Children 12 and under are free. The 4th Annual Blue Thunder 5K/10K Run/Walk will be a blast as you tour the campus of Arnold High School & Gayle's Trails.  The run will support the award-winning Arnold High School Blue Thunder Band Program as they raise funds for new instruments, music, their spring trip, transportations expenses, and other needed materials. Join us for a morning of fun while supporting our wonderful young musicians. Joyful Motion is a pediatric physical, occupational, speech/language and feeding therapy clinic supporting local children. This is a trail run through the beautiful woods of Colt Creek State Park. Whether you're aiming for a personal best or reveling in the joy of the run, our race at Colt Creek State Park promises an unmatched blend of fitness, camaraderie, and natural beauty. Picture towering pine trees, flat terrains, and serene lakes—all set against the backdrop of pristine wilderness. Our courses are very well marked with signage. Aid stations will be every 2.5 miles. Some will be self-serve and some will have volunteers. On-course restrooms will be at mile 3, 6, and 9.5 of the Half-Marathon and mile 3 of the 10k. Keep our State Parks clean. The Turtle Trot 10k & 5k is held at SunWest Park in Hudson. The course takes you on a paved hiking path around old salt mines. If you've never been to SunWest Park, you're in for a treat!  Participants may run or walk any distance.   Packet Pickup is on Saturday morning from 6:45 am to 7:45 am. A pre-race meeting for both events will begin at 7:50 am.   Every registered participant will receive a finisher award and the top male and female in the timed 10K and 5K will receive an overall award.
