The 10th annual 5K run and 2K walk hosted by Salem County Vo-Tech to honor the memory of Ian Bradley. Ian was an SCVTS graduate who lost his life serving in the US Air Force in 2016. The course, closed to traffic during the race, starts on North 5th Ave by the high school and then heads downhill towards New Brunswick for a fast first mile. The 23rd annual Madison MEF 5K Race will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026. We are excited to have a NEW COURSE this year, which will start on the Madison High School (MHS) track, go through the Madison Recreation Complex (MRC), and include a short trail section around the Madison Community Garden. Peace for Pam is a 5K run/walk created in loving memory of my mom, Pam, who I lost to suicide on May 5th, 2024. This race honors her life, her strength, and the fight she put up every single day. Growing up, my mom brought my little sister Sarah and I to Laurel Acres Park countless times. It was a place filled with laughter, family moments, and simple joys. Holding this race at Laurel Acres Park is a way to celebrate those memories and honor the place that meant so much to her and to us. All proceeds will be donated to support suicide prevention efforts, education, and advocacy. The 11th Annual Run The Hook 5K/10K returns to Sandy Hook National Park, NJ on May 10th, 2026 in support of local non-profit Clean Ocean Action. The North Jersey Masters is offering bus transportation to and from the NYRR Brooklyn Half Marathon.  There are 50 seats available on a first come, first serve basis. Priority registration will be given to members. Cost is $65.00 per person. Discounted rate of $55.00 for NJM members. Join us in celebrating our dad’s 62nd birthday the best way we know how, by moving together.  This 5K event is focused on stroke awareness in honor of our father, who suffered a stroke five years ago and continues to face ongoing challenges.  This event is partnered with KABLE (The Korean American Brothers & Sisters in Law Enforcement). The 5k not only to raise awareness but also to bring the community together in support of individuals and families affected by stroke. It’s something very close to our hearts, and we am putting a lot into making it impactful. Donations will be going to a Rehabilitation Facility for Stroke Recovery. Walk it. Run it. Push it. Peggy's Run is a 5K Run/Walk to benefit the Peggy Zetterstrom Memorial Music Scholarship at Belvidere High School.

The Marine Corps Run for Freedom will provide assistance to veterans. Proceeds from the run will go to the Marine Raiders Foundation, the Semper Fi Fund, and the Philip A. Reynolds Marine Corps League Detachment. The race route is a loop through Freehold Township, New Jersey that starts and ends at iPlay America. The terrain is relatively flat and on wide streets. The race is chip timed. Participants can choose to Run, Walk or Ruck. There is also a Veterans Only Division available to Active Duty Military Personnel and Veterans. Marcus Kayal Legacy4Life brings you the 4th annual Miles4Marcus fundraising challenge.  Marcus Kayal was a Mahwah High School student and member of the Boys Soccer family who passed away in December of 2019.  Marcus had a passion for the game of soccer and always pushed himself to play at the highest level. While he exceled in sport, Marcus was a young man who also put a tremendous amount of focus towards his academics and was highly respectful to all people that he interacted with. On the field, Marcus wore #4. The name of the event, and its purpose are designed to reflect the values that Marcus brought to the community and soccer program, on and off the field. The Maywood Rotary along with other Maywood community organizations are holding a 5K race that will celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary to be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. This year the proceeds will help support the Maywood July 4th parade. It will also create a scholarship fund for Maywood high school seniors starting in 2027.

We are excited to announce we are planning for the 2nd Annual Gaudreau 5K and Family Fun Day.  Please check back for more updates and information regarding the planned events! The 2nd Annual Gaudreau 5K and Family Fun Day will take place at Washington Lake Park in Sewell, NJ on May 16, 2026, beginning at 8 AM. The event includes a chip-timed 5K race, a 2 Mile Fun "Walk & Roll", a Kid's Dash, a Diaper Dash and a Corn Hole tournament. The Family Fun Day includes music, games, All Star Dance performances, face-painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, inflatable activities for toddlers and children, yoga, raffle baskets, and food and beverage sales. The “Boots on The Ground” race consists of a 5k family-oriented, pet-friendly, fun walk or run, as well as a more demanding 10k run (twice around the 5k course) starting at 9:00 AM with an Honor Guard Salute. The 13th Annual Greta’s Run for Imagine will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Roosevelt Intermediate School in Westfield, New Jersey. This year’s event will feature a USATF-certified 5K race at 9:00AM, followed by a Kids Fun Run at 10:00AM and conclude with a Memory Walk at 10:30AM.  History of the Event Greta’s Run was founded in 2012 in memory of Greta Schoenemann, a Westfield High School freshman who tragically died after sustaining injuries when a tree branch fell on her and her classmates during lunch.
