Hahns Peak Vertical Trail Race

Clark, CO
Welcome to another year of epic fun, memories and vertical, with the Hahns Peak Hill Climb. This is an 8 mile out and back trail run that starts at the Quarry Lot (FS550 + HWY 129) north of Hahns Peak Village, CO. The EPIC course runs 4 miles up to the top of Hahns Peak and the fire lookout tower built in 1912. The final push to the summit is dominated by a talus slope. Racers will turnaround at the tower, following the trail 4 miles back down to the finish line.  This trail race is an event that started in 2017 at the base of Hahns Peak in North Routt County. Running this course started with a few hardcore North Routt locals meeting at the beautiful Cabins at Historic Columbine every 4th of July. From there, they would race to the summit and fire outlook of Hahns Peak, once an active volcano with an elevation of 10,839 & 360 degree panoramic views like no other. HRCA Rocky Gulch Circuit

The Highlands Ranch Mountain Bike (MTB) Series takes place on four Wednesdays throughout May-August. Each Wednesday night features a different route. All four races take place in our beautiful and pristine Backcountry Wilderness Area, with the first three taking place on our Highlands Point Trail System and the fourth on our Wildcat Mountain Trail System. Mountain bike racers of all abilities are welcome! All categories are for men and women. This course consists of two five-mile loops running clockwise for a total length of 10 miles. Women's Specific High Trails Trail Running Retreat

Escape to the mountains this summer for a long weekend of trail running, hiking, and connection in beautiful with a group of women who get it. We'll be based in a riverside home in Buena Vista, Colorado—just steps from Main Street, local trails, and surrounded by the kind of mountain views that make you remember why you do this. Each day, we'll head out for an adventure on the trails, with options ranging from 10–20 miles depending on your goals and how you're feeling. Some will run, some will hike, and many will do a mix — there's no "right" way to move through the mountains, and no pressure to perform. The highlight of the camp will be a group hike/run on Hope Pass or one of the 14ers in the Sawatch range (final itinerary based on the group and weather). We'll close out the weekend with a shorter shakeout run before heading home. The Grin & Bear It is Crested Butte’s oldest trail challenge. Historically presented as a sprint to Green Lake and back, this classic event has evolved to offer a 25k Loop competition while still maintaining the traditional 15k race. New in 2025, the Grin and Bear it BIKE! This route will follow the 25k run route, excluding the .7 miles to Green Lake and back. This challenging route is roughly 14.83 miles with just under 4k feet of climbing.   Note- there is minimal swag and no podium awards for this event.

The race uses a handicap start system, slow-to-fast, spread over ~10 minutes. This gives everyone a chance to win. Expedition Maroon Bells

We invite you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. Freedom Fighters are a community of people passionate about ending human exploitation through prevention, response, and recovery. By joining the Expedition RISE Maroon Bells , YOU are a part of making someone’s freedom story possible. Together, the Maroon Bells team will train for 5 months, the team collectively will fundraise $30,000*, and trek approximately 28 miles in 2 days. Supported by experienced team leadership, you will receive resources and encouragement through your personal training and fundraising experience. Freedom Fighters will trek through the Maroon Bells - Snow Mass Wilderness in Colorado in recognition of the ability we have to RISE and make a difference in human exploitation. The team will hike from Aspen to Crested Butte on July 20th 2026, and will hike back to Aspen on July 21, 2026. Each participant is expected to raise a minimum of $1,500.  Registration is partially refundable (50%) before March 15.

Spring Creek Memorial Trail Run

Steamboat Springs, CO
The race is held on the beautiful Spring Creek trail with wildflowers and Aspen trees next to bubbling Spring Creek. The 9.5 mile race is run on an up and down scenic loop on primitive trail, two track, single track and briefly on forest service road. This course gains ~1,750 ft. in the first 4 miles with most of that being from mile 2-4. This section of the race takes the runner up unimproved rocky and narrow single track and over several large downed trees before it descends on a smooth rolling downhill trail. The 5K race is an out and back on the beautiful Spring Creek trail on rolling two track and single track. Come out for a great day of running, a prize drawing and an even better post-race meal made by Freshies. This race is held in memory of Patty Brenner Hagberg who was struck and killed by a truck along the lower part of the trail in 1991. This race should remind all of us the importance of sharing multi-purpose use trails.

Never Summer 100km & 60km

Walden, CO
The Never Summer 100km, 60km and Dirty Double 100 miler will take place almost entirely within the boundaries of State Forest State Park and run between the Never Summer Mountains on the northern border of Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) and the Medicine Bow Mountains to the north of Cameron Pass. The first 20 miles of each race will offer a tour of the peaks and alpine lakes of the northern Never Summer Mountains, before the route crosses below Cameron Pass and heads north into the southern Medicine Bow Mountains for more peaks and lakes over the final miles. Cameron Pass sits at the top of the iconic Poudre Canyon and near the headwaters of the Cache La Poudre River, almost exactly halfway between Fort Collins and Steamboat Springs (1.5 hours either way), an hour south of Laramie, WY, and 2.5 – 3 hours from Denver. This is a mountain race in the truest sense of the term, with extended periods of high alpine ridge running, two alpine peaks, and five alpine lakes visited along the

Ryan, a Mountain View High School graduate, was an integral part of the Cross Country and Track teams, helping lead the Mountain View Boys to victory in the 2016 State Track Championship. Ryan's courage, determination, and spirit, especially in his battle with brain cancer, continue to inspire all who knew him. This race is more than just a competition; it's a celebration of Ryan's life and legacy. The Hero's Journey 5K

The 7/20 Foundation is proud to present the 5th annual Hero’s Journey 5k Run/Walk. This race makes its way through Aurora's City Center and the High Line canal trail with a start and finish in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden. For those over 21, this race includes admission into the 7/20 Foundation's annual beer festival.      The Hero's Journey represents any person who faces a challenge, encounters struggles to overcome it, and returns home a Hero. We hope this 5k is a transformative experience as you run/walk together; whether you are a veteran runner or this is your first 5k. We chose to start the run across from the theater and end in the 7/20 Memorial Reflection Garden as your return home/finish line to honor the journey from tragedy to hope. The Blue Sky Hill Climb is an iconic ride up the highest paved road in North America. We close the road to the top for your safety and viewing pleasure. World Championship Pack Burro Race

The first year of the World Championship Pack Burro Race in 1949 saw 21 entrants with only 8 finishing the race. These days there are nearly 100 racers and burros that take on this historic challenge. Some choose the “lower altitude” short course of approximately 12.3 miles while others take on the long course and attempt the grueling climb to the top of Mosquito Pass and back, 29+ miles and an elevation change of 3,232'! The racers start at 9,953 feet in Fairplay with long course runners hitting their halfway point at the top of Mosquito Pass, elevation 13,185'! The Highlands Ranch Mountain Bike (MTB) Series takes place on four Wednesdays throughout May-August. Each Wednesday night features a different route. All four races take place in our beautiful and pristine Backcountry Wilderness Area, with the first three taking place on our Highlands Point Trail System and the fourth on our Wildcat Mountain Trail System. The Wild West Relay covers 200 scenic miles, with 36 legs, beginning in the foothills of beautiful Fort Collins before sending runners deep into the heart of the Rocky Mountains, over two mountain passes and finishing in Steamboat Springs, CO.  This life changing relay road race is a team-oriented adventure with experiences and views you'll never forget.
