This year the walk will be held in 3 seperate locations including Washington DC where the first event of the year will be held. That event will be on April 18th. The second walk will be held along the Macomb Orchard Trail on May 2nd with the Holland walk on May 16th being the last one of 2026. We are so honored to partner with our family, friends, and neighbors to stand together in this fight that many of our veterans battle alone. Join us in 1 or all 3 events and help us save lives. Our Macomb walk will take place along the Macomb Orchard Trail in Richmond, Michigan.   The Macomb Orchard Trail walk starts at the trailhead across the street from Richmond High School.  This event is an out and back trek.

2026 Annual Burns Park Run

Winding through a beautiful Ann Arbor neighborhood near the University of Michigan campus, the tree-lined Burns Park Run loop course has been a favorite of beginner and world-class runners alike. The Burns Park Run will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2026.  It is a long-standing and successful fundraiser, organized and run by volunteers, that supports Burns Park Elementary PTO programs.  We are excited to celebrate our 48th anniversary this year.  Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, the Burns Park Run 5K and 10K races annually draw 1,000 to 1,500 runners aged 5 to 90 years, with over 200 elementary school kids running the 5K.  For the youngest of participants, there is a separate 1/2 mile Fun Run around the park. What: A coach-led 12 week training program designed for those running the half marathon distance.    Who: Anyone that can comfortably run a 5K can join this training program.
