Join us for our 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5k and kids mile fun run! Race will run through the streets of Luna Pier, Michigan, beginning and ending at the Luna Pier lighthouse! Bobbie’s Staff is a non-profit established to ease food insecurity within our local communities. This event will help fund weekend food bags for students in need at Mason Consolidated Schools. Children 18 and under will be able to run the mile at no cost. We believe all children deserve nutrition, acceptance and dignity no matter their circumstances. Take in the 1 mile holiday lights display through the Merry Mile on foot this year during the Eggnog Jog family fun run and walk. Warm up after with hot chocolate and eggnog (obviously) and visit with Santa. The event takes places at the Calhoun County Fairgrounds, Wednesday, December 2nd at 6:00 pm. Join us as we take to the small town streets of Bellaire to bring some Jolly Joy. This event is a run/walk event that will be officially timed with finisher medals and participant t-shirts. The Tinsel Toes 5k, brought to you by Cereal City Athletics, is a family fun run that weaves through the beautiful Festival of Lights in Downtown Battle Creek. So, Dashing will benefit the Barb Smith Suicide Resource & Response Network with proceeds being donated to assist in creating social change in mental health and overall wellness with the goal of decreasing suicides, increasing help seeking behavior and caring for those impacted by suicide. The following are examples (but not limited to) of reasons an event might be canceled that are NOT within our control: Dangerous weather; natural disasters; pandemics; acts of terrorism; local emergencies; government mandates; and any situation creating a threat to safety of participants, volunteers, staff or bystanders. Should a registrant have an injury or other medical issue keeping them from competing in an event they've registered for, we would be happy to transfer their registration to a similar Dig Deep-owned event up to and including the same event the following season. A doctor's slip may be required as proof of injury or ailment. Failure to provide proof if requested will result in non-transfer of the event. Transferring registrations to other participants is NOT allowed*. *Should event sell out, Organizers MAY - at their discretion - implement a cancellation process. The Goodbye New Year's Eve series is in it's 12th year and new day- December 30th! We wanted runners to have more options for racing at years end!
