Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Each year, the Sarcoma Foundation of America raises awareness and funds for much-needed research, through RTCS events across the country. Mary graduated with honors from this program in 2021. Her kind and generous spirit made her a perfect fit for her profession. In the fall of 2022 Mary was eagerly anticipating the birth of her first child. Her daughter was born in late October but tragically Mary suffered a fatal stroke days later. This scholarship is a way for family and friends of Mary to find purpose and meaning in this horrible tragedy. She would be proud to know that efforts are being made in her name to support parents attempting to improve life for their children.

Parker PTO is very excited to be hosting the annual Parker Pride Run for a community-building/fundraiser event. This is a community race supporting youth fitness at Chelmsford Middle School. Net proceeds from this event will be used to fund new gym equipment, indoor/outdoor recess activities, and enrichment programs for all 5th and 6th graders in Chelmsford. The Surf Drive Mile (formerly the "Main Street Mile") is a 1-Mile race along Surf Drive that finishes at the Surf Drive Beach House. The race is intended for all levels of runners and walkers; for fast runners who want to run a competitive mile and slower runners and walkers who want a more leisurely event. There will be one start with the faster runners positioned up front. For safety reasons, any baby strollers/joggers must start at the back. Slower runners, small children and walkers will also be asked to line up near the back. Children under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult who is registered to run  the race.  Toilet facilities will be available at the start/finish line area.  Directions: To the Surf Drive Beach House (for number pickup and race day  registration): Take Rte. 28 from either direction into Falmouth to Main Street,  turn south on Walker St. or Shore St. to the Surf Drive Beach House. Rescheduled: The 4K scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd was postponed due to weather and has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 26. There are additional spots available for individual runners and corporate teams. The new registration deadline is Friday, June 20. The 4K Trail Run is the most unique race in Boston! Taking place on Cathleen Stone Island in the Boston Harbor, teams and individual runners will enjoy an afternoon and evening with their coworkers and friends. Join us for an early morning annual Memorial Day weekend run or walk in memory of Scott Procopio who was killed in action 20 years ago in Ramadi, Iraq on April 2nd. Each of the last 6 years this event has continued to raise more than $25K that is allocated to High School seniors furthering their education.

Are you signed up for Ironman 70.3 Western Mass or just interested in riding the course? Join Team Mossman on May 23th when we ride the course.Before we start the ride, we will divide into pace groups. The ride will be a non-drop ride. All riders should be able to average at least 14 MPH.

The Saint Catherine of Siena Home & School Association is excited to invite you to the 2026 5K Road Race. Operation Mohawk Tactical 2 brings together two powerful challenges the Mohawk Medevac and the Honor & Remember 5-Miler for a single unified day of strength, remembrance, and purpose. The second annual Live Free Fun Run and Festival will be hosted on May 31st, 2026 at Ice House Park (Sturgis Street) at Horn Pond, Woburn MA 01801. The event is focused on promoting awareness and empowerment surrounding mental health and substance use. The scenic 2.5 mile off-road run (or walk!) brings participants around Horn Pond, and will start and end at the Live Free Festival. At the festival, you will find food trucks, raffles, a DJ, yard games, kids' activities and more! There will also be over 25 local mental health and substance use providers hosting tables to spread awareness about their mission and services. Join use for a day of empowerment, community and fun!

We kick off the excitement for the 5k and 10k just past the Post Office on Smith St. 5k runners will dash down Atlantic Avenue to Seaview, then make a right onto Humphrey Street, ending at our finish line at Marblehead High School. As for our 10k challengers, you'll start at the Post Office too, but hang a left on Atlantic, take a scenic loop around the Neck, and finish strong at the High School. Partnered with the Boston Bruins Foundation, the Healing Heroes Foundation is the host of the country’s largest first responder hockey tournament, the BFit Heroes Cup. The BFit Heroes Cup is a weekend long event designed to bring firefighters, EMS personnel, law enforcement, and military members together to raise money and awareness for multiple charities. With 110 teams, 2,000 players, and 10,000+ spectators, the mission of the Hero’s Cup Foundation is to promote first responder mental health. Squirrel Run XXVIIThe 28th Annual Jimmy Kennedy Memorial Run for ALS, (The Squirrel Run XXVI), includes a 5K run, 5k fitness walk and family fun day which will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at Pageant Field, Merrymount Parkway in Quincy.  Proceeds from the Squirrel Run will benefit The Angel Fund for ALS Research. The Wellfleet Sprint Triathlon is picturesque, challenging -- and fun! A 1/4-mile swim in the clear waters of a Cape Cod "kettle pond"; a 10-mile bike through the rolling hills of the Cape Cod National Seashore; and a 3-mile run past the famed Beachcomber restaurant and back. The paved bike/run course, traversing a natural pine forest, will be closed to vehicular traffic. The race benefits non-profit radio station WOMR 92.1FM and Outer Cape Health. This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event with a USAT certified Race Director.

This year's Road of Rainbows will occur on Saturday, June 6th, at the Brewer Fountain at the Boston Common. It will mark the SIXTH annual running of Boston Theater Company's Road of Rainbows - the first athletic event of its kind in Massachusetts, where gender has no bounds. The Town Day Road Race is a fundraiser for the Winchester Foundation for Educational Excellence (WFEE). All monies raised support public school educators and students through grants to encourage creativity and innovation. Run or walk, the Race is a fun, family centered event.
