5k description   This race is put on two high school seniors, at Loganville Christian Academy, for their senior project. The race will be held on April 19th, 2026 at Loganville Christian Academy’s XC course. Due to the fact that the course isn’t flat, it is not suitable for strollers and runners should expect to run up and downhill. The first 1000$ covers the cost put on the event. All proceeds after that go to Emory Win-shape, specifically for helping patients afford their cancer treatment. The Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma will be hosting its 5th Annual 5K for Kappie! This event is being held in honor of our late sorority sister, Catherine Williams, who passed away on June 2nd, 2020 after a courageous 13-month battle with osteosarcoma. Catherine Williams was 18 years old, and a recent graduate of North Atlanta High School. She was admitted to and excited to attend the University of Georgia in the fall of 2020. In the week before her death, Catherine accepted an early bid and was initiated into the Delta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma as a double legacy. All proceeds from this event will go to CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research while supporting patients and their families devastated by a childhood cancer diagnosis.  We look forward to this opportunity to celebrate the extraordinary life of Catherine Williams.

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. The 2026 Boulder Dash 5K Race is a unique race in Forsyth County, Georgia. The course winds through an active quarry, offering participants views of the working quarry face, ancient rock deposits, and massive equipment used to process, move and manage the rock. Since this is an active quarry, there will be no dogs allowed in the race this year. The Race to End the Cycle is a fundraiser for Called to Care, but most importantly, it's a chance to raise awareness and community support for children and their families in foster care. The Galloway Run is inspired by our founder, Elliott Galloway, who believed deeply in the connection of the mind, body, and spirit. He envisioned a school where students would grow not only academically, but physically and personally as well. Formerly known as Elliott’s Run, this community-wide event honors both Elliott Galloway and his son, Olympic runner Jeff Galloway, in celebration of wellness, grit, and togetherness. The day will include a 5K race, a one-mile fun run, games, prizes, music, and activities for all ages. It is more than a race; it's a celebration of the strength and spirit of our school community. All proceeds from The Galloway Run support the Galloway Fund, which provides essential resources that enhance every student’s experience.
