Welcome! I’m your Race Director, Tom Wilkas. We are pleased to bring you both the original Pat Griskus Sprint Triathlon, which started in 1987, and the Olympic distance race, which was conceived in 2002. Since then, we have also added a duathlon and a second sprint triathlon run concurrently with the Olympic triathlon. A series of ten progressively longer races, held at various locations throughout the Town of Westport. We're happy to announce the 64th annual Roadrunners Summer Series! Once again, we will be using the follow protocols: There will be no in-person race day registration on paper forms. Online registration will remain open until the start time. Runners should register before arriving at the race site, or on their phones when they get there (scan the QR code on the sandwich board sign), then check in with other pre-registered runners. Once again, we will utilize ChronoTrack chip timing technology for all races. This will give all runners a net or "chip" time based on when they cross the start, and will have the added benefit of almost instant results. Racks are first come, first serve, waves are male/female, and there is a relay division as well.  The 600 yard lake swim is followed by a 2 loop bike course with rolling hills. The 5K run is a beautiful course around the lake which has a few small inclines and downhill the last mile. July 4- The 48th annual Four-on the-Fourth road race sponsored by the Chester Rotary Club will start at 9 AM Friday July 4 Runners can register with RunSignup.com from March 1. The Adult fees are $35 through May 26; $40 from May 27 through race day. Flat fee for Children age 16 and under is $15. The race loops through the village of Chester and is USATF sanctioned. Timing will be provided by Super Race Systems. Team and individual awards will be presented. The race is a major fund raiser for the Chester Rotary. The Milford Road Runners are excited for the return to Tribus Beer Co for the 2026 Independence Day 5K!!The race will be held on July 4th, 2026 at 9:30am and there’s no better way to spend your holiday than by running a 5K and celebration afterparty! The The Petit Family 5k Road Race began in early 2008 by two brothers, Robert and Gary Heslin, who were classmates of Dr. William A. Petit, Jr. at Plainville High School, class of 1974. Together the three of them ran cross-country and track & field. In response to Dr. Petit’s request to do good things for others and to carry on the legacy of his wife and daughters, lifelong runners Robert and Gary decided that a USATF-certified 5k, point-to-point course would be the best option they could offer. There is also a 1.3mi Fitness Walk. On behalf of the Petit Family 5k Road race, the Petit Family Foundation has awarded over $4.5 million in grants to programs and projects all over Connecticut, as well as the American Northeast and all across the United States.

This is a family friendly 5K Run/Walk event in honor of Ryan French. Ryan was a resident of Thompson and a student in the Ag-Ed Program at Killingly High School. Ryan was also an avid runner on the KHS Cross Country and Track Teams. The proceeds from this race will be going into the Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund which provides Scholarships to well deserving Killingly Ag-Ed Seniors going onto higher education. The race course uses off-road paths that may have exposed rocks and roots which could be a trip hazard to participants. For 6 weeks, young athletes across Rhode Island and Massachusetts have been swimming, biking, and running toward this one incredible goal!  This finale event brings together participants from Race4Chase programs across both states to celebrate their hard work, determination, and confidence gained throughout the summer. It’s more than a race, it’s a powerful celebration of youth achievement, healthy living, and community support. While this event is exclusively for Race4Chase participants and not open to public registration, we need enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a safe, smooth, and unforgettable experience for every child crossing that finish line.  All race participants will receive a complimentary USA Triathlon Youth annual membership. Connecticut's Oldest Shoreline Road Race!  The Ocean Beach Kelley Half Marathon is ran over a well marked/supported road course with panoramic vistas of Long Island Sound and rural roads in the City of New London and Town of Waterford.  Starting and finishing at Beautiful Ocean Beach Park.  The race is FREE, runners are asked to bring a donation of food for the Gemma E. Registration and course start will be on the track.  After one loop on the track, we will run 1/2 mile on quiet dead end streets on the school campus, before moving into the trails (mix of single- and  double track). Lions Club of Beacon Falls is hosting the Jills Race for MS on August 15th at 9:30 am. $25 entry fee for adults $10 for 16 and Under Certified 5k course for walkers and runners! ***All net proceeds will be donated to the Griffin Hospital MS physical therapy department to go towards the purchase of a "Lite Gait" which helps MS patients with their physical therapy with respect to walking!*** 8 am registration, 9:30 am start at Pent Rd Recreational Complex Trophies to top male and female finisher and medals for top 3 male and female in each age group

4.2 Miles- South St, Wellers Bridge, Down/up Hemlock Active duty military/veterans and active first responders are encouraged to contact the race for a discount.

Join us at Elm Ridge Park for a 2M Trail Run to support the Rocky Hill Fire Department and Rocky Hill Library. All abilities are welcome!
