Spring Break is around the corner!  Start off your fun break by challenging yourself to do the Cub 5k Run/Walk!  Community members, families, and non-CSDR students ages 13+ will register and pay the $10 race sign-up fee (per person). CSDR staff, students, and volunteers are free and do NOT need to register. All are encouraged to donate to help support our PE Department.  Proceeds will go towards the purchase of new PE equipment.  Our goal this year is to raise $1,000! Here is how it works: FOR FAMILIES of CSDR Students; 1. Register to secure your spot. Click on the Sign Up button. 2. Feeling generous? Make a donation to the CSDR Physical Education Department. Click on the "Donate" button at the top right of this screen. 3. Run/walk the distance with your family/co-workers/classmates on the CSDR campus. 4. The City of Port Hueneme and the Port of Hueneme are co-hosting the “Sea Slash Color Dash 5K and Kids 1K” event, which is set to occur on Saturday, March  21, 2026, at Hueneme Beach. Participation in the 5K is $25 a runner, with the race beginning at 9:00 am sharp, and the Kids 1K is $10 per child that will begin at 10:30 am sharp. All registered participants will receive a bib, t-shirt, and medal. The Lucky Run is a March race celebrating the start of spring. Race distances include a 2K, 5K, 7K, 10K and Kids Fun Runs. Events start and finish at Davis High School in North Davis (adjacent to Community Park). The 2026 event will be held in the gym parking lot off Oak Avenue. Loop courses travel along city streets, along bike paths and through residential neighborhoods. This is a vendor registration page for the 2025 Lucky Run, taking place on Saturday, March 29 at Davis High School. Vendor booths are 10' by 10'. Tents, tables, tablecloths and other items to be supplied by vendor. A site map and one-sheet will be emailed out on approximately March 24. We anticipate 700-800 participants for this year's event. The vendor area will be set up in the gym parking lot next to the school’s stadium.

CEEF & CUSD 2026 Run for Great Schools 5K + Kids Dash! Since 2015 this fun event brings CUSD staff, students, parents, and neighbors together to celebrate school pride, wellness, and community while supporting TK-8 grade education. All proceeds benefit all 23 Cupertino Union School District TK–8 schools, helping fund classroom programs, enrichment opportunities, and resources.

Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian. Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. On completion of the course, participants receive a Navy Sailing Qualification Card.
