ORRC Best Dam Run - 10K

Estacada, OR
Come run or walk the Best Dam Run! This point-to-point 10K course features views of pristine waters, shading forests, interesting geology and bald eagles, osprey and colorful waterfowl. Participants are bused approximately 6 miles east of Estacada to the North Fork Lake start. The course meanders along the wild and scenic Clackamas River for most of your journey to the downtown Estacada finish line.   Post-race food and awards will take place near the finish line at SE 4th Ave and Broadway.  After your event you can also stroll along the shops and venues of Estacada. This event is limited to 750 entrants so don't wait and register now!

For more information, visit our website at www.SouthCoastRunningClub.org Located roughly 20 miles south of Coos Bay, the region’s first single-track trail system is open year-round to mountain bikers, but for the first time ever will be reserved for those of us who shred at running pace.  We’ll start and finish at the main Whiskey Run Trailhead.  Our chosen section of Whiskey Run is shaded and sheltered, which means these trails are rolling, smooth, and oh so loamy. USARA Adventure Race National Championships

Bend, OR
For more than 25 years, the annual USARA Adventure Race National Championships have seen some of the best teams from across the nation come together to compete in a non-stop, 30-hour adventure race. Many of these teams have to push the boundaries of human endurance and teamwork just to finish. Winning requires extreme willpower, mastery across disciplines, and sometime a little luck.  When the race ends, teams come together for an evening meal. We announce the national champions, crown the winners of the national points series, and celebrate the amazing adventure racing community.  The 2026 race is limited to teams of four in three divisions:  mixed gender, all-women, all-men.  There is not a separate masters division, though the top masters teams from across all divisions will be recognized. Race check-in will be Thursday, October 22, 2026. The 30-hour race will start Friday morning, October 23, 2026, and end Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2026. Priority registration opens January 1,

Eola Hills "No Hills" 5K/10K

Proceeds from the Eola Hills "No Hills" run will be shared by the Track and field and cross-country programs at Dallas HS and Central HS. This is a very fun and popular event that is capped at 350 racers. New for 2026: Race is chip timed and you get a souvenir wine glass. ***IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE*** Parking at the event location fills fast, and parking is NOT be available at the Polk County Fairgrounds. Please carpool if possible. We have overflow parking about 1/4 mile south of Eola in a field. There will be race day registration (exact cash amount is requested) and we can take credit/debit. Please arrive early to get your information on the roster. Day of Race 10k=$60, 5k=$55 Check-in on race morning will open at 7:00am. Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot Run

We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include Shoes for Kids (provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes), KidsRunFree (provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under), and XC Project (provides timing support for schools during cross country season). Mac's Run

Hilly and challenging course with breathtaking ocean views. The race is entirely on paved roads.   For both courses, runners loop through Shore Acres heading out (south), and run straight back on the return (north). 5K Course Map 10K Course Map Note that students are $5.00.  Please use the coupon code Student2022 to register.  To avoid credit-card fees, you will not be charged at check-out.  Please bring $5.00 (exact change appreciated) to registration! Starting Oct 1, 2025, all vehicles require a parking pass (cost is per vehicle, not per runner).  Cost of a day pass is $10 for in-state or $12 for out-of-state.  Daily passes are available at a kiosk near registration with a QR code using your phone.  We are working with the parks to see if we can sell them as part of registration, but details have not been worked out yet.  Annual state park passes are $30 for one year and $50 for two years.  They can be purchased at the gift shop at Shore Acres or on-line.  FYI, the price will double

So, we thought it would be a fun treat before Christmas to stuff their pantry full of cereal goodness! We also hosted a can food drive at our Turkey Trot for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds went to them as well so don't worry, we made sure they had other food items.  Option 2: $13 online or $15 day of (cash or check only) which will also be donated to the SOU Student Food Pantry. Resolution Relay: B.Y.O.B. Bring Your Own Baton

This race allows you to set your goals and Resolutions for 2027 and have fun doing it!  This race is a Half Marathon Relay done in teams of 4, 3, 2, or 1.  With the team of 3, one member will run two legs and the other two members will run one leg. First place awards to male/female/mixed relay teams in each group and male, female and non-binary individual. Costume contest for each relay group ( 4 person, 3 person, 2 person and individual).  YOU MUST SUBMIT A PICTURE OF YOUR TEAM IN FULL COSTUME TO @resolutionrelaybyob on Instagram THE MORNING OF THE RACE FOR JUDGING!
