Join us Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. for our fourth annual 5K and 1 mile run/walk.  Trail to Recovery, Inc. is a non-profit organization created to support the recovery community in Cleveland County.  Proceeds will benefit Cleveland County recovery court programs as well as other local organizations who provide substance abuse and mental health services. 5K registration includes:  a custom t-shirt (guaranteed for registrations prior to April 15, 2026), custom finisher medal, bib, timing chip. 1 mile fun run registration includes: a custom finisher medal, bib and timing chip, t-shirts available for purchase. Information US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. The Fort Gibson American Legion and Trail of Honor Flags will host the 6th Annual Trail of Honor 5k & Fun Run on May 23rd in Fort Gibson.  Trail of Honor Flags incorporated was founded in 2019 to continue and expand the efforts of American Legion volunteers who have put temporary flags from HWY 62 to the National Memorial Cemetery.  The goal is Trail of Honor, and this event, is to make those flags permanent, which will consist of 300 flag poles each with a 5x8 American Flag.  Runners will have a option of carrying a flag throughout the race.  When registering, you will be asked about this, so please respond with a yes if you would like to carry a flag.  By participating in this event you will help this cause and will honor our current and past service members as you run through the flags on Memorial Day weekend.  This event has grown by approximately 25 runners each year and our goal is to get to 500, so thank you for coming back or considering this run for the 1st time.    Please

US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. One of Tulsa's oldest Trail races - dating way back to 2004!  A Labor Day tradition. Two race distances to choose from - a challenging 5 mile course or the shorter and less technical 2 mile course.  Both races start and finish at the lower parking lot of Turkey Mountain.  All entrants will receive a race t-shirt as well as a finisher medal for each race.  Escape is the THIRD (and final) race in our annual year long series of trail races at Turkey Mountain - called the "Turkey Triple." Other races in the series include Trail Madness (March) and the Trail Nut 5k and 1 mile races (June). Those in the series receive an additional special medal for each race. We will be hosting the 16th annual “Half Marathon”, 10k, and 5k run/walk in recognition and remembrance of the nineteen brothers and one sister from its ranks who made the ultimate sacrifice since September 11, 2001.  The race course is located in Oklahoma City, OK, at the OKC river trail, to facilitate a larger participant population.  The twenty fallen heroes will be honored individually with recognition beginning at the Starting Line, then at each mile marker along the 13.1-mile course, and finally at the finish line.  A banner will be placed at each of the 15 points highlighting one of the warriors with a photo and a brief bio detailing their lives and sacrifices. *This is not a sanctioned race.*

Ahoy, mateys! Hoist the colors and join us for the Talk Pirate to Me 5K/10K/Half Marathon, a swashbuckling adventure on the run celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day all month long. Whether you're a seasoned captain or a landlubber just looking for some fun, gather your crew and set sail for a race filled with pirate spirit, treasure, and plenty of "Arrr's!" Choose your quest—5K, 10K, or Half Marathon—and chart your course to the finish line. Every buccaneer who successfully walks the plank and crosses the finish line will earn a custom finisher medal worthy of any pirate's treasure chest. We're headed to the Lake Stanely Draper in Oklahoma City, OK for an 8:00 am start, and hitting the trail to celebrate the pirate in you. Come out dressed in your favorite pirate garb (and some running shoes), and we'll hit the trail instead of walking the plank. Awards will be presented in all three distances to the top three male and female finishers in our traditional five-year age groups, giving pirates of all ages a chance to claim their share of the booty. So dust off your eye patches, practice your pirate lingo, and come celebrate a month of high-seas fun. There be treasure waiting at the finish line! Arrr you ready? Talk Pirate to Me!

US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Please plan for the weather, bring anything you may want between laps, and check in with race staff if you need help. Have you been dreaming of running the Boston Marathon? Need to shave a few minutes off your qualifying time? Or maybe you're just looking for the perfect course to set a new PR? Whether Boston is your goal or not, the Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon is for you. We're racing around the loop at Route 66 Park, and the course is a 1-mile super flat & super fast loop!  The Full Marathon is USATF Certified making it a Boston Qualifier! This event is uniquely designed for serious runners. We will have water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table. Participants are welcome to bring their own personalized aid to place on the aid tables, allowing you to grab exactly what you need each time you pass. Many runners even bring a cheer crew to help hand out fuel and keep the motivation high throughout the race. To maintain the best possible experience, this is intentionally a small, focused event, capped at just 75 participants. We will have a great race shirt and finisher
