Join us this year for the 19th Annual Traverse City Turkey Trot presented by 4Front Credit Union! This race has been a place of joy, family, friends (furry ones too), and a place where memories and traditions are made. The Traverse City Turkey Trot team does its best to treat the course before race day. However, due to the unpredictable November Northern Michigan weather; all runners participate at their own risk.

Join us on Thanksgiving morning for a 3 mile fun run around Hayden Park. Strollers are welcome, though parts of the course can be difficult to navigate with larger strollers. RACE FEE: There is a race fee this year to cover post-race snacks and to provide hot coffee for our volunteer course monitors! RACE DAY: There will be no race bibs or packet pick-up. Just show up to the start line before the gun goes off! There will be a large timer at the finish line, so keep your eyes open when you're finishing so you can catch your time! The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful, wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawassee River. The 1m Youth Run is a Single loop in the back of the park. Parking Parking is available at The Mart Dock, Downtown Muskegon, and the City of Muskegon Parking Lot east/ across the street from Pigeon Hill. Pigeon Hill's parking lot will be closed for the event. Course The start/finish is at Pigeon Hill Brewers Lounge. The route heads west on the Lakeshore Bike Trail toward Adelaide Point. At the halfway point, participants will return back to the Brewers Lounge following the same route in reverse. If you're up to the challenge, there is an optional "Turkey Leg" that will take athletes up and down the Coles Bakery hill. Tackling this leg will add 0.4 miles of distance to your run/walk. Reach the top of the hill to claim your prize. The Turkey Leg is just after the turnaround and volunteers will provide directions. Water Station There will be a water station at the 1.5 mile turnaround. Bathrooms There will be bathrooms outside and inside the Brewers Lounge. None on the 5k course. Come join us for a little exercise Thanksgiving morning to get some exercise and make room for some great Thanksgiving food! Deerfield park is beautiful in the fall and you will love the course! 100% of the entries from this event go directly to support the Shepherd Track spring break trip to Orange Beach, Alabama. Your participation helps to provide these young adults with a safe spring break opportunity where they can develop as track athletes and as people. The race is great and the cause is even greater. Shirts are available while they last and we will have some light snacks and drinks available after the race. Awards in the version of gift cards to pick up some last minute Thanksgiving needs will be handed out to age group champions as well. The Marquette Turkey Trot is a fundraising event for the MSHS Orchestra. Course Information: The course starts at the MSHS Canopy Entrance and heads down the paved bike path towards Tourist Park which is the 5k turn-around. The 10k course continues along the path towards the ore dock before Presque Isle. The course is an out and back. Shirts are long sleeve t-shirts with a logo designed by a MSHS student. Dogs are welcome and will be rewarded for the fastest 5k and 10k finisher. Race-day registration is 8-8:40 am, EST. The race is not timed so wear your watch if you would like to time yourself. It is a great day to contribute to our school organizations and get together with fellow runners/walkers and community members. Walkers are welcome for the 5k. Only runners for our 10k event.

Charlevoix Turkey Trot Fun Run hosted by Walter Wellness. This run as a 2 mile and 5k distance, meant to get out and move your body for a good cause. There won't be an official timer, so make sure to use your apps and watches for your time. Run starts and finishes in the Charlevoix Marina by the bandshell, running under the bridge to Lake Michigan beach, then down lakeshore drive near the cement plant turn around and back. There will be signs at the 1 mile mark to turn around for those doing a shorter 2 mile distance. Donuts will be waiting at the finish line for all runners, along with Walter Wellness Goodie Bags. Money raised will go to Safe Haven Ministries for their soup kitchen program. If you feel so inclined, please bring a non-perishable item with you to the event to be donated to Charlevoix's local food bank.
