Join us for our THIRD annual ASL for All 5K! Help us celebrate and grow Olathe as a Shared Signing Community—a place where Deaf and non-Deaf people connect through sign language. Join us for the CASA Superhero 5K fun run/walk and 10K run through historic Leavenworth, KS, followed by a kids' superhero race (100 yards). The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) concept is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home. Unlike attorneys and social workers, the CASA volunteer speaks exclusively for the child's best interests. By handling only one or two cases at a time (compared to a social agency caseworker's average load of 60 – 90), the CASA volunteer has the time to explore each assigned case's history thoroughly. The volunteer talks with the child, parents, family members, neighbors, school officials, doctors, and others involved in the child's life that may have facts about the case. The volunteer then also reviews all records and documents about the child. They then submit a formal report to the court-recommending placement: should the child stay with their parents, be placed in foster care, or be freed fo

Carey's Denim Dash is an annual 5k race in honor of Carey Berger. Carey’s Denim Dash aims to raise awareness and money for Love Enough 4 U. A Missouri 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to helping teens and young adults receive drug and alcohol treatment at Enthusiastic Sobriety Approach recovery programs, who otherwise would not be able to afford treatment.

The Armourdale Renewal Association (ARA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the Armourdale neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas. Through youth programs, community development, and local initiatives, ARA works to create a more connected, supported, and vibrant community for residents and families. The Armourdale Community Run & Walk is a chance to be part of that impact. This event brings together runners, walkers, families, and local businesses for a morning that supports the community while creating a fun and welcoming experience for everyone involved. Last year’s event was just the beginning, and 2026 is focused on growing participation and building something even bigger for Armourdale. You will not want to miss being part of it. About Talk to Me: Talk2Me is a 501c3 whose mission is to empower people to connect, heal, and thrive in our schools and communities. We provide education, an open sharing platform, and an action and accountability plan to connect individuals with safe help.  We offer counseling grants to those in need. Many who come to us are suffering from addictions and mental illness.  We also provide grants to women and young people to advance their education, careers, and faith development. The name NOLAN means "champion" and the 2nd annual Nolan Davidson Champion's Run was established to celebrate Nolan Davidson and the spirit of competition and determination in which he lived his life. On December 7th 2023, Nolan tragically passed away from injuries sustained from a drunk driving accident. Nolan's love for sports and compassion for others left a lasting impact on his school community and the Kansas City youth soccer community. With last year's race proceeds, the Nolan Davidson Foundation was able to donate $30,000 to KC Fusion Soccer Club for youth scholarships, fully fund the Foundry Church’s Club 45 youth group nights for fourth and fifth graders, and donate over 1,000 toys to Children’s Mercy Hospital. We look forward to continuing our support this year to these programs as well as providing four KC metro high school cross country runners each a $1,000 scholarship.
