Run or walk through our outdoor art museum! Join us for the 9th edition of the Artful Dash 5K Run/Walk! The race begins at 10:00 a.m.! The Artful Dash is back for its 9th edition in 2026! We are excited to welcome you to this wonderful event along the trail that runners and walkers look forward to each October! Run or walk to support the Karl Stirner Arts Trail and ensure its ongoing success. The Arts Trail fosters opportunities for the community to experience the interconnectedness of art with nature, history, and health & wellness in a natural urban environment. The race begins behind Don Juan's on North Third Street and heads onto Bushkill Drive for a quarter-mile before turning onto the Karl Stirner Arts Trail. Speed past sculptures and works of art or enjoy the sights while walking through the trail. The turnaround and water point are at the 13th Street parking lot. This chip-timed race is dog-friendly (prize for the first dog past the finish line!) and open to all ages. Runners under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Guaranteed long-sleeve T-shirt if you sign up by 11:59 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20. Get in step with the newest addition to Alvernia's Homecoming and Family Weekend: the Pack Dash 5K. The race snakes through Alvernia's Hill Campus, offering a running tour of the university's gorgeous grounds. Proceeds from the Pack Dash will benefit the Hope Fund, a critical resource that assists students facing unexpected hardships, including food and housing insecurity, transportation challenges, and emergency medical expenses. Help us to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. All race proceeds go to breastcancer.org and the Dream Crazy for Greta foundation! This inaugural event was held in 2018 and began as a Radnor High School English class project. Our first year, we raised a little over $1,000 and had 30 participants in our race. This “little” project has flourished into a race that raised $24,000 in 2025, thanks to a combination of almost 200 run/walkers, sponsorships, and donations. This year, we are aiming to raise $30,000. Breastcancer.org is an organization of people committed to making every effort to provide the public with balanced and responsible breast cancer information. They have been our partner for years when finding a home for all money we have collected each year in fundraising and we cannot wait to continue helping them thrive. The Dream Crazy Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to honor the life and legacy of Margaretha “Greta” Ehret, a beloved Philadelphia area field hockey coach and one of Radnors own. She was a teacher and mother who passed away from metastatic breast cancer in June of 2025.

The Glenside Fire Company – Stop, Drop & Run 5K is a fundraiser that benefits the all-volunteer Glenside Fire Company No. 1 in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Both the 5K run and our 1.5 mile “fun” run/walk will start and finish at the Glenside Fire Company Firehouse at 210 W. Glenside Avenue in Glenside. This is conveniently located across the street from the Glenside Train Station for anyone using public transportation. The run will take two loops through the scenic streets of Glenside. A few rolling hills throughout the course will provide just enough of a challenge to satisfy any level of runner. The 1.5 mile run/walk will be untimed, but will follow the same course, completing just one loop. - After the Race - Come for the exercise, but stay for the fun!!! All race participants will be provided with breakfast foods, along with plenty of water. Those who are of age (21+) and interested will be able to join us in our beer garden for a complimentary beer. Entertainment and other amenities will be available and will be highlighted on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/GFC5K as race day approaches. ENTRY: $30.00 if registered by September 25th to receive a long-sleeved race shirt. The fee for entrants registered after September 25th, including Race Day, is $35,00. The HAEE 5K Run/Walk is our main yearly fundraiser. Thanks to our generous sponsors, we have been able to consistently fund new, exciting, and innovative programs in the Hampton Township School District. This year's 5k (3.1 mile) course is at Hampton Community Park. The HAEE 5K race proceeds are used to support innovative and imaginative programs in the Hampton Township School District. HAEE, a volunteer-run non-profit organization, grants thousands of dollars to enrich the educational experience in each of Hampton’s schools, including programs for the advancement of technology in the curriculum, hands-on inventive learning in all academic areas through special programs, and added support for special needs, physical education, and the arts. Chosen 300 depends on the support of private gifts from individuals, private companies, faith-based community and other organizations to maintain its mission work in the Philadelphia region and around the world. Funds raised from this event will go to support the ongoing hunger relief to those in need.

Join us in supporting a great cause! The UMH Foundation is hosting its first-ever run/walk fundraiser on our beautiful Wesley Village Campus in Pittston, PA. Choose a 3 or 1 mile run/walk, both starting at the Irene Raeder Community Center, 410 Pollock Drive, adjacent to our Brooks Estates cottage community. It will be a fun afternoon of exercise, music, a food truck, and camaraderie among staff, residents, families, and friends. The Navy Yard 5K is a community-minded event, connecting runners, tenants, and organizations through fitness and fun. Involvement presents an ideal opportunity to raise awareness of your business or organization and to support the Navy Yard community. It also provides a great team-building event for your organization as teammates can run, volunteer, or just cheer alongside their co-workers! This unique event will take place at lunchtime on Central Green at the Navy Yard. Whether you participate as a runner, walker, course volunteer, or as a spectator, we hope to see you there! The Shades of Death 10 Miler is a challenging 10 mile loop backroad run/hike located in Avella, PA. It will start and finish at the Polar Star Club. The run/walk will take you on multiple back roads with scenic views of farms and forests including Shades of Death Road. Over 1200' of Ascent and 1200' of Descent. There will be a 4-hour cutoff to finish. 3 official Aid stations will be located near mile 3, 6, and 8. You are invited to stick around after the race for a meal (included for racers), drinks, and live music!! US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Our gentle downhill course allows many finishers to run their personal best times. Spectacular fall foliage makes our course one of the most scenic you will experience. Race begins in Cabot and finishes at the south end of the Trail at the former Butler Junction under the highway 356 bridge over the Allegheny River. Annually on the 3rd Saturday of October. Course – A 0.68 mile loop (macadam only) or a 1.64M loop comprising macadam (blacktop) and Woodland trail. Weather conditions on day of event will let you determine which course you choose. The Road Course has been removed. Simply too much to be worthwhile. Since we added the woodland course, participants may choose to switch courses right up until they start the event. Once you start, you'll continue to use the same course for the day. (You can't switch back & forth between courses - there's no way we'd be able to keep track of you.) The race will be limited to 100 total participants. Event begins at 6:30 am and ends at 6:30 pm. You may begin and end at any time you like during that time. You may even leave the course and come back. It's all up to you.

Join us for the 2nd Jack’s Team 5K Walk and Run on Saturday, October 17, 2026 at Southern Lehigh High School. This 5K is in memory of Jack Hankee, former Southern Lehigh middle school assistant principal who lost his fight with cancer last year. In November of 2023, Jack was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, which is an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer. Thanks to the compassionate care and innovative treatment he received at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Jack was able to spend invaluable time with his loved ones—time that made a lasting impact on all who knew him. Now, we walk and run not only to remember Jack, but to help others facing similar battles. All net proceeds from this event will go directly to support cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering, helping to improve treatment options and give more families precious time with the people they love. Participants can choose to walk, jog, or run. Every registration supports cancer research through the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. By participating, you not only honor the memory of Jack Hankee but also contribute to a meaningful cause that helps others benefit from cancer research.
