What is not to like about this 5K-ish….dress like Santa and beer….almost forgot about the running.  All Santas start at a bar in the north side in Bethlehem (FLYING PIG), to warm up, have some drinks and enjoy company.  At noon – Santas take off for a run around Bethlehem area bars where the first 24 to get to each location receive a free beer.   To everyone else – drink specials!  At 3 PM, all Santas will come back together at Molly’s Irish Grille and Sports Pub for live music and tons of fun. Check-in from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM @  Flying Pig Run begins at 12 Noon – there will be an official “GO” *****There is no course – you can visit bars in any order you choose…strategy is key*****   There are more ways to get free beer than being first — anyone who brings a toy to donate for Toys for Tots will receive a ticket for a free beer at the starting location.   $5 from each registration will also be donated to Toys for Tots.   Space is limited – register today!

All proceeds go directly to the New Florence Volunteer Fire Company.   Festivus 5k packet pickup will be at the New Florence Fire Hall morning of the race starting at 9am (possibly little earlier). Registration will close at 9:50 am to allow Smiley Miles Timing to put names into the system without delaying the start of the race of those who sign up day of.    PRICING: Pricing is $20 until November 15th at 6pm, then it becomes $25 till registration closes, then $30 day of race. There is day registration starting at 9am (possibly little earlier) and ending at 950am. Cash or Check only day of. Credit cards will not be accepted day of. Perry County Road Runners will host the 42nd edition of the Last Mile on December 27th 2025.  Its a 5 mile race that starts at the Duncannon Fire Hall at Cumberland and High St.  It goes through the scenic hillside outside town and finishes by the Fire Hall. Perry County Road Runners will host the 42nd edition of the Last Mile on December 27th 2025.  Its a 5 mile race that starts at the Duncannon Fire Hall at Cumberland and High St.  It goes through the scenic hillside outside town and finishes by the Fire Hall. No Race Day Registration.START TIME: 9:30 AM LOCATION: LVRR Clubhouse, Lehigh Parkway, Allentown12 AGE GROUPS: 10-4, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+AWARDS: $75, $50 & $25 cash prizes to top 3 overall male and female; Gift Certificates will be awarded to the top 3 in Age Groups. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the top overall Masters Male and Female. Gift Certificates provided by our friends @ Aardvark Sports Shop, Emmaus Run Inn and Keystone Running Store.  Race bandits will be banned from all LVRR events for a period of one year. If caught wearing a bib that is not your own, both parties will be banned from all LVRR events for a period of one year.

This 5K fun run/walk is being held in memory of Max Schollenberger, a 12-year-old Annville resident, who died after experiencing horrendous abuse and neglect. His death rocked the community and galvanized residents to do something substantive to honor Max and ensure he is remembered. This race provides an opportunity to help heal the community and to support The UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA, an organization whose sole purpose is to treat children who have experienced abuse.  This is not a timed event. The focus of the run is to honor and remember Max.
