Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness

This is our second Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness.   Although the event is hosted at Pilla Middle School, all district schools and our community have come together to create this special event to spread awareness and promote acceptance.   All proceeds will be returned to our community and benefit Pilla Project Unity (a club dedicated to creating social interactions among students of all abilities while giving back to the community), Educators 4 Autism (a local nonprofit organization), and Project Lifesaver (providing local children with GPS tracking devices).   The entire race take place on the grounds of Pilla Middle School.  The terrain is mostly paved surfaces but also includes grassy and dirt areas in the field behind the school.  The course is jogging stroller friendly as long as it can handle the terrain mentioned above.   Register for the 5K by 3/29 and run away with a race tee and finisher medal!   Register for the 1-mile by 3/29 and receive a race tee!   Awards wi

Twenty-three years and over $150,000 donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society later, Maria wanted to shift the focus of the Sprint. In an effort to help a local cancer foundation near and dear to the community, she turned to David’s Dream and Believe Cancer Foundation to become the new beneficiary of the Sprint. Together, Maria and David came to us – Jim and Denise Harrington – to ask if we would be willing to become the Race Directors. Visions and Pathways 5K & Walk

Now in our 28th year, we invite you to run or walk at Duke Island Park for our youth's future on April 18th, 2026.  We literally have something for everyone! Our sanctioned 5K is for everyone from the competitive runner to the joyful walker. USATF-NJ members can earn 500 points in the 2025 Grand Prix competition. For those not up for the full 3.1 miles, register for our 2 Mile Walk. Busy that day? We've got a virtual event. Keeping the kids sprints!While a 5K brings excitement to the day, kids sprinting brings pure joy. Cumberland County Historical Running Festival at Greenwich

Essex Running Club - Jersey City Marathon / Half Marathon Bus

We will be providing two mini buses with 14 seats to and from the Jersey City Half Marathon and Marathon departing from Fleet Feet Montclair (603 Bloomfield Ave, Montclair) between 5:00 and 5:15am. They will drop runners off near the start / finish area in Jersey City by 6:00am. Plan to arrive early so you have plenty of time to park and get to the buses no later than 5:10am. We will start checking people in and loading the buses at 5:00am so each bus can leave as soon as it is full.  For the return trip, we will let you know where the buses will be parked or where it will pick you up. We expect them to start leaving from Jersey City at 10:00am with each bus leaving as soon as it is full. This will limit the wait time for a bus whether you are running the marathon or half marathon and whether you are a fast or slow runner.
