Event proceeds support the Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools and its Forging a Future fundraising campaign, benefitting the Industrial Technology Program at WAPS.The timed 4K (2.5-mile) course is mostly on grass around the scenic property at Winona Senior High School. Age groups are 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, & 70+ for both men and women. Top 3 in each age group earn a medal. Special awards for the overall male and female. The Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon is a scenic, USATF-certified 26.2-mile race run entirely on the paved Lake Wobegon Trail, a former rail line converted into a smooth, flat path through the heart of Stearns County, Minnesota. The Mountain Lake Road Race is one of the longest running races in the state of Minnesota!  We will be holding our 53rd annual race this year.  Our event has that small town charm with big city production and turnout.  Our race is recognized for being well-run and organized.  Known for having one of the least expensive registration fees in the state. This Run Mountain Lake event is still able to provide quality t-shirts, chip timing, awards for the overall winners, as well as for the top 3 in each race division, along with unique commemorative finisher medal for all runners, fruit, and other refreshments. Lake Rebecca Triathlon is located just 30 miles west of downtown Minneapolis at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve in Rockford, MN. Lake Rebecca is part of the Three Rivers Park District, and provides a beautiful backdrop for a great day of racing and spectating. There are many reasons why Lake Rebecca has continued to be such a popular destination for a triathlon: a clear, clean non-motorboat lake, low traffic county roads with wide shoulders, a beautiful run in the shade of mature trees, parking close to transition and lots of room to roam for spectators and families. Eddy Trail Races are based at Chi Rho Center on the south side of Lake Sylvia, on the outskirts of Annandale, MN. The 50k and a half marathon run through the Stanley Eddy Park Reserve, a wonderful series of trails in our nook of the state. Big Eddy and The Eddy are more than just races, they are beautiful MN trails, an experience of elevation, pain, perseverance, comradery, and so much more! Whether you are new to the trails or these distances or you are a seasoned trail distance runner, both races will push you to your limit and give you great success. A fun and powerful event that brings our community together to stand—and now run—with survivors, sending a clear message that they are seen, believed, and never have to stand alone. This event raises both awareness and critical funds for Sexual Assault Services, a local nonprofit providing free and confidential support to individuals impacted by sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and all forms of sexual violence. We are excited to continue for the 2nd year a timed 5K run through the beautiful trails of the Northland Arboretum. The 5K is a separate event, created in response to years of community interest in having a professionally timed run. The registration fee for the 5K helps cover the costs associated with timing and event logistics, ensuring a quality experience for participants while still supporting our mission. Following the 5K, participants and community members are invited to take part in our signature Walk-A-Mile-In-Her-Shoes event at 11:30 a.m. This walk is a bonus event after the run and offers a meaningful opportunity for men, women, and children to step into the shoes of survivors—literally. We’ll have a variety of high heels available for those who want to participate in this powerful and eye-opening experience. Founded in 1996, the NorthShore Inline Marathon is dedicated to spreading the love of inline skating and overall fitness. The 50 mile event qualifies for the Mora Classic Series.
