This will be the 12th Annual Run for Robin 5k. This is a major fundraising event for the Harvey Foundation. This run was originally set up in honor of Robin Harvey, who was tragically struck and killed by a car while training for the Boston Marathon. In her graceful honor we are pleased to host our 12th annual Run for Robin 5k! Over the past 11 years, over 6,000 people have participated in this event. Not only is this race set up to pay tribute to Robin and her beautiful life, but also to raise money for the foundation, including the scholarship award. The Harvey Foundation has been working hard this year growing the organization and outreach here on Nantucket. In the past 11 years we have awarded over $175,000 in scholarship money, to deserving student athletes going on to further their education with the majority of these funds coming as a result of this race.

This is the 15th Annual 5K race and two-mile walk to benefit our neighbors who face food insecurity. We have been able to donate around $500,000 as well as thousands of pounds of food to Open Pantry Community Services, Inc. over the last 14 years. Due to current economic hardships, the needs being addressed by the Open Pantry have never been greater. This year's events will be in-person with a virtual option available as well. 14th Running of the Franklin Park Turkey Trot The Franklin Park Coalition’s now-famous Turkey Trot started in 2013. Last year's race was our biggest yet with over 2,500 neighbors and friends signing up to join us. It was also the fifth year in a row that we sold out before the race (despite increasing our runner cap)! Come join your friends and neighbors this year. Approximately half of the course is on the rail trail closed to traffic and half is on rural roads that are open to traffic. The 2K WALK ONLY starts and finishes at Millside Park the 2K walk will head south on the bike path towards Union Street and turn around BEFORE Union Street. The course will be well marked and staffed with volunteers. If you would like an event shirt you must sign up before 11/03/26. The Kids Fun Run is up to 1 mile in distance and ONLY for children 10 and under. Parents with very young children can accompany them and do not need to register. Kids will receive a tee shirt and a chocolate turkey lollipop. It will start at 8:45 in the back of the parking lot near CVS. Again, it is only for children ten years old and younger. Children over ten who would like to run should register for the 5k. Race Course The Turkey Trot is a USATF Certified 5k run through scenic Wellesley. The start and finish are at Linden Square on Linden Street. Runners will follow Linden Street to Crest Road where they will turn left before turning right on Central Street. The runners will follow Central Street to the firehouse and turn left on Weston Road until they reach Washington Street. From there, they will turn right on Washington Street until scenic College Road, the entrance to Wellesley College Campus. Runners will follow College Road up for approximately ¾ of a mile before turning right on Route 135 (Central Street) and there they will run past the famous Boston Marathon Scream Tunnel. The runners will follow Central Street to Crest road where they will turn left and then an immediate right on Linden Street to the finish line. Parking There is plenty of parking on Linden Street and we encourage families that live close by to walk or jog over. The Thunderbolt Ski Runners will host the annual Turkey Trot 5K (Formerly organized by the Western MA Athletic Club) on Thursday, Nov. 26 (THANKSGIVING) at 9:30 a m. The run begins and ends at the E. Hoosac Street and N. Summer St. intersection near the Pizza House. Runners will travel from North Summer Street to Lime Street, then Left onto Printworks Drive to the circle at the end where there will be an aid station, and run the same route back. Registration begins at 8am at the Pizza House in Adams, 26 Hoosac Street. The Awards Ceremony will also be held at the Pizza House with post race snacks and warm beverages.

The 5K run/1-mile walk “Run Like Kat” Road Race is an opportunity to bring our community together to remember Katarina “Kat” Boskovic, honor her legacy and celebrate her many incredible, positive qualities. Among these attributes, Kat was incredibly kind, inclusive, funny and had a unique ability to always see the good in people. While the sadness and impact of her loss remain, Be Like Kat (Kat Boskovic Memorial Fund) will allow Kat’s legacy also to remain with us and positively impact our community. Kat was a superb student athlete, mentor and youth track coach, yet above all, she adored her family and was a loving, loyal and genuine friend who touched so many lives. In 2008, the Lexington High School Cross Country / Track & Field program hosted its first annual “Alumni Race” on the same, nearly all-road course the team has called home since 1970. Over the last 18 years, with the support of athletes, coaches, and parent volunteers our tradition has grown into an event that allows us to share the sport we love with the larger community. Our track family invites you to come be a part of the legacy the Saturday after Thanksgiving, November 28th at 9am, for the Lexington Legacy 5k run/walk. All proceeds will go to support the nearly 250 boys and girls on the LHS Cross Country / Track & Field team. **NEW IN 2026** We will offer a VIRTUAL 5k run. The Mattapoisett Santa Stampede 5K for MS will host hundreds of “Santas” wearing complimentary 5 piece Santa suits, from the red coat and hat, right down to the beard! In a 3.1 mile loop around scenic Ned's Point Lighthouse and along the picturesque harbor of Mattapoisett. This festive run/walk is sure to bring out the holiday spirit for all participants and spectators. The event will take place at 9:00am on Saturday December 5th, beginning and ending at the Mattapoisett Town Wharf. This community event will help support individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis along with foundations that provide research towards a cure. This year’s race date will also mark the 2 year anniversary of our race director being diagnosed with MS. There are two options for Santa Suit sizing. Option 1: Adult (one size fits all) Option 2: Youth (Suggested for children 12 and under who are less than 5 feet tall) These will be provided to the first 500 adult (one size fits all) registrations, and the first 200 youth (suggested for children) registrations. It is important you select the proper Santa suit option size at checkout! The Frosty Half Marathon is back!  Now in our 14th year we are pleased to welcome runners back to beautiful Raynham .  Same great course, a little something for everyone.  And of course our age-group awards will be back!  Best news is that we will be all gathering post-race for our hot breakfast!

Join us for a chilly run of the Winter Classic 5K!Start and finish in beautiful downtown Cambridge, Massachusetts.Make it a winter stroll or an all-out sprint down Mass Ave. The course is fast and flat so you can get back to the finish line sooner!Festive attire is encouraged but not mandatory. The 8th Annual TBE Dreidel Dash welcomes you to join us in celebrating the joy of Chanukah! Events include our signature 5k race and kids races. Stick around for our costume contest, food, fun, and activities for all ages! All proceeds benefit the TBE Youth Engagement Fund. This event is hosted by Temple Beth Elohim, and is open to all. Schedule: 8:15 AM: Registration and Bib Pickup 9:15 AM: Pre-Race Assembly 9:30 AM: Start of 5K Race for all runners/walkers 10:30 AM: Awards Ceremony for 5k Race 10:45 AM: Kiddie Dash and Junior Dash Kids Races Award ceremony to follow kids races Dreidel Dash Race Swag: The first 300 registrants and volunteers will receive a custom knit hat! Chanukah Costume Contest: Runners and non-runners come dressed in your most festive fun Chanukah attire! There will be an award given to the best solo AND the best group costume during the award ceremony. Run/Walk Details: Dreidel Dash 5K (all ages): Chip timed 5K (3.1 mile) walk/run course through neighboring streets near TBE, with a few gentle hills. Turns will be marked by guides and signs, water stops provided. Discounted pricing for youth 17 and under! Kiddie Dash (Ages 5 and under) & Junior Dash (Ages 6-10): TBE signature events for kids, with a course 1-2 laps around the TBE parking lot. All who finish win a prize and costumes are strongly encouraged! Bib Pickup: Friday, December 4th from 3-6pm & Sunday December 6th beginning at 8:15 am Volunteering: Volunteers are needed to make this event a success! Click here to volunteer! Parking: Please arrive at TBE via Route 9, rather than via Walnut Street, and park on the neighborhood side streets. We hope to keep the Schofield School lot open for those who are less mobile. Water Bottle Drive: Tikkun olam, our Jewish mission to repair our world, extends to all of our programming. Please bring new or gently used reusable water bottles that will be donated to local food pantries.
