The 9th Annual Treasure Coast Tri WINTER will take place at Fort Pierce's hidden jewel, Jetty Park. Daytona 100 is a point-to-point road race along Florida S.R. A1A--the ocean road--from Jacksonville Beach* to Ponce Inlet, just south of Daytona Beach.  100-mile, 50-mile and 50-kilometer individual distances are offered as well as a 6-person 100-mile team relay race.  Daytona 100 finishes at the historic Ponce Inlet Lighthouse at the southernmost point of the barrier island.  The ocean views are quite spectacular and the route--and the weather--are conducive to fast PRs!  100-milers have 31 hours to complete the course; shorter distances have until noon on Sunday.  (*50 milers and 50 kilometer runners start in Flagler Beach.)

The U.S. Polo Assn. Palm Beaches Marathon is a weekend long event including of a Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half marathon, and 5K road race. Join us for the third annual 5k run/walk here on the campus of St Lucie West Centennial High School.  The proceeds from this race will go towards our Athletics department and provide some much needed funding for facility upgrades for our student athletes.   The race will start and end in the back school courtyard located in front of our gymnasium. We will use the student parking lot for St Lucie West Centennial High School.  The lot can be reached via Cameo Blvd from Crosstown Parkway, or by way of turning from Cashmere Blvd onto Education Way (in front of McChesney Park).  The parking lot is located adjacent to St. Lucie West K-8 school.

Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources hosts the Sandy Claws Beach Run.  Now in its 50th year, the run is a fixture in the running community of Sarasota. Santa is back in town! Whether you’re naughty or nice, you don’t want to miss this fun, festive, holiday favorite. We have some changes afoot in 2024! Due to uncertainty about venues and routes due to hurricanes Helene and Milton, we have moved both the half marathon and 10K to start and finish at Seminole City Park in Seminole. The park is a great venue and will provide a fantastic setting for the post-race celebration. We will not be offering alcoholic beverages this year due to park restrictions. We were already considering removing them anyway to make the Holiday Distance Classic a more family-friendly and focused event.
