The 5th Annual Reagan's Run, a 5K, 1 Mile Walk, and Kids Dash, will take place on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Wilson Farm Park. Hosted by The Rea of Hope for a Cure Foundation, inspired by 14-year-old Reagan Monast, the foundation is on a mission to support and connect those affected by epilepsy in Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties, as well as the 3.4 million people living with Epilepsy.  This 5K,  1-mile walk, and kids' dash aims to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy research. Proceeds will go to Rea of Hope AND CURE Epilepsy (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy), whose mission is to find a cure for epilepsy by promoting and funding patient-focused research. Reagan's Run has raised nearly $100,000 since it began in 2021, which has gone directly to epilepsy research. Get ready for a fun-filled, family-friendly event! The YMCA Harrisburg Half Marathon course starts on City Island and runs along the scenic Riverfront Park in the downtown Harrisburg community. It’s an ideal course that’s friendly for runners of all abilities — beginners enjoy the lack of elevation while more experienced runners strive for personal bests. In 20 years of existence, the YMCA Harrisburg Half has experienced tremendous growth and is quickly becoming one of the most loved running events in Central Pennsylvania.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS, DEFERRALS OR TRANSFERS. NO EMAILS WILL BE SENT UNTIL RACE WEEK.  Many answers to questions are on our website, eriemarathon.net.  Due to our park permit all parking will be at Waldameer Park and all will need to walk the .6 miles to the start and after the race. We will have water stops with water and lemon lime Gatorade. They will be spaced about a mile apart and will also have a porta-potty near each.  Please be aware that all spectators must be able to walk to the race from Waldameer parking and at no point can they be on any roadway.  If they are on any roadway they will be fined by the park.  There are no food vendors or drink machines at the park, spectators must bring in anything they will need. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  High School: We also welcome our High School runners! Our high school students will be running a 2 mile race.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. Thanks to your past support, during our Hometown Heroes event in June, we were able to provide $50,000 in scholarships to volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians. These outstanding volunteers risk their lives on every call.Registration is $35 until the day of the race. Race Day registration is $40. You may sign up in person on Pre-Race Packet Pick-up or the day of the race. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Task Force is hosting a Walk to Prevent Suicide on Sunday, September 13 at Temple - Ambler Campus. Register today for this inspirational walk to support suicide awareness, education, and prevention. Bring your family and friends to join us in this important cause! Children 10 years of age and younger are free, and children 11 years and up as well as adults need to register on this site. During registration, you can also create or join a team.  The walk is approximately X miles. Parking is available in Lot 1 on Meetinghouse Road. Check-in on walk day begins across the street from parking at 8:30 am with the walk starting at 9:00 am. Refreshments, fun for kids, and mental health resources will be available as well as a giveaway item for the first 150 registered walkers. We are looking forward to the 2026 Hoodlebug 5K Run & Fun Walk to be held Sunday, September 13, 2026. This is a race that has been held for years as part of the Homer City Business Association's Annual Fall Festival.  The race starts at 4:30 PM on the bridge on Main Street near Floodway Park, but plan to come early to enjoy the Festival activities. The Hoodlebug 5K is an out and back race held mostly on the nearby Hoodlebug Trail.  Runners and walkers are welcome.  Family pricing is available so bring the whole family.  New this year:  Chip timing by Gingerbread Timing.  Live results will be uploaded every 30 seconds during the race at RunSignUp. When a medical emergency occurs, every second matters. While Amblebrook is served by the regional 911 system—including Adams Regional Emergency Medical Services (AREMS), the Gettysburg Fire Department, and the Pennsylvania State Police—the large coverage areas for these services can sometimes lead to longer response times. NEAR was created to help bridge that gap. When you dial 911, NEAR is dispatched at the same time as the ambulance. As a Pennsylvania EMS-certified Quick Response Service (QRS), NEAR volunteers are often able to arrive quickly to provide critical care until professional emergency responders arrive. "Hyatt's Run With the Angels" 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County, PA.   This Annual Event is being hosted by the "Hyatt's Angels" Foundation, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child.  Early registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday, August 23rd, and includes a FREE RACE TEE.  Late registration is from August 24th through 11:59 pm on September 18th.  Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day, Saturday, September 19th.  No shirt guarantee for late or race day registrations. March for the Fallen is an event for the military and civilian communities to join annually in honoring the memory of all fallen service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of our great nation. We are bringing this event back to its roots. The event races will be manually timed.  You will have from your event start time until 6:00pm to complete the course. Awards will be provided to individual race winners by the Training Site.  ​​The events are the 28- and 14-mile heavy or light marches, 5k run/walk, a 28-mile hand cycle and a virtual 5k run/walk. "Hyatt's Run With the Angels" 5K course is a beautiful 3.1 mile out and back course at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County, PA.   This Annual Event is being hosted by the "Hyatt's Angels" Foundation, and all net proceeds will go to help provide need based financial and emotional assistance to families who have suffered the loss of a child.  Early registration runs through 11:59 pm on Monday, August 23rd, and includes a FREE RACE TEE.  Late registration is from August 24th through 11:59 pm on September 18th.  Race Day registration will be from 7:30 am to 8:30 am on Race Day, Saturday, September 19th.  No shirt guarantee for late or race day registrations. The Center is thrilled to partner with Tröegs Brewing Company for this exciting event!  All proceeds will support the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art. This timed charity fun run features an approximately 3-mile course through the beautiful, tree-lined streets of North Park in northern Allegheny County, just north of Pittsburgh, PA. Staged out of Marsh Creek State Park, this race is located just west of Philadelphia, PA and minutes from the Turnpike. The time trial swim takes place in 500 acre Marsh Creek Lake and features a single loop, rectangular shaped swim course. The bike course is a beautiful, well paved, single loop 20k course that takes athletes through a mix of technical sections and long straightaways alongside trout streams and forests. The 5k run course is entirely within the park and has beautiful lake views and a good uphill at mile 1.
