Preserving Our Past, One Step at a Time. Lace up your running shoes and meet us at the Forty Fort Cemetery on Saturday, September 12, 2026 for a run/walk through history. We will offer a 5K walk(with short cut), 5K run and 10K which ends with a historical walking tour of the cemetery and meeting house, all to raise money for the historic Forty Fort Cemetery. All are welcome! Each runner/walker who registers will receive a commemorative medal, shirt (to receive the tee shirt you must register before August 31, @ midnight). The awards and festivities will start at 11 am with live music and a food truck plus a great selection of drinks, all to take place on the cemetery grounds. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk?The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! The Washington Memorial Chapel Veteran’s Commission proudly presents the Patriots Day 9/11 PT Challenge, a community-wide physical fitness event taking place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in honor of U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Marc Small and all those who have served during the Global War on Terror (GWOT). This memorial workout is inspired by the training traditions of military units, which often dedicate intense workouts to fallen heroes. The featured workout consists of three rounds for time of the following exercises: Challenge (3 Rounds for Time): Row 1,000 meters 50 Burpees 50 Box Jumps Run 800 meters Participants of 16 years or older and all fitness levels are encouraged to join. Scaling options are available to ensure everyone can complete the challenge at their own pace and ability. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or new to fitness, the goal is unity, remembrance, and respect. If you would like to volunteer for the event please click on the Volunteer tab for information. This event is dedicated to SSG Marc Small, a native of Collegeville, Pennsylvania, who was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), based in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. On February 12, 2009, SSG Small tragically lost his life in Faramuz, Afghanistan, when his unit came under enemy fire, including rocket-propelled grenades and small arms. He was just 29 years old. SSG Small is remembered by his parents, stepparents, and his fiancée, along with countless others impacted by his courage and sacrifice. Here’s a summary of what participants can expect: Location and Setting: Camp hart is a rustic Boy Scout camp located along the Unami Creek, offering a natural and preserved open space environment.Trail Description: The trails primarily consist of mostly  double track technical trails with some single-track sections. Runners will encounter various natural elements such as tree roots, rocks, dirt, mud, and plenty of shade as they navigate through the course. Loop distances are expected to be around 6.2 miles, depending on trail conditions. Note course is subject to change if the sale of one of the camps goes through. Terrain and Elevation: The course includes hills, providing a challenge. This elevation change will add to the scenic and varied nature of the race. Aid Station and Refreshments: There will be one aid station offering an assortment of carbohydrates, fruits, water, Gatorade, and soda. The September 11th National Memorial Trail is honored to host its 8th annual Tour de Trail: Flight 93 National Memorial event in 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. This commemorative bike ride travels through the scenic Laurel Highlands region of Pennsylvania, and includes a meaningful loop through the grounds of the Flight 93 National Memorial. Please join us on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm for a 24-mile ride beginning in Berlin, PA, traveling to the Flight 93 National Memorial, and back. Holding this ride on September 12 is quite significant. In 2021, we dedicated the race to Ron Shields as he was always involved with running either with the road runners and help restart and coach the cross-country team at West Perry.  In honor of him, we have renamed the Perry 5000 the Ron Shields Perry 5000. The 5k starts at 9:30am and the mile walk, and fun runs starts after the 5k is finished. Stick around afterwards for the street fair.

The historic Camptown races offers a challenge like no other. The race is approximately 10k in length and offers both road and trail. The trail section is approximately 2.8 miles long and is technical! Be prepared for tree roots, loose rocks, and a creek crossing. Earn your place in history by conquering this challenging course! This year we are adding a 5k option to the Camptown Races.  Transportation will be provided to the start of the 5k.

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. The Montgomery County Suicide Prevention Task Force is hosting a Walk to Prevent Suicide on Sunday, September 13 at Temple - Ambler Campus. Register today for this inspirational walk to support suicide awareness, education, and prevention. Bring your family and friends to join us in this important cause! Children 10 years of age and younger are free, and children 11 years and up as well as adults need to register on this site. During registration, you can also create or join a team.  The walk is approximately X miles. Parking is available in Lot 1 on Meetinghouse Road. Check-in on walk day begins across the street from parking at 8:30 am with the walk starting at 9:00 am. Refreshments, fun for kids, and mental health resources will be available as well as a giveaway item for the first 150 registered walkers. Dogs are welcome, subject to Temple - Ambler's Ground Rules.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen. TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS, DEFERRALS OR TRANSFERS. NO EMAILS WILL BE SENT UNTIL RACE WEEK.  Many answers to questions are on our website, eriemarathon.net.  Due to our park permit all parking will be at Waldameer Park and all will need to walk the .6 miles to the start and after the race. We will have water stops with water and lemon lime Gatorade. They will be spaced about a mile apart and will also have a porta-potty near each.  Please be aware that all spectators must be able to walk to the race from Waldameer parking and at no point can they be on any roadway.  If they are on any roadway they will be fined by the park.  There are no food vendors or drink machines at the park, spectators must bring in anything they will need. Location – Everything happens at the Erie Runners Club Beach 1 Pavilion on Presque Isle State Park. This is a 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk to benefit Kids' Chance of PA. We provide scholarships to the children of parents who have been fatally or catastrophically injured in work accidents. Now more than ever, The Main Line Chamber Foundation needs your help as we seek to continue the Volunteer Emergency Responders Scholarship program. Thanks to your past support, during our Hometown Heroes event in June, we were able to provide $50,000 in scholarships to volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians. These outstanding volunteers risk their lives on every call. Registration is $35 until the day of the race. Race Day registration is $40. You may sign up in person on Pre-Race Packet Pick-up or the day of the race. Packet Pick-Up can be either the morning of the race OR at the Pre-Race Packet pick up on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10 AM - 2 PM at Calm and Strong Yoga and Pilates, 46 Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore. Run down Lancaster Avenue through the heart of the Main Line and the beautiful streets of Wayne. This well-organized Run offers a health and fitness expo with booths from local vendors, great tech shirts and chip timing. There are cash awards for the top three finishers, both Female and Male categories. We also have a Master's division awarding $50 to the top Female and Male runner above the age of 40. Medals are also given out to the top three finishers in each age group, both female and male. Lastly, top three teams are given trophies. Jogging strollers are welcome and we do NOT allow pets.
