PI TRI  will take place exclusively on Presque Isle State Park. All segments of the triathlon - the swim, the bike and the run - will start, transition and finish at BEACH 10. The Houtzdale Days 5K Walk/Run and Fireman’s Challenge is an annual event during our Houtzdale Days celebration.  Participants are awarded medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Male and Female in each category.   Registration is $25 for walk/run, $20 for Fireman's Challenge. All proceeds go directly to Houtzdale Fire Company.  REFERRAL OPTIONS TO SAVE MONEY! Every team that registers plays in at least one, 1-hour game and will be matched with an opposing team of similar age and abilities If you register as a dual-slot, your team will have the entire hour with no opposing team schedule, and choose how you wish to play for that hour.

French Creek Racing presents the fifth race of our series of 6 open water swimming races throughout the summer.  You MUST be registered for the FULL SERIES to be eligible for series points and awards. 2025 race dates are: 5/5, 6/2, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4, and 8/25.   Each race will be scheduled on Tuesday afternoon/evening with Thursday as a rain date.  For all dates, we are offering both a 800m and 1600m series option. Race address: 1400 S. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA.  This GPS address will get you to the parking lot.  From the lot, walk the short paved path toward the river and make a left until you see our launch/starting point.  We are approximately 300 yards downstream from the 422 bridge.  Absolutely no parking in front of our launch area. Swimmers should be confident of their ability to swim 800/1600 meters in open water before entering. We follow USAT's guidelines for use of wetsuits. French Creek Racing presents the fifth race of our series of 6 open water swimming races throughout the summer.  You MUST be registered for the FULL SERIES to be eligible for series points and awards. 2025 race dates are: 5/5, 6/2, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4, and 8/25.   Each race will be scheduled on Tuesday afternoon/evening with Thursday as a rain date.  For all dates, we are offering both a 800m and 1600m series option. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA.  This GPS address will get you to the parking lot.  From the lot, walk the short paved path toward the river and make a left until you see our launch/starting point.  We are approximately 300 yards downstream from the 422 bridge.  Absolutely no parking in front of our launch area. Swimmers should be confident of their ability to swim 800/1600 meters in open water before entering. We follow USAT's guidelines for use of wetsuits. PLEASE BE AWARE -- Runners signing up between now and the race will not receive any promotional bags!  The 5K was a hit last year and we’re glad to bring it back to our annual Blueberry Festival in Montrose, PA! Come on out on Saturday, August 2nd for our Second Annual 5K and Fun Run. Work up an appetite on the race course, and then have some blueberry pancakes at our breakfast tent! We have family friendly events happening all day on the Village Green in Montrose, PA. Welcome to our fifth annual Worth the Weight Race set to take place Saturday, August 8th in Old Westmont.
