Walk with OTN - Fundraiser for Open Table Nashville

Nashville, TN
Did you know that on average a person experiencing homelessness often walks 10-15 miles in a day? Open Table Nashville (OTN) is challenging you to join us in walking 15 miles in the month of April to raise money for our street outreach and advocacy programs. OTN is a grassroots non-profit organization that stands in solidarity with our friends on the streets and works to end homelessness through person-centered outreach, housing navigation, community education, and advocacy. Over the month of April, you'll track the miles you walk and ask your friends and family to sponsor you as you go! On May 2nd, we will all come together and walk the final mile together at West Park! This challenge is an opportunity for you to engage in conversation with your community about issues of homelessness while supporting an organization that has been directly addressing homelessness in Nashville for over a decade. Is 15 miles too much of a commitment for you? No problem! You can support Walk With OTN

Run for Missions 2026

Franklin, TN
This is the TENTH year of the revived Franklin FUMC Run for Missions. If you've been around Franklin for decades, you may remember our church's run back in the 1990s. Since then, our church has moved our main campus to Mack Hatcher and Franklin Road with enough land for an entire 5K race on the church property. Come ready for a fun afternoon of running or walking around our more than 100 acres, music by the Grateful Bluegrass Band, and homemade baked goods for prizes!  The missions committee at FUMC helps determine where the proceeds of the race will go according to current needs each year. I'll update the website as soon as we make the choice for this year! Previous year projects have included wonderful organizations like The Giving Garden, ACD Guatemala, Meals On Wheels, Daughters of the King, and Room in the Inn.
