Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run

The Norwegian Foot March is an annual event presented by the Vessey Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA). For the fourth year, it is adding a 30K and 5K Trail Run option open to all military families, Junior and Senior ROTC programs, and the general public. The event's proceeds will benefit the AUSA Troops of Tomorrow initiative, the Minnesota VA Food Pantry, and military programs throughout Minnesota. History of the Norwegian Foot March The Norwegian Foot March was first held in 1915 as a test of strength and endurance for members of the Norwegian military and to expose new soldiers to the conditions they could expect in the field. Those who completed a 30km distance with a backpack load of 11kg within 4.5 hours earned the Marsjmerket, the Norwegian Armed Forces Marching Badge. We'll start the race at Thomas Beach, take a lap around the beautiful lake Bde Maka Ska, and finish back at Thomas Beach. We are raising funds for the International Institute of Minnesota, which supports immigrants and refugees. Founded in 1919, the International Institute of Minnesota offers new Americans quality services to support their journey to stability and success, such as refugee resettlement, English education, career development, and citizenship assistance. We are also raising funds for our program's student society to provide more learning and leadership opportunities for the cohort.  All runners will receive a racing T-shirt! Pulling for the Community

This is a C2 Row Erg 4-person team event located at Outstate Brewing, one of the local breweries. The 4-person teams can be all male, all female, or 2 males & 2 females. This event is  45:00 for meters with awards for the top three teams in each division. Each team will establish an order for their athletes in which they must rotate through that order with each athlete completing at least one full pull on the rower before they can transition out. There is no limit to how long each participant spends on the rower as long as each team completes one full rotation through their athletes. All proceeds from this event go to the Lake Region Healthcare Unity Wellness Foundation Fund to support individuals who want to participate in any of the wellness programs but do not have the means to. Victory Christian Academy's Victory 5K, a certified and sanctioned race through USATF, is a family-friendly community event with a great course and uplifting atmosphere. We are proud to hold the certification and sanctioning to be able to offer the best race possible for our participants. The community of Hibbing is excited to host this run/walk event once again in 2026. The Victory 5K race will provide chip timing, and each participant registered by Friday, April 10 will be guaranteed a customized bib, shirt, and medal. 7th Annual Minnesota 5K SCADaddle for Research

Trail Kids Beginner Mountain Bike Clinics

These clinics are designed for participants ages 7-13 who have no experience riding single track trails (for programming for 13 and older, check out LCW Juniors programs). If you are new to the Trail Kids program, these clinics are highly suggested before taking one of the six-week evening sessions. Mountain bike clinics will be held in open grassy areas with some single track riding. During clinic practices, participants will be instructed by Loppet Trail Kids coaches on a variety of mountain bike skills, so they can become safe and confident riders. All participants must be able to safely ride and operate a bike with gears for shifting and two hand brakes on paved paths prior to attending the Beginner Clinic. The Donut Dash 4K run/walk and Mini Donut kids run will be held Saturday, May 9, 2026. Event proceeds support the Foundation for Winona Area Public Schools and its Forging a Future fundraising campaign, benefitting the Industrial Technology Program at WAPS.The timed 4K (2.5-mile) course is mostly on grass around the scenic property at Winona Senior High School. This walk is for anyone and everyone. All Proceeds will go to a local charity, this years charity has not been selected. Last year we raised over $1000!!!!!! Let's double it this year!  The event is sponsored by the Pole Barn Studio, Aerial Arts Center.  All participants will receive a commemorative item. Join us on Mother's Day morning at 9am to walk the Bridges of Stillwater to help raise Breast Cancer Awareness and help us honor the Fighters, Survivors, Supporters and loved ones we have sadly lost.
