Redeem Mi Run is the main annual fundraising event for the Redeem Mi Land project. Whether you run the half marathon, or run/walk the 5k, come out and have fun! We will have a great time getting together, running, and being part of the land redemption project for Redeem Mi Land in Montague, Mi.  This year the race will be on Halloween! The Traverse City Track Club Zombie Run is a Halloween tradition! Over the years we’ve seen zombies from all walks of life, or should we say death. Who or what will show up this year? Right Brain Brewery will be hosting the run as always. Zombies and beer have always been a winning combination! Make sure to stick around after the race for the medal ceremony, costume prizes, music, post-race refreshments, and most of all zombie socializing! The Alger Heights Halloween 5k is a volunteer led, neighborhood focused 5k fun run. We are a 'small town in a big city' event that seeks to include all individuals and support the betterment of our local community.  From runners seeking their next PR to walkers in costumes all 5k participants are chip timed as the run through the scenic Alger Heights neighborhood during peak fall colors.  We are excited to be back for 2026 with our 14th edition on Saturday October 31st and invite you to come run, jog, walk, or stroll in your best costume! Get ready for a ghoulishly good time! The GVSU Triathlon Club is thrilled to host our annual Halloween 5k on Saturday, October 31st, at 10:00 AM! This isn't your average race! Lace up your running shoes or your wizard's boots for a fun, themed event that's perfect for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or just looking for a fun way to enjoy a fall morning, all are welcome to run, jog, or walk the course. Costumes are highly encouraged (but not required) to add to the festive spirit.

The Haunted Halloween 5K & 10K Run / Walk takes place in a wonderful, fully enclosed venue. 2 laps on the bike path around the lake equals a 5K, and 4 laps equals a 10K. The Start/Finish timing mat will provide a chip start time and record your total time. If you happen to lose count of your laps (hopefully, you can count to 2 or 4), your laps are also recorded. If you feel motivated, you can register for the 5K and 10K Combined event. Run the 5K first and then get in line to run the 10K. This is for running only and not walking. This is a fundraising event, and all proceeds will support the Spring Lake High School boys' volleyball program. While boys' volleyball has been going on for quite some time, it hasn't been sanctioned by the MHSAA until now. Spring Lake boys' volleyball has seen and enjoyed increased participation along with individual and team development. The boys' volleyball program is not school-funded, and as such, this is a Pay-To-Play school sports program. The individual, team, travel, supplies, and MANY other expenses are VERY significant for the season and off-season. This is a Halloween-themed event, and costumes are VERY welcome and encouraged. There will be an award for the best costume. Come in your costume, racing clothes, or casual clothes, and enjoy the Halloween environment. Overall awards for male and female will go 3 deep. Age group awards for male and female will go 3 deep in 5-year age increments up to our oldest participant. Registered participants will receive a long-sleeved "Dri-Fit" tech shirt. We are proud to say that the famed photography service, STELLAFLY, will be on site, shooting the event, capturing the environment, and individual photos. These photos will be available to our participants, free of charge. While we all love our fur babies, please keep your furry loved ones at home, as they are not allowed on the course. Running strollers are allowed, but we ask that you start at the back of the field. There will be 1 aid station located just beyond the Start/Finish line, providing water and Gatorade. This will allow you to replenish liquids multiple times. Post-race snacks for participants and volunteers will be provided. We can also provide team and club discounts. Taking place at Hayes Park in Freeland, participants can expect professionally timed 5K Run/Walk and 5K Run events and an un-timed youth 1 Mile Fun Run. Put on your favorite fall running gear or your halloween costumes and run in a beautiful orchard setting. All Participants receive a T-shirt, a cup of cider, and a donut at the conclusion of the race. Looking for some spooky Halloween fun? Join us for the annual Queen City Trick or Trot 5K/ 10K & Kids Monster Mile on Saturday, October 31st. The Trick or Trot 10K also serves as the UP 10K Championship and participation adds 10 BONUS points to your point total for racers who have signed up for the 2026 Run The UP Challenge Race Series. All Participants in the 5K & 10K will receive a medal, custom socks and a free scoop of gelato courtesy of Provisions MQT. The Monster Mile participants will receive a Monster Mile medal. Proceeds from this race will benefit JJPacks and the Negaunee High School Athletics Booster Club. The course will begin on the 100 block of Washington Street, right in front of Yoop-phoria, Digs and Richardson Jewelers! Participants will race down Washington Street, crossing Front Street and running Past Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery, taking a right onto lakeshore blvd and gradually making their way onto the bike path prior to hitting Main Street. Once they approach the bike path they will head South on the Bike Path towards Harvey. The 5K turnaround will be indicated with signage and will be located before the Carp River Bridge. The 10K turnaround will be located on the bike path before the Michigan Welcome Center and will be indicated by an Aid Station. Both races will finish on the bike path between Spring Street and Baraga Avenue. The Kids Monster Mile will begin on the bike path (In front of the Thill's Parking Lot that coincides with the Old Ore Dock), and will head north on the bike path, turning around just after the entrance to lower harbor park. Come on out and join us for the newest Michigan Trail Experience race. Experience a beautiful 4.167 mile loop through Sleepy Hollow State Park. The park contains over 2,600 acres including a river winding its way through the woods. The course will take you through prairie grass fields, hardwood forest, and stands of Pine trees. This race is a 12hr Back Yard Ultra, last man standing rules, with an option to do the single lap. Elevation gain 151ft The single lap option will start at 9:00am. This race will be chip timed, with live results. This will be one loop around the BYU course. The 12hr option will start at 9:00am. All runners will start the loop at the top of the hour and must complete the lap within the hour. Top of the next hour runners start next lap. If a runner doesn't report and start at the top of the hour the runner is out. If you complete the 12hrs you will have done 50miles. A headlamp is required for the last couple of laps sunset is 6:21pm. The Clare Pumpkin Run is 5K Run/Walk that will start with registration at the Emerald Isle Recreation Complex at 303 Pinecrest Street, Clare, MI 48617 at 9:00 a.m. The costume contest will take place prior to the run start time at 9:45 a.m. and the run/walk course will start at the Emerald Isle Recreation Complex throughout the complex trail and out onto Dunlop Street and back. The Oceana County Department of Veteran's Affairs annual 5K run happens on the second Saturday of November. The race start/end is at the newly renovated Getty Park in Downtown Shelby and follows Industrial Drive north before looping back south on the Hart-Montague Trail.  The Vet Day 5K is the primary fundraising event for the OCDVA and 100% of the proceeds stay in the county to support Oceana County veterans for items like transportation to medical appointments, food pantry, and other needs. The Iceman Cometh Challenge, presented by Trek, takes place on Saturday, November 7, 2026. The Ice Cycle Expo and packet pickup, presented by Michigan Bicycle Law, will be held Friday, November 6 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, MI. More than 5,400 men and women, along with 600 children across 77 age divisions, participate in Iceman weekend each year. The signature event is a roughly 30-mile point-to-point cross-country mountain bike race from Kalkaska to Traverse City, Michigan. Baby joggers are allowed on both the 10k and 5k course, though we ask that participants remain to the rear of the pack at start and remain considerate of other participants. Regular strollers may be used for the 5k run/walk, but again we would ask that participants pushing strollers remain to the rear of the pack at start of the race. What does “USATF Sanctioning” mean? It means that organizers have followed a process with USA Track & Field that requires creation of a safety plan and purchase of outstanding insurance covering participants, volunteers, sponsors, partners and organizers of the event. It also means that your race results will be official for scoring purposes (assuming you track that sort of thing). What happens if the event is cancelled? Will I receive a refund? If the race is cancelled for reasons Organizers can control then we will work diligently to provide a refund or transfer of registration to another event. However, cancellation due to government regulations, extreme weather or local emergency is not controlled by organizers and is not reason for reimbursement. The waiver includes an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to abide by the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations for the prevention of the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and other communicable diseases, which can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html. Upon arrival to group runs, participants will need to show the group run director proof of their signed waiver via their phone or paper copy. We welcome all runners to join us in our group runs if you feel comfortable participating in a responsible, socially distanced environment.
