The TWA Flight 800 Memorial 5k run and walk is held to honor and remember the 21 beautiful souls lost on July 17, 1996. Join us this year to honor the 30th Anniversary. The run is a flat 5k course through scenic Indian Park in Montoursville. The walk will start after the run so that runners can join the walkers 1.5 miles to the Memorial Gardens on Broad Street near the Montoursville High School. Proceeds from the run and walk will go to the TWA Flight 800 Memorial Garden Perpetual Care Fund. Online registration will close on Saturday, June 27.  Race day registration will be available starting at 7:30am.  Race day sign ups do not guarantee a race shirt and will end 30 minutes before the race start.  Race Day Schedule: 7:30am Registration9am 5k Race Start10:30am 1.5 Mile Walk A Virtual race option is available this year for $45.  The extra expense is to cover shipping cost of the race shirt.

Location: This event is held on a state park, which requires certain limitations. Thus, there is a 3 hour time limit on the course. Anyone not maintaining a 14 minute per mile pace will be directed to the all-purpose trail next to the course as the course closes. Depending on conditions on race day, you may need to go to all-purpose trail sooner if requested by the park rangers. There is no day of race registration at the venue, please sign up online prior to race day. AT THE "STRONG SUGGESTION" of the City of Philadelphia Office of Risk Management we are postponing the 2026 Souper Bowl 5K due to the expected conditions at race time and the heavy exposure at the Northeast Philadelphia Airport. In keeping with the information below we have requested the July 25, 2026, race date, keeping with the opening of TRAINING CAMP. As soon as that is approved we will reopen registration. We will be starting at 8:30AM and the give away will change from a soup mug to a pint glass.   Super Football Weekend  There’s a new race, coming to Northeast Philly on the Saturday before the BIG GAME!   A 5K on a shorter version of the NorFEAST 4 Miler course, along the Northeast Philadelphia Airport bike path. The turn around will be near Avalon Street along Academy Road.   Like the big game we’ll have a late start.   Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration beings at 10:00AM inside Northeast SkateZone.   The race doesn’t start until 11:00AM so you can sleep in on Saturda

It’s a Wonderful Life 5K and Christmas in July FestivalJoin us on July 25th, 2026 for our It’s a Wonderful Life 5K and Christmas in July Festival! Run starts at 8 AM. The run starts and ends in Downtown Indiana, PA. Athletes registered online by June 25th, 2026 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.  T-shirts are an additional $10 on top of registration. No shows forfeit t-shirts. Each athlete participating will receive a special gift for running in our event!  We know the cause for a 5k is important to our racers and we thank you for this! Profits from the race will support the Its a Wonderful Life Parade in Downtown Indiana!

Prize Money to the Overall male and female 10k winners Race is located at Goddard State Park . Out and back course on the bike trail. : DJ Jeff Dunn will be playing music and the national anthem. 10k homemade wooden finisher medals for all 10k finishers. The Connecting Champions Charity Run is held in memory of Victoria Ondo-Burnfin, who was a Connecting Champions intern and mentor. Victoria was a source of inspiration–teaching us to chase our dreams and not let anything, even cancer, hold us back. We’re humbled and grateful for the opportunity to honor Victoria’s memory through the smiles on our participants’ faces and the hope in their eyes. #TeamVic  Note: Register by 7/2 to receive a race shirt. Join us for this year's annual Chalk the Block 5K Race in conjunction with our beautiful art festival. The race will take place on Sunday July 27th at 9am. The starting line will be at the Union Street playground and the finish line will be on W Main St in front of Great Day Juice.

The 2026 Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K, and 8K will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026.  Three distances to choose from, including the 8K that was added last year.  This proved to be a popular addition for new trail runners as well as those who would like a shorter distance.   We are looking forward to returning to Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, PA and hope to see you there.  The Deer Fly is directed by trail runners for trail runners. The Deer Fly is a fun and challenging trail race with a mix of single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings.  Aid stations approximately every four miles, but carrying water is strongly recommended.  Post-race Bona's Pizza compliments of Steve Pagano. The 39th Annual The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve. There are 3 route options available: the full 65-mile route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City; the 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City; and the 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City.  Upon arrival at the finish line at the Showboat Hotel, riders are greeted by friends and family, volunteers and supporters where we celebrate their amazing physical accomplishment and raise additional funds at our legendary after party.
