Sharpen skills, ramp up fitness, and re-energize motivation during our four-day USA Triathlon designated draft-legal camp in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Designed for youth, junior, and NCAA draft-legal triathletes, Draft Camp focuses on sharpening skills through repetition, ramping up fitness through daily training and recovery, and re-energizing motivation through friendly competition. And our early July timing provides a perfect daily training environment for youth and junior draft-legal triathletes leading into the final qualifier July 12 and the National Championship August 1-2, and NCAA triathletes preparing for their fall 2026 collegiate season.

Team Vark 2026 registration opens March 31, 2026 and is open to the first 200 people.   Team Vark is more than just a group—it's a community of runners united by a love for the sport and the camaraderie it brings. Supported by Aardvark Sports Shop, we come together for our Saturday morning runs to push ourselves, share the experience, and inspire each other. The New Holland Coffee truck will be at our event to kick off the festival! Runners (and walkers!) of all ages welcome! The Swissvale Mile is a community family-friendly fitness event. Choose from a one mile timed race or a dog-friendly, family fun walk. The Swissvale Mile is a 100% volunteer organized event funded by registrations, sponsorships, and donations. In addition to supporting our community, this event is a fun way to be active and to get to know the neighbors and neighborhood. ​Your involvement makes a direct positive impact on our community! Michael aka "Chip" Cawley lived a life full of passion and perseverance. Whether it was fishing at every river and lake he came across, snowboarding with his buds, going on hikes, riding on his quad, or golfing with his poppy, he lived true to himself. Curious about the world, Michael strived to learn about various interests. He was a graduate of Valley  View High School and Marywood University with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology. While at Valley View, he was a member of the wrestling and soccer teams. He was also trained by Greg Mancuso as a kickboxer at Northeast Karate. He never limited himself and always accomplished his dreams. Some of his many including excelling at his new job and buying a house. He saw people for who they were and treated everyone with kindness and humility. He loved all animals especially his boxer doggos. He was a caring son and enjoyed spending time with his parents Stacey & Brett. After recently being diagnosed with epilepsy, Michael pas

The Splash Dash kicks off an all day Celebration for America 250 in Cressona.  The Splash Dash is a 2.50 mile FUN* run/walk that promises to be a fun event for all ages and abilities.  You will traverse through the streets of Cressona to support our beloved town pool that needs $1.2 million dollars in repairs and upgrades before we can re-open it.  Rally your friends and family and even your pets, and join folks of all ages and skill levels.  We do ask that the only wheels allowed on the course, for safety, are strollers or wagons, please. *Please note this is an un-timed event.  Participants are welcome to use self-timers, if interested.  We are trying to promote community spirit as we start our pool fundraising. The action starts and ends at the town pool on Graeff Street, where plenty of parking is available.  The streets of Cressona will be full of folks cheering you on too!  The Cressona Band will be playing for us and celebrating with us, as we finish our FUN run/walk. The TWA Flight 800 Memorial 5k run and walk is held to honor and remember the 21 beautiful souls lost on July 17, 1996. Join us this year to honor the 30th Anniversary. The run is a flat 5k course through scenic Indian Park in Montoursville. The walk will start after the run so that runners can join the walkers 1.5 miles to the Memorial Gardens on Broad Street near the Montoursville High School. Proceeds from the run and walk will go to the TWA Flight 800 Memorial Garden Perpetual Care Fund.
