Join us for this year's annual Chalk the Block 5K Race in conjunction with our beautiful art festival. The race will take place on Sunday July 27th at 9am. The starting line will be at the Union Street playground and the finish line will be on W Main St in front of Great Day Juice.

The Sewickley Sundae 5K and 1 mile fun walk will lead participants through the charming village of Sewickley ending with a Fabulous Foam Finish and build your own sundaes at the finish line celebration.

The Connecting Champions Charity Run is held in memory of Victoria Ondo-Burnfin, who was a Connecting Champions intern and mentor. Victoria was a source of inspiration–teaching us to chase our dreams and not let anything, even cancer, hold us back. We’re humbled and grateful for the opportunity to honor Victoria’s memory through the smiles on our participants’ faces and the hope in their eyes. #TeamVic  Note: Register by 7/2 to receive a race shirt. The 39th Annual The Ben to The Shore Bike Tour on Sunday, July 26th, 2026 is a charity bike ride that raises money to provide necessary financial relief for the families of fallen or critically injured first responders and cultivate positive relationships and interactions between police officers and the children in the communities they serve. There are 3 route options available: the full 65-mile route from Philadelphia to Atlantic City; the 30-mile route from Hammonton, NJ to Atlantic City; and the 10-mile route from Galloway, NJ to Atlantic City.  Upon arrival at the finish line at the Showboat Hotel, riders are greeted by friends and family, volunteers and supporters where we celebrate their amazing physical accomplishment and raise additional funds at our legendary after party.

The 2026 Run With The Deer Flies 25K, 15K, and 8K will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026.  Three distances to choose from, including the 8K that was added last year.  This proved to be a popular addition for new trail runners as well as those who would like a shorter distance.   We are looking forward to returning to Camp Seph Mack near Penn Run, PA and hope to see you there.  The Deer Fly is directed by trail runners for trail runners. The Deer Fly is a fun and challenging trail race with a mix of single-track trails, pipeline roads, swamps, hills, and creek crossings.  Aid stations approximately every four miles, but carrying water is strongly recommended.  Post-race Bona's Pizza compliments of Steve Pagano. A 10-week program to help you comfortably progress to a healthy habit of walking, jogging, or running at a pace that is right for you. First Strides® meets weekly, please come dressed for activity. Our workout program is formatted with: Local experts offering short fitness and wellness presentations on topics ranging from nutrition to what to wear to injury preventionGentle warm-up exercisesGroup walk/run (determined by pace)Post-work out stretchesTips, techniques, and guidance from group mentors Women from ages 12 to 112 are welcome to attend. Join with your daughters, mothers, neighbors, co-workers and friends. Participants are expected to have approval from their doctors to participate. Participants are also expected to comply with any pandemic or public health guidelines that we will have in place based on local, state and federal requirements. Our mentors are First Strides® graduates, Women’s 5K Classic committee members and Lehigh Valley Road Runners (LVRR) members. We are hosting 2 workshops this summer/fall at the Lehigh Parkway. You may choose Tuesday nights, Thursday nights, or opt for both. We meet in the evening @ 6:15 pm and the program runs Tuesdays July 28 – September 29 and Thursdays July 30 - October 1. PI TRI  will take place exclusively on Presque Isle State Park. All segments of the triathlon - the swim, the bike and the run - will start, transition and finish at BEACH 10. Sundown Rundown isn’t just a race. It’s a battle against the clock. Trail Circuit Run: 1.6-ish miles to +35.7 miles. We run until it's done! One start. One course. A lot of shared effort. The clock shrinks, the laps stack up, and the group naturally reshapes itself. Between rounds, there’s time to catch your breath, share a laugh, and decide to go out one more time. However far you make it, you’re part of the night and part of how end Summer Camp on a high note. And when it’s all over share burgers, s'mores, stories, and celebrate the night’s together. The 22nd annual Steelman Racing Triathlon will be held on August 2nd, 2026, at Lake Nockamixon State Park in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Why should you race the Steelman Racing Triathlon? It's because this race has it all! It is perfect for the veteran triathlete looking for a challenging event to hone their skills, or for new triathletes exploring the sport for the first time. The swim, bike, and run conditions for this race could not be better and this course is waiting to test your endurance. In early August, the water temperature in Lake Nockamixon will be in the high 70s. The bike portion of the race is held on the rolling hills of Route 563 on the COMPLETELY CLOSED bike course! Racers have complete rule over the freshly paved roads allowing them to focus solely on performing at their highest level. HOW REGISTRATION WORKS The event is comprised of 24, 1-hour games in a row and is open to men's and women's teams of all ages and abilities. Every team that registers plays in at least one, 1-hour game and will be matched with an opposing team of similar age and abilities If you register as a dual-slot, your team will have the entire hour with no opposing team schedule, and choose how you wish to play for that hour.

French Creek Racing presents the fifth race of our series of 6 open water swimming races throughout the summer.  You MUST be registered for the FULL SERIES to be eligible for series points and awards. 2025 race dates are: 5/5, 6/2, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4, and 8/25.   Each race will be scheduled on Tuesday afternoon/evening with Thursday as a rain date.  For all dates, we are offering both a 800m and 1600m series option. Race address: 1400 S. Trooper Rd., Norristown, PA.  This GPS address will get you to the parking lot.  From the lot, walk the short paved path toward the river and make a left until you see our launch/starting point.  We are approximately 300 yards downstream from the 422 bridge.  Absolutely no parking in front of our launch area. Swimmers should be confident of their ability to swim 800/1600 meters in open water before entering. We follow USAT's guidelines for use of wetsuits. Anything below 78ºF will be wetsuit legal and above 78º will be non-wetsuit. Anyone who wishes t

Remaining Race Dates: September 2 This is a free 5k race series which includes 5 races held on the first Wednesday of each month from May through September. You do not need to be an LVRR club member to participate in this series. Sign up online and come out to Lehigh Parkway for this relaxed, no-frills race.   The course is accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.  Due to scheduled repairs to Bogarts Bridge, the course will be modified in 2025   Course Map   Race Day Check-In: Begins at 5:30 PM - All runners must check in. Age: Racers must be 10 years of age. Time Limit: 60 minutes (19:35 minute/mile) Start Time: Begins at 6:30 PM with the exception of September which begins at 6:00 PM   We will no longer host the Potluck Dinner – The club will provide hotdogs, water and chips.  Please do not bring food to share.
