We'll be bringing back this this spooky 5K to the Rochester area. The Rochester Boos & Brews 5K will be heading to Mendon, NY for 2026. The 5K will take place on the Lehigh Valley Trail. Costumes are not required but highly recommended. We will have a costume contest to go along with the Overall Winners and Age Group Winners!  This is truly an event where fun and run collide to make ONE! This event will be a proud partner with David's Refuge (Rochester) as they raise funds to provide respite, resources and support to parents and guardians of children with special needs or life threatening medical conditions where they will be refreshed, restored and renewed in their role as caregivers. Other sections are on soft ground that feels like you are immersed in nature. Malverne 5K Run-Walk The Malverne 5K run-walk for education is organized by the Malverne Educational and Fitness Foundation (MEFF). The net proceeds of the 5K run go to the MEFF, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth programs within the Malverne school district. The packet pickup and day-of-run registration take place at Malverne High School, starting at 7:30 a.m. (school located east of Ocean Ave.). The main event, the 5K run, is preceded by a fun run (200 meters) for children aged 10 and under. The fun run starts at 8:30. The start of the kids run is at the intersection of Wicks Ln and N Cambridge Street. Kids (and their parents) run on Wicks Ln toward the start line of the 5K run at H.T. 38th Annual Prospect Park Fall Duathlon

Race Start Time and Location: Here we are at the last race of our 2026 season! On 11/1, we are back in Brooklyn one last time for our Prospect Park Fall Duathlon! This is the perfect way to end our 2026 season with beautiful Fall weather and foliage throughout the park. As is tradition, we will have our post race BBQ as well, so bring your appetite. Just like our April edition of the race, you are running the entire outer loop of the park in your 2nd run, all 3.3 miles with 140ft elevation gain! Here is what you can expect on race day. At 7:30 am the race will start in Lincoln Field by the triangle grass area by the Well House Dr (E Lake Dr and Lincoln Rd entrance). Run #1 beginning at 7:30 am is a fast loop around the park’s inner circle. Athletes will set out along East Dr and make a left through Center Dr, where you will cut across the park, exiting west side. With little gain in elevation you’ll head around Prospect Park Lake where you will pick up speed as you head in for the bike

Join us for our second annual fast-paced indoor triathlon at the Y!  This sprint-style event is great for first-timers and seasoned athletes alike. Participants will swim in our 25-yard pool, bike on a spin bike, and run on a treadmill — each for a set amount of time. Distances in each discipline will be recorded to determine your overall results. Bound for the Hounds 6 Hour Ultra is being held to raise funds to support our local dog park!  Runners and walkers will have 6 hours to complete as many 2.3 mile out-and-backs of the Manchester Gateway Trail as they choose.  The trail is made of packed cinder and pavement (similar to the canal path) and has gentle rollers that seem to grow as the day goes on.  *Your canine companions are welcome as long as they are well-behaved on a leash at all times!    *The race director reserves the right to ask a dog's human to remove their dog from the event if any issues arise.
