Giant redwoods dominate the landscape in our Santa Cruz Trail Run. Aside from coiling single-track that opens up to expansive roads and paths–and even sand–participants will enjoy the ocean breezes pouring in from the Santa Cruz coast. This race delivers everything from river crossings to high ridges with aid stations every 5-6 miles for refueling before tackling the next beautiful, albeit strenuous, section. USAT Sanctioned Super Sprint Triathlon.   Perfect for beginners, or a tune-up before your next big race. 400 yd swim | 5.4 mile bike | 2.2 mile run Swim: Starting in the water at Millerton, athletes will utilize Millerton Lake Boat Launch. Athletes will swim 400 yards around buoys, back to the boat ramp, exit the water and proceed to the Transition Area. Bike: Starting at the Transition Area, athletes will make their way north towards the Millerton park entrance, to the turnaround at the top Millerton Lake SRA sign. The bike is out and back with rolling hills. Returning to the transition area. Run: Run is all asphalt road. Starting at the Transition Area, athletes head north from the parking lot along the street for approximately 1.1 miles towards the Millerton park entrance to the turn around, (at the crosswalk), and back to the finish line.

The Sandman Triathlon is one of Santa Cruz County’s oldest triathlons, having held its inaugural race in 1985, in the infancy of the sport. The Sandman is a fundraiser for: the local State Parks,Lifeguard operations,the Junior Lifeguard program.Proceeds help fund scholarships for underprivileged kids so they can receive high-quality water safety education. The Sandman Triathlon is a USAT-sanctioned event.

The inaugural Apple City 5k! Come run fun easy trails and be a part of the Watsonville community! Going back to the roots of farming in Watsonville, the Apple City 5k at Pinto Lake County Park is a dedication to agricultural history and life of the Pajaro Valley.  Participants will experience the scenic meadows and trails of the county park, with gentle trails circling the whole park.  The kids 1k will go around the soccer fields near the starting/finish line.  This race is hosted by the Santa Cruz Track Club Fall Race series with 50% of funds going to the Pajaro Valley Education Foundation to support the students of the Pajaro Valley.

Join us for the second event in our Sunset series - The Sunset Mile! Music, food and running! Celebrate a night under the lights with us by running 4 laps on the track! This event is open to all ability levels.  All participants will receive a post race meal ticket for our food truck partner, Birreria y Tacos Doña Betty. Finishers will also receive a commemorative race medal, and winners of each heat will get a special surprise. ASICS will have spikes and super shoes for you to demo during the race so you can hit your fastest time!  Heats will be seeded based on expected finish times, and will be announced the day before the event. The 9/11 Run to Remember 5k and 1m walk will be held on Saturday September 5th. The 9/11 Run to Remember was established to honor and remember the 2,977 people lost in the horrific 9/11 terrorist attack. The run starts and finishes at the California 9/11 Memorial in Clovis, CA, a permanent monument which is the largest of its kind outside of New York City.

The 97th Annual Oceanside Pier Swim is set to take place on September 7, 2026, continuing a cherished tradition that began in 1929. Swimmers of all ages are invited to participate in this one-mile swim around the iconic Oceanside Pier, the longest wooden pier on the West Coast.  Hosted by local organization, Oceanside Masters Swim Club, the club hopes to grow Oceanside Aquatics and community from youth to adulthood. Proceeds from the swim will benefit youth swim programs, high school swim teams, adult swim teams and our local first responders.

OUR CAUSE Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD) is a little-known and poorly understood cause of a heart attack. Most patients are young, healthy, and active women who do not have the typical risk factors of heart disease. Although less common, it can affect men too. SCAD can reoccur and can be fatal. Research is needed to identify the cause(s) and the best treatment options. SCAD is the #1 cause of heart attacks in women under age 50, pregnant women & new moms.   SCADaddle Our timed 5K run/walk takes place on the south side of Crown Point Park in San Diego on Mission Bay. Enjoy the course along the bay on the bay side walkway.  Free Parking. Awards will be given to the overall winner male and female. Please join us for the River Run back for a great 6th year in 2026.   A family-friendly event that will be fun for everyone!  You'll be able to run or walk a 5K distance or a 1Mile untimed fun run. The River Run 2026 is a unique experience that meanders through a working sand and gravel quarry.  The events take you inside the Southside Sand and Gravel Quarry to see the working quarry site, the banks of the San Benito River, specialized equipment that processes the rock, and beautiful natural surroundings. River Run benefits the YMCA of San Benito County and begins promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12th 2026. Check in begins at 7:00am. Pricing is available for individuals or families.  The family pricing option is available for families/groups of 4 or more participants.   The event is located the the Graniterock Sand and Gravel Quarry at 5632 Airline Highway, Hollister, CA 95023. Free parking is available at the race site.

Iconic Open Water Swim held in La Jolla, California the first Sunday after Labor almost every year since 1916.  There are four swim events available on race day.  250 Meter kids race "Garibaldi Grommets"1 Mile "Sea Lions"3 Mile "Leopard Sharks"4 Mile "Whole Enchilada" Swimmers compete in both the 1 mile & 3 mile events  - there is about an hour between the 2 swims. All swimmers receive an event t-shirt. All finishers receive a finisher's medal. There are Age Group Medals awarded that follow U.S. Masters Swimming age brackets. For the kids race it is by individual year. 8 year olds will only be competing with 8 years etc up through 12 years of age.

There will be a 1.2-mile ocean swim as well as a half mile ocean swim. There will be a wet-suit and non-wet suit category. Start your day with a refreshing open-water swim in the Pacific Ocean right at Crystal Cove State Beach. Next, tackle the bike on a fully closed, rolling course along the iconic Pacific Coast Highway.
