The Cavalier Homecoming 5k Run/Walk is an event for all ages and abilities! Join the Cavalier Community as we kick off Homecoming week with our traditional scenic 5K loop through Fair Mott Park and Dye Meadows.   Exciting additions for 2026: The Color Run: A fun-run style, shorter course perfect for those looking to get sprinkled in vibrant colors!   The Cavalier Combo: Can't decide? Pre-registration will close at 7pm on 9/18, but there will be same day registration starting at 7 am on the 19th! The Cheboygan Area is excited for you to explore all of the trails in their region. Join us for the Tap into the Trails 5k or 10k to explore Cheboygan and the trails available to you from the heart of town. The 5k and 10k will explore how easy it is to access the North Central State Trail from downtown Cheboygan for a fairly flat course on both pavement and crushed limestone.  The 10k course will highlight both the North Central State Trail and the North Eastern State Trail, starting from Festival Square in Downtown Cheboygan.Route Map.Please note, a portion of this course will be on road. The Dirty Mitten is a great early fall race and a proud member of the Boundless RR Co. Grand Prix and a premier event for the I Love Gravel Racing Series. The race starts and ends at the YMCA’s Camp Manitou-Lin in Middleville, MI. Situated halfway between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, it’s a convenient venue for just about all of West Michigan so you have no excuse not to come out!

The Escanaba Fall Classic Half Marathon | 5K Run/Walk, scheduled for Saturday, September 19th, 2026, will be run on a fast/scenic course, showcasing Escanaba, MI in September!  The Fall Classic Half will be chip-timed and feature long-sleeve shirts and sweet finisher medals...5K finishers will also receive a shirt and medal, with overall and age-group awards.  We have a lot of fun planned! Come join the horses at our annual Peace Ranch Wilderness 5K/10 run/walk on Sept.21, 2024. The 5K is like none other as it winds through hard packed sand roads through the beautiful Pere Marquette Forest. 2026 marks the 33rd anniversary of the Capital City River Run. The Capital City River Run makes a real impact within the community, benefiting Impression 5 Science Center and its mission to provide children and families access to science exploration through hands-on exhibits and participatory programming. Annual races include a Half Marathon, 5K Walk/Run, and the Sohn’s Kid’s Race. The LMCU Bridge Run has been providing the community with a premier starting line to accomplish goals since 2002 and we invite you to join us in person or virtually to keep the tradition "running" (pun intended)! Whether you pick the 10 Mile Run or 5K Run/Walk, be assured you will have a great race day experience running through downtown Grand Rapids and of course, crossing the many bridges in the city. The 2026 Bridge Run will take place on SUNDAY, September 20 and will be located on the west side of the 6th Street Bridge (use 731 Front Ave NW, Grand Rapids, 49504 in your GPS for our physical location). The historic 6th Street bridge is an icon and a favorite of our event participants. The Driathlon: a triathlon type event minus the swim plus the paddle! Team/Relay Division: 5K Canoe (PROVIDED), 20K Bike, 5K Run. Done as a two-person team or two-person relay.  TEAM, both partners will participate in all 3 events; canoe bike run.  RELAY, both partners will canoe, one partner will bike, and the other partner will run (or one person does both) when the biker is finished. The purpose of the 9th Annual Emerson the Brave Stampede 5K Fun Run & Color Run is to raise vital funds and awareness for DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), DMG (diffuse midline glioma) and other pediatric brain cancers in honor of our forever 12-year old daughter, Emerson. Emerson battled DMG and radiation induced high grade glioma brain cancers for over 6 years before losing her battle in July 2024. Less than 2% of children diagnosed with DIPG/DMG survive 5 years post diagnosis. Emerson’s miracle survival was due to research and clinical trials supported by The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. The 5 Mile International Bridge Run on Day 1 is a RUN.  You are required to maintain a pace of 15 minutes per mile or faster in order to ensure the International Bridge can open back up in the appropriate time.  This is NOT A WALK.  Those who walk the entire course and are struggling to maintain pace may be asked to stop and receive a shuttle from the International Bridge Authority.  There is a free annual walking event over the International Bridge in late June that usually coincides with Engineers Day.  There is a 5K Walk downtown that DOES NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE on Day 2 with its own division.   The 2026 Sault International Festival of Races will take place September 26-27, 2026.  Races will begin at 8:00am on both Saturday (5 Mile Bridge Run) and Sunday (Half Marathon, 5K Run, and 5K Walk).  For those traveling from Canada make sure to note the bridge will have a specific closing time prior to the race (7:45-9:45am).  Give yourself additional time in case of a traffic backup.  The la

Join the Michigan Men's Health Foundation for our 15th annual Men’s Health Event on September 20, 2025, at Ford Field from 9a-3p! Since our first Men’s Health Event in 2011, we have provided nearly 118,000 FREE life-saving screenings to over 10,000 attendees. We have helped countless men gain control over their health and identified critical illnesses including hypertensive crises, diabetes, and prostate cancer, to name a few. The Men's Health Event will provide men with health screenings to assess their current health, give them a better understanding of how to stay healthy, and share information about advances in healthcare. All health screenings are FREE for men, no insurance necessary. Men age 18 and older will be eligible to receive health screenings.
