Celebrate America's 250th Birthday and get your July 4th holiday moving with the Rotary Club of Westerville’s Independence Day 5K at 8 AM Saturday, July 4! National Rd., Englewood, OH 45322 PARKING:  From either east or west, take I-70 to the State Route 48 exit and head north on Route 48 into Englewood.  DO NOT CROSS DAM. The 2026 Myers Running Camp will be held on July 9-12, 2026. Myers Running camp is an overnight running camp located at Camp Oty’Okwa near Old Mans Cave in beautiful Hocking Hills, Ohio. The camp is open to all students entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2026. A full refund will be issued less a $50 administrative fee for any cancellation received at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the camp session. Any cancellations received less than 3 week prior to the start of the camp session will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellation notices and refund requests must be emailed to chadmyers262@gmail.com. The registration fee cannot be transferred to any other campers.

Signing up for all six races cost $100 ($120-150 if you do them each individually at each race website or the day of the race), making it a little over $16 per race.  All races paid individually will be $20 online and $25 the day of the race.  The six races and dates are:  2025 Huron 5k Challenge Series .   The total runners for the Series amounted to just over 1,300 participates, which  was 216 participants per race.   The six 5k races were Huron River Run, Abbey Rose Color Run, Beulah Beach run, Huron PTO glow run, St. Pete’s Spooktacular, and the Judi Lively Turkey Dash.  Twenty-one participants finished four or more races to receive a special backpacks.  Nine of the 21 finished all 6 races and also received a $25 gift card to a local business or restaurant. Benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! CATHY'S STORY Cathy's journey with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma began in Feb 1996, six years before her official diagnosis. In1996, she raised $3200 for LLS, possibly sensing her future battle. In Nov 2011, she developed symptoms andunderwent treatment at Cleveland Clinic from 2012 to 2013, managing chemo and hair loss. She nevercomplained and continued to work full time and teaching reading to underprivileged children one day a weekduring her scheduled lunch. And she continued to run at least 20 to 30 miles per week. In Dec 2013, Cathy opted for an aggressive bone cell transplant. Despite the three-week sterile procedure, sheremained active, walking the halls, spreading smiles, and resumed work and her normal physical activities, whichincluded running, hiking, water aerobics, and yoga,post-release. 2014 brought ups and downs. Although she did not receive any further chemo, she required periodic scans andremained on medication for h

The Jason William Hunt Foundation's mission is to A) inform families in crisis of the value of therapeutic wilderness expedition treatment programs to effect life-saving changes in teens at-risk and B) provide financial assistance to help defray such treatment costs. These clinically supervised and controlled programs may last from 40 to 89 days at an average cost of $600.00 a day.
