The 2026 Peachtree City Classic is officially live and now accepting registrations for both our 5K and 15K events! Both courses are USATF-certified, with the 5K serving as a Peachtree Road Race Qualifier and the 15K proudly designated as an RRCA State Championship Event. This year marks our 46th anniversary. Since its inception in 1981, the Peachtree City Classic has been a beloved tradition and cornerstone event in Peachtree City, Georgia, bringing runners together for decades of competition, community, and celebration. Our courses truly showcase the best of Peachtree City. Runners will enjoy miles of scenic, paved golf cart paths that wind past lakes, through charming tunnels, over bridges, and alongside the city’s beautiful greenbelt areas. Please join us for the Warner Robins Police Department Glow Run 2026! This event will be held at Freedom Field (111 Bear Country Blvd. Warner Robins, GA 31088) on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The event will open at 6:00 pm and the 5K will begin at 8:00 pm. This is not just a 5k, it is a family friendly event that will have Vendors, Food Trucks, Police & Fire Vehicles on Display, Bouncy Houses, and Face Painting!  A race t-shirt and a finisher medal will be guaranteed to the first 600 registered runners. Your participation in the Quail Trail 5K supports the Pebble Hill Preservation Fund, which helps offset the ongoing maintenance and historic preservation of the museum’s main house and expansive 3,000-acre grounds. The Thriller Lake Endurance Run is a 12, 6, and 3 hour timed loop event on the 2.2 mile loop around Miller Lake at Little Mulberry Park in Gwinnett County, GA. It's a Halloween party combined with a race, featuring runners in costume, food, and music.For 2025, Classic Running and Mount To Coast are providing overall winners with their choice of shoes! The Trick or Treat Fun Run is for kids and adults of all ages looking for a trick or treat experience in a fun, safe, and positive community setting. Participants will complete one loop of the Miller Lake paved 2.2 mile trail with plenty of opportunities to experience the magic of Halloween. Costumes are highly encouraged, practically required! Join us for our 1st annual Legacy 5K in honor of the late Pastor Frederick T. Anderson. Pastor Anderson is the founding pastor of Covenant Christian Ministries and a leader in Marietta for over 30 years. He and his wife ran a private school, Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, in Marietta for 25 years, which matriculated numerous students who were not only native to Georgia but came from various parts of the world. Since 2016 the church has been meeting at various locations Cobb Galleria, McEachern Auditorium, The Mansour Center, but we settled at Smitha Middle School in 2019. It was Pastor Anderson's goal to build a permanent home for Covenant Christian Ministries, and all proceeds from the 5K will go toward making that vision a reality. The Boston Mini Marathon and 5K races are certified and professionally timed. They start in downtown Boston, wind through our farm land community and out into the fresh October country air. The entire route is paved, lined with refreshment stands every 2.5 miles and porta-potties at miles 2, 5, 7, and 11. The rolling hills are not extreme, though the final stretch can be a nice uphill challenge. At the finish line are healthy eats and drinks for each participant designed to speed your recovery. After that, roam around the downtown area and enjoy the festival of food, drinks and family-style southern hospitality!

In an effort to help raise awareness and resources,  DA Racine is inviting you to support the annual Trek or Treat 5k Justice Run!   Douglas County District Attorney Dalia Racine partners annually with the ATIR-Wellness Community Inc. to raise funds for local domestic violence support organizations. This year SHAREHouse, the Trinity Center, and the Douglas County Solicitor's Office has partnered alongside the Douglas County District Attorney's Office and the ATIR Community for the race. The 2025 race will take place at Boundary Waters Park located in Douglasville, GA. The course is USATF-certified and an official Peachtree Road Race qualifier! Come join us for the 5th  annual running of The Boo! On Broad will be Saturday, October 31.  This race is the beginning of the excitement leading into the mayhem that happens on Broad St every Halloween. We will be giving prizes for best costumes, all participants are encouraged to dress up. We will have a 1K Fun Run that starts at 8:00am. The 5K begins at 8:30am. Both races start on Broad St and finish in front of the Statham Elementary School Gym. Proceeds from both runs will benefit the SES and Bear Creek Middle School Running Clubs. The running club at SES is for 4th and 5th graders and the earnings will go to much needed running clothes and apparel for the students. The running club at BCMS includes 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are also in need of clothes and apparel as well as track and field equipment. Both clubs promote a healthy lifestyle and a source of self-confidence and accomplishment for the students.

The Silver Comet Half Marathon & Full Marathon are out and back USATF Certified races held entirely on the beautiful Silver Comet Trail just outside Atlanta in Mableton Georgia the last Saturday of each October.  The marathon is a Boston Qualifier event.   Our grass root events are perfect for first timers or competitive runners seeking PRs.  The Silver Comet Trail is beautiful and provides a flat and fast course. The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11, 2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. November 7, 2026 The Mighty Heros 5K is a race to benefit Mighty Hero Homes an organization dedicated to eliminating Veteran Homelessness, because THEY DESERVE BETTER! The race will be a wonderful run in McDonough, GA, Henry County through the Lake Dow and Lake Dow Estates communities. All proceeds from the race will go directly to Mighty Hero Homes. Henry County is the scheduled location for the first Mighty Hero Community construction. All proceeds from this race will go to Mighty Hero Homes Organization. 15th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life @ Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA!  This is a Clover & Black Bag Event, and raises awareness for the deadliest cancer of all cancers, Lung Cancer.  We are our own 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping folks in our area struggling with the disease.  Each participant receives a GREAT long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch & beverages (beer for 21 & up!!) after the run!!!  Thursday 10/30 Packet Pick up will be at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4-6 PM,  Friday Oct 31st @ Cypress Grill from 4-6 PM at Cypress Gill and you can also get your packet on Saturday morning Nov 1st. #HonorMark: The purpose of the #HonorMark initiative is to carry on a local hero’s legacy of service and sacrifice by giving back to the community he served through charitable donations.  Mark Edward Hummeldorf served our nation in the armed forces with the Marine Corps for 4 years and as a firefighter/paramedic for Southside Fire and EMS, Bryan County Emergency Services, Savannah Fire Rescue, and Parris Island Fire Rescue. During his time in the Marine Corps, Mark was awarded the Purple Heart for his bravery, which he also exemplified daily in his actions as a first responder. Unfortunately, our community lost this hero on November 22, 2017 when Mark was tragically taken from us at the young age of 33; he left behind his beautiful wife and two wonderful children. Call to action: Mark’s enthusiastic attitude and service before self would want us to put our running shoes on and join his family for our 9th annual event.
