DYCW 8th Annual 5K Walk for Diabetes 2026

Join the fight against diabetes and make a real difference in Georgia! The Diabetes You Can Win Foundation, a proud Georgia-based non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, invites you to our 7th Annual 5K Walk for Diabetes, presented in collaboration with our valued partner, Live Healthy Gwinnett! This family-friendly event, taking place at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, GA, promises a day filled with educational resources, free health screenings, and plenty of fun for all ages. Why is this walk so important? The statistics are stark: Approximately 1 million people in Georgia have been diagnosed with diabetes, and a staggering 230,000 more are living with it undiagnosed, significantly increasing their health risks. An additional 2.6 million Georgians have pre-diabetes, a condition that can often be prevented from progressing to diabetes with proper lifestyle changes. These numbers highlight a critical need for awareness, education, and access to resources right here in our communities. Y
