The LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 during the Farmington Founders Festival. This 5k chip-timed fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through scenic Shiawassee Park and beautiful Downtown Farmington.   This race has something for everyone. If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k. There will be age group medals for awards along with medals for the Overall Male and Female winner. Positioned within the race route will be four color stations. If you wish to forego the color there will be enough room to breeze straight past them. The entry fee includes a t-shirt if signed up by July 5th, 2026. For those signing up after that date we cannot guarantee runner shirts, at that point they will be on a first come basis until they run out.   If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and COLOR!) along the way then this race is for you! Welcome to TriWalloon, a triathlon staged in the increasingly popular Walloon Village. The pristine waters of Walloon Lake are located between Petoskey and Boyne City, Michigan and offer a stunning setting for a triathlon. The event consists of a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike. Our races have proven to be a great event for all, from the beginner athlete who wants to attempt their first triathlon, to the seasoned and elite athletes who race every weekend. Following the rolling hills along the Portage Lake Shipping Canal, the Canal Run offers four distances for runners and walkers of all levels, including a half marathon, 10-mile run, 10-mile walk, five-mile run, five-mile walk and two-mile fun run/walk. Running IS a team sport, and the Brian Diemer Family of Races Cross Country Team Challenge allows you and four (or more) of your friends to experience it all together.  This event resembles a high school-style cross country meet, using standard scoring and a 5K course.  If you don't have a team or enough people to make an entire team, let us know, and we will help you put a team together. We also allow participants to run without being attached to a team.This year are back at Richmond Park in the City of Grand Rapids. The Running To Honor 5K is a timed, family friendly walk (or run) focused on keeping the memory of our Fallen Soldiers & Veterans alive and reminding others that Freedom is never free. The event will take place on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 inside Heritage Park located at 12111 Pardee Rd, Taylor, MI 48180. Welcome to SpartanNash YMCA Byron Days 5K Run/Walk in Byron Center.     The Byron Days 5K has been a signature event of the Bryon Days Festival since 2005.  The 5K will start at 8am on Byron Center Avenue just north of Sherwood and Byron Center intersection and wind through the tree-lined Railside Community to Kent Trails before returning to the finish line.    Whether you are a runner or an occasional walker, we'd love to see you at the start line!  There is also a Virtual 5K Run/Walk if you can't be there race day but want to support the SpartanNash YMCA.   Please register early to be guaranteed a t-shirt.   If you register after July 1, we cannot guarantee that there will be a shirt available for you.   Online registration will remain open until the 8am start of the 5K -  plan to register on your home computer before arriving or your phone on-site.  No onsite computers/tablets will be available to register. Run the Pier Running Festival is a premier annual race experience set along the beautiful Manistee lakeshore, showcasing some of the most iconic scenery Northern Michigan has to offer. This festival was formerly know as The Pig Gig.  After the previous promoter retired 11 years ago we decided to bring it back in 2022.  We are bringing the 5K run/ walk back!  Last year we had a great turn out for our 2nd year of bringing back the race after several people asking.  Race participants will receive a day pass to enjoy the festival for the entire day (only valid Sunday July 27, 2025).
