Run, walk, or stroll a 5K in a flat loop course circling Albany CA's Memorial Park and Albany High School while listening to live music from multiple bands in the fifth annual Move'n'Groove on Sunday May 31, 2026! The action kicks off with the kids-only 0.5 mile race for kids 10 years old and under in a mass start at 9:45am. The 5K starts in waves after the kids race, with the first wave (fastest runners) starting at 10:15am. This musical festival and fitness event will feature bands representing an eclectic array of diverse musical genres positioned around the course during the races playing till Noon. 2026 - event is happening on a Thursday afternoon No race day registration available  The Splash and Dash Race is an aquathon consisting of a 1.5km (1-mile) swim and a 5km (3.2-mile) run. It is a fun, community-focused, grassroots event. There are timing chips; the transition is not fenced in with guards; and spectators, kids, and dogs are encouraged. The swim is in Stevens Creek Reservoir, right outside of Cupertino, CA. The run is on the Stevens Creek Canyon park trails. It is a great way to get intense training in two disciplines or to get open-water swimming practice.

Native American Health Center (NAHC) is excited to announce our 25th Running Is My High (RIMH) 5k/10k Fun Run and Walk themed "25 Years in Motion" on Saturday, June 6th, 2026 at the Fairy Land area of Lake Merritt; 699 Bellevue Ave., Oakland, CA 94610.   NAHC created Running is My High to engage community from all walks of life in an event promoting physical, mental, and cultural health. Annually, our 5K/10K draws over 400 runners and walkers from across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. This special event will feature programming that honors Community Health and Native American cultural practices; includes guest speakers; and features outreach tables to connect our community to helpful resources. The Fontana Days Run Half Marathon began back in 1955 with a reported 200 participants. Race founders were unaware that the annual Half Marathon would grow to include over 2,000 participants. The Fontana Days Run provides participants with a safe, festive, and well organized event. The Annual Fontana Days Run features a Half Marathon, 5K Run, 5K Family Fitness Walk, and a Children's Half Mile Dash. Finish Line festivities include local vendors, exhibitors, entertainment, and food.

Join the Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the Crimson & Cream Community Foundation for our annual Walk for Education. Proceeds will help our chapter continue to provide scholarships to high school seniors in our service area. Our chapter services the cities of Cerritos, Bellflower, Norwalk, La Mirada, Whittier, Hawaiian Gardens, Santa Fe Springs, Artesia and Downey. The Rotary Rainbow Run is sponsored by the San Juan Bautista Rotary Club and all proceeds will benefit the San Benito County Esperanza Center  as well as local scholarship and grants.  San Juan Bautista is a small California Mission town just off Hwy 101 approximately 50 miles south of San Jose.  The Rainbow Run races will start and finish on the old El Camino Real (The Alameda) with the course taking participants through the historic downtown, friendly neighborhoods, rural countryside, and the California State Park and Mission Plaza. Show your community pride by dressing up in a fun and colorful costume! I will be holding the fourth annual, Dashing for Donuts 5K and kids 1 mile fun run on June 7th! We will be running the same course as last year. It will be held on the El Dorado Trail from the new bridge at Missouri Flat Road. It is an out and back race. Once you're finished, you get a donut and a medal. The 5K race will happen first and then we will have the kids 1 mile race.   All proceeds from the race will go to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, (NOCC) -Team Teal. I am a 16 year survivor of ovarian cancer and a team member of NOCC - Team Teal. The Menlo Park Kids Triathlon (“MPKT”) is a triathlon specifically for kids ages from 4 to 17 years old. A triathlon is a race that consists of a combination of three sports: swimming, cycling, and running. The kids start the race with swimming at the Burgess Pool in waves (triathlon speak for groups) of 20 to 25  kids. From the swim, they run to the transition area to put on their helmets, shoes, and anything else they need. They then mount their bikes and head out to the bike course. When the kids are done with the bike, they head back to transition to put their bike away, and head to run round Burgess Park. They finish the race in the park by crossing through the finishing chute!
