Our Annual 5K "FUN RUN" is different than most any other 5K's because at Turtle Lake Resort you don’t need to wear anything, as in clothing, at all. Clothing is completely optional for our event. Wear clothing if you wish or join in with most of our competitors and run in the nude! Our 5K "FUN RUN" is run entirely on our grounds, rain or shine. We are providing a finish line timing display so you will know your time. The first 120 participants will receive a participation medal commemorating their participation. Run the Plank, is a 5K race along the east side of Romeo Plank Road. Freedom Run 5k & Free 1-Mile Kids Run On Sunday June 28th, OUR Credit Union presents the Clawson Freedom Run. First run in 1979, this evening event travels along the tree lined streets of Clawson. Participants are cheered on by residents as they wind their way through the neighborhood. Start/Finish line is at Clawson's City Park. The 51st Annual Pictured Rocks Road Race is set for Sunday, June 28, 2026 in the scenic town of Munising, Michigan — the gateway to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. This year’s event features a Half Marathon RUN and 10K RUN/WALK, both offering a mix of paved roads and rustic two-track trails. The half marathon includes roughly 3 miles of dirt, along with two 300-foot climbs that will put your legs to the test. The 10K shares the first of these climbs along the dirt road section. While the terrain will challenge you, the gorgeous views along the course — plus a very cool finisher medal — make every step worth it. Ready, Set, Glow!  Light up the night with us on Friday, July 3, 2025 The event is designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Runners and walkers are welcome to join in for an evening filled with glow sticks and great music.  The Freedom Run 5k proudly donates its proceeds to the West Michigan Veterans Assistance.  This will be a night run. At 9:30pm, it's go time....5, 4, 3, 2, 1, RUN! Or walk. Our flat route will leave from Dorr's North Park, passing around town and weaving through neighborhoods before returning back to the park. About Kathy's Run for Cancer: Kathy was diagnosed over the Memorial Day Weekend in 2023 with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.  While there is no cure for this disease it is very treatable. Kathy has undergone multiple radiation and chemotherapy treatments.  After twelve weeks she’s had a great response to the treatment and is now only getting immunotherapy infusions every three weeks. Kathy is a fighter, and her great attitude has been instrumental to her positive results. By supporting our local cancer centers and education Kathy feels this turns a difficult situation into something very positive.  The opportunity to revamp this race came at the right time as the committee for the Rose Run decided to step away.  Kathy has gotten incredible care at the Bronson Cancer Center along with the West M

This race is just one part of the City of Kentwood's fun filled 4th of July Celebration! On Tuesday, July 4th, there will be a pancake breakfast, parade, carnival, live music, food trucks, and of course a firework display. The race will start and finish next to Kentwood City Hall and Fire Station #1. It will include a fun course throughout the local neighborhoods and along one of our paved trails. There will be hundreds of spectators along the race route as the start/finish line is along the parade which takes place directly after our race finishes. Celebrating 52 Years in 2026 This year's race will be on Saturday, July 4th. Our goal is to have another awesome event like we always do in beautiful downtown Harbor Springs on the morning of the 4th. All registered runners will get a great dry-fit shirt and can pick up on July 3rd from 4:00-5:30pm or the morning of the 4th at the Harbor Police Station.  Please do NOT arrive early or disturb the Police Station employees. Participants must be registered by June 20th to get a shirt, all others will be first come, first serve.  Please Note: The 5K race is a fun run and will not be officially timed. The 5K begins at 8:00am on July 4, near the Caledonia High School north entrance at 9050 Kraft Ave, Caledonia MI. The race runs throughout the campus, the Thornapple Trail, Lakeside Park, and finally heads back to the high school. All proceeds from the Kilt Klassic events benefit the Caledonia High School Men's and Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country programs. The Fenton Firecracker is an annual tradition just prior to the Fenton 4TH of July Parade.  Come join us for fun and fitness, then stay for the parade! The 13th annual Fenton Firecracker 5K and 2.5K is back!  This is a great race for athletes and weekend warriors alike on July 4th.  The race begins at 9:45 am so be sure to be in place with your bib on by 9:30 am. Race starts at the Ellen Street Campus (World of Wonder) which is also the finish line! Packet pick up will be at Freedom Center Church, 2473 W. The 44th Annual Black Bear Run takes you through scenic trails of the Hiawatha Sportsman’s Club. The course is a combination of pavement and gravel. All runs and walks start at 8 AM.  12K starts at Engadine High School. 6K participants are bused to start.Buses for 6K participants will leave Engadine High School at 7:30 AM, or you can be dropped off. Buses are also available for transportation back to the high school.Each runner gets a dry-fit t-shirt Trophies are presented to the overall winners. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals awarded to male and female winners of the 12K Run, 6K Run, and 6K Walk for each age division. July 4th, 2026 The 20th Annual Hungry Duck race benefit our local non-profit partners in the fight against hunger. Together we can run or walk for an incredible cause to help our community.  The course starts in downtown Brighton, continuing into local scenic areas and returning downtown to finish. Course is mostly paved with portions on hard-packed dirt roads; mostly flat with a few "modest" hills to add a little challenge. The half marathon course will be closed at 9:45am. The Gene Bednarowski Memorial Run has traditionally been run on the 4th of July weekend, and this year is no exception to that rule. We are actually running on July 4th this year.   The event is in memory of Gene Bednarowski, a former Watervliet mentor, teacher, and coach. Proceeds support the Watervliet Track and Field Program. At one time in the history of this event, there was also a 10K race and we are hoping to bring that back this year as well, providing we can get the approval from the State of Michigan.  If the approval comes through, the race will be run through neighborhood streets, along the scenic Paw Paw Lake and through the city of Watervliet.   We are also happy to be partnering with the Fruitbelt Run Series again.  This race can now count towards the completion of Fruitbelt series, which allows competitors to run a series of 5 races which will result in a series medal.  This year's prize is a special medal commemorating the 20th year. The area's largest 5k! The Beaverton Firecracker 5k is an annual timed race run/walk event that has a combination of road and trail. Every participant receives a T-shirt and a finishers medal. You must register before the deadline in order to guarantee a shirt. The race also gives awards for the top 3 races in each age division and top overall male/female. In 2019, we introduced a 1 mile fun run! This event will be open for all ages and participants will receive a finishers medal!

Come out to support our local Lake City Trojan students and athletes! All proceeds from this event go directly to Lake City Boosters. The 5k and 10k courses are fast, flat routes winding along beautiful Lake Missaukee and through downtown Lake City decked in its patriotic finest! Starting at the brewing facility for Territorial Brewing Company, participants will run to and through the grounds of the Field of Flight and experience air crafts and more while getting an up-close view of the festival grounds as they are running by. Runners will then continue on the beautiful streets and boulevards of Battle Creek for a fairly flat, scenic course.
